Dreamweaver cc and phonegap build

I'm going crazy trying to sort this out - I have built a mobile app. and am trying to use the phonegap build service in dreamweaver.
I have logged in and and created a new project and there it seems to hang asking me to insert Passwords for Android and Blackberry.
I'm new to this and confused, none of the tutorials show entering a password (except of course for iOS).
If I do need these where do I get them from?
Somebody ease my aching head please!!

Edge Animate and PhoneGap Build - audio problems

I am using EA to build an app and using PGB to build it.
I have been using EA's built in audio code to play my sound and uut works great, in a browser.
I then built a test app with PGB and the animation and interactivity and links all work great, but there is no sound.
The lack of audio is not interfering with the rest of the app though, it's as if the audio plays but at 0 volume.
I have the cordova media plugin listed in my config.xml, but I have to assume that the EA code is not compatible. Is there a different plugin I can add to the config.xml?
I have also tried using the cordova media code:

But this doesn't play the audio, and halts the rest of the app - I am thinking that I have either written it incorrectly or I am missing something somewhere else.

DreamWeaver CS6 with PhoneGap Build error on Android

I was building helloworld app on DreanWeaver CS6 via builtin PhoneGap
all OS build fine accept Android
Getting Application Error : tmp/gimlet/workshop/assets/www/res/icon
I canot find how or where this tmp directory is on my MAC or PhoneGap back end.????
Any suggestions?

Are you seeing this error consistently? Can you please create a new site and try out again? Or you can login directly to https://build.phonegap.com/ and check if the building is going fine?

I know you can use this combination for smart phones, but does PhoneGap also support tablets?

PhoneGap Build Service 'build error'

I'm having trouble with Dreamweaver CC and PhoneGap Build Service. I get 'build error' and when I click the 'view' button it says 'Failed to upload application'. (I'm building for Android only.) And on build.phonegap.com the name of my app has changed to 'PhoneGap Build Project' Why? It had the right name before... And the version says 1.0.0, which is also wrong. The app ID is: 819335

Can you please follow the below mentioned steps:
1. Quit Dw.
2. Please navigate to the following location:
Win: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Adobe
Mac: /Users/{username}/Library/Adobe
3. Delete the folder "PGB"
4. Relaunch Dw and login to PGB and continue with your scenario.
Let me know if the issue still persists.

How to build database driven mobile apps with dreamweaver and phonegap?

Hi all,
I'm searching the easiest way to implement a simple database in my app.
I can build application with php/mysql in seconds with dreamweaver.
But how can I do something similar with dreamweaver cs5.5 and phonegap for mobile apps?
I would like to create a little app that pulls data from a mysql database on my webserver.
But it seems that dreamweaver/phonegap/jquery mobile work only with HTML files.
I searched the whole web for a day now but I haven't found anything easy to recreate.
Is there a tutorial that explains the basic of database for mobile in dreamweaver?
It seems a bit limitating to use dreamweaver to build only static/useless apps....
What about forms and data validation?

Also, if you want to take it a step further, you can create & manage a 'local database' without having to access anything remotely - basically handling everything at the client's end.

How to install PhoneGap Build for Dreamweaver CC 2014?

I originally posted this to the PhoneGap Build forum but it occurred to me that it is more of a Dreamweaver problem.
Creative Cloud helpfully installed the latest version of Dreamweaver for me (CC 2014). When I click on the PhoneGap Build Service menu item (under Site) I get a message that it is now an add-on I have to install. I eventually end up at this page - https://creative.adobe.com/addons/pro... with absolutely no clue on how to download or install it. The only useful-looking link on the page: 'Get this Add-on for CS6' just takes me around in a big circle back to this page. What am I missing? The troubleshooting tips under 'Where to find it' just say 'If you have followed the instructions shown...'. What instructions? Where?

The problem I have is that no button there is where 'download' and not be as to download this extension of the "phonegap".
I see that there are many people in the network with the same problem.
Any comments are appreciated

Phonegap 'Build and Emulate' never works, tons of errors

DReamweaver and Phonegap no longer work for me either and I do have Phonegap 1.2.0

I'm not able to 'Build and Emulate' or 'Build' in Dreamweaver CS5.5 either. When I upgraded to ios5, it never worked again. Phonegap and Adobe are all about the dreamweaver integration and it doesn't work! Here is the Build Log Fail that I've been getting for 2 months:

The camera.h file mentioned is stored in /Applications/Adobe Dreamweaver CS5.5/Configuration/NativeAppFramework/DWPhoneGap/iphone/PhoneGapLib/Classes/.

PhoneGap Build inside Dreamweaver

I have installed the Android SDK. But I can't emulate the device because it remains in the status of Build Queued.... It never reach the Build complete status.
If I connect through the browser to PhoneGap build, it compile the .apk correctly, indeed I installed on my S3 ad It works!.
My real problem is that I can't emulate inside Dreamweaver, because the panel I attached never reach the Build Complete Status.
Could you help me, please.

Dreamweaver 6/PhoneGap Build Service Android Key Question

I just recently upgraded to CS6 and am excited to use the mobile sutff. I have been a CFer for years and using Jquery for a long time and have been using JQM more and more. Now I want to evolve from a web developer into an app developer. I thought the cool integrations within DW6 would be a good way to start.
So I watched Greg Rewis' intro video to get a flavor of things. I set up my first app site. I then created a simple JQM page to test with. I then downloaded the Android SDK (which is what I am starting with, but plan on branching out to the other OS'). I created an AVD, created a keystore and all that. I then went through the process of attaching my keystore to my PhoneGap Build Service account. That all went well, although it did not ask me to make it the default and I am assuming that is because it is the only key at this point...just a note for copywriters.
I then went back to DW to go through the PhoneGap Build Service panel to create my first app to play with. Here si where I ran into an issue. The PhoneGap Build Service panel asks for a key under the Android section (which I expected), but when I clicked on the drop down where it said none, that is all that was there. The key I uploaded to my PhoneGap Build Service account was not listed. I even logged out and logged back in, shut down DW and reopened it and nothing I did caused it to display. Can someone please point me in the right direction? If I can get this last piece of the puzzle, I can begin cranking through some code.

As long as you are signing into the same account in DW as you are on the PhoneGap Build website, any keystores you uploaded would be available inside of Dreamweaver.

Dreamweaver and PhoneGap: How to Edit the Application Manifest for an Android app

I successfully created an Android app using dreamweaver cs6 and the PhoneGap build service. I submitted the app and it is live in Google Play. The only problem is that the app is requiring all kinds of permissions from users that are not necessary for the app. The app requires Internet access, but it does not require access to the camera or the user's contacts, etc. I understand that this information is held in the Application Manifest file, but I don't know where that file is.
Can you help me figure out how to edit the Application Manifest file for my android app?

To edit permissions, you do so in the config.xml file. After making changes, you can directly upload on build.phonegap.com or from within Dreamweaver.

PhoneGap Build:Cannot Connect to Server Dreamweaver CS6

Hey guys, I was wondering if someone could fix this problem, Im having, i have Dreamweaver cs6 on a mac, And im trying to login to phonegap build in dreamweaver, but everytime i try, it tells me that it cannot connect to the servers, plz try again later, is this a known problem?

I have a phonegap account and it's linked to the Adobe account;
Logging in phonegap.com and compiling my apps in their website, works just fine;
I have always Dreamweaver signed in to the Adobe account;
Here are the content of my files:
init_status.txt: {"message": "Failed to upload application. Unable to create zip file. Reason: null","error": 404}
auth_status.txt: {"statusCode": 200,"statusMessage": "Authenticated"}

I just want to say that this was THE feature that made me buy CS6 in the first place, and it's not working as intended.

PhoneGap Build Extension for Dreamweaver 2014.1 is not working

There is an error message which tells me that the plugin is only working with the version 2014.0
If the source code for this extension would be available, i could update the extension for us.

1 - Menu > Help > Updates. update Dw if there is any update pending.
2 - re-create site cache by going to Site > Advanced > Re-create site cache.
