DTP Failure with additional KYF

I have created a cube that is being fed by 2 DSO's. Both DSO's have the same keys. One DSO (DSO1) has 1 KYF and the other (DSO2) has 2 KYF's (say KYF1 and KYF2). I have successfully added a 3rd KYF (KYF3) to DSO2 and have loaded the DSO successfully.
However, when I add KYF3 to the cube and try to load it, I get a generic DTP failure message saying 'Error while updating to target Z*** (type INFOCUBE), Message no. RSBK241'.
When I remove the the new KYF3 from the cube, it loads successfully. Interestingly enough, when I remove KYF2 and keep the newly added KYF3 in the cube, it also loads successfully.
Any ideas?

Hi,
The reason you're getting this error when you add the new key is that there is a structural change in the cube and therefore the underlying transformation is no longer valid. You can check your transformation it will show up as inactive. Now since the DTP is based on this transformation it is also not valid and therefore fails.
You need to reactivate your transformation and then your DTP when you make changes to any object.

I see that you are experiencing a communication error during scanning of multiple pages. I would like to help, but I will need some more information to provide you with the correct steps to resolve this issue.
If you are using Windows, download and run the Print and Scan Doctor. It will diagnose the issue and might automatically resolve it. Find and fix common printer problems using HP diagnostic tools for Windows?
Temporarily turn off any Antivirus Software, just to rule out any interference.
Try scanning again.
What operating system are you using?

Mac OS X: How Do I Find Which Mac OS X Version Is on My Computer?
How is the printer connected? (USB/Ethernet)
What were the results when you ran the Print and Scan Doctor? (did it print or scan, any error messages)

PlayReady failure with specific OS version of Windows 8.1 Update

Hello,
I'm observing a failure in my app during Smooth Streaming video playback using PlayReady DRM. The app is a WinJS Universal App solution for Windows Store and Windows Phone, using the latest updates for Visual Studio 2013, Update 4.
So far, the failure is limited to one specific version of the Windows 8.1 Update. I have two identical devices, both retail versions of the phone, that demonstrate this issue. Note, these same phones that fail with PlayReady can successfully
stream unprotected Smooth Streaming content.
My other five Windows Phone devices, with different OS version numbers, do not demonstrate the failure with the identical app installed. Therefore, I suspect the OS version may be the cause.
Failure description:
When I attempt to stream PlayReady protected Smooth Streaming video, the player initializes the media player and the MediaProtectionManager, but then displays the error state (The video failed to play. Try again.) immediately, and the following message is
displayed in Visual Studio:
MEDIA12899: AUDIO/VIDEO: Unknown MIME type.

0x887A0004 equates to DXGI_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED. This error is usually generated when you are trying to use Direct3D features that are not supported. Different devices support different D3D features since they contain different video hardware. It is possible
that a hardware feature that is required by the license is not supported in the hardware / driver of the device. I would recommend that you check the license and make sure that it does not contain any hardware specific requirements such as HDCP.
In other words try playing content with the least restrictive license and see if it works for you.

I'm trying to make a request against Exchange(*) EWS
using WWSAPI (native code).
Exchange replies with the error:
"Cannot process the message because the content type
'application/soap+xml; charset=utf-8;
action="http://schemas.microsoft.com/exchange/services/2006/messages/ResolveNames"'
was not the expected type 'text/xml; charset=utf-8'."
It seems the SOAP envelope is ill-formed.
If I manually create the envelope (without WWSAPI) EWS gives no error.
Is WWSAPI supported for EWS?
I can provide all the code for testing.

We've a requirement to customize the eText template of the Positive Pay file with additional parameters report. The setup is done , now the program is picking up the new format. Since the payments involves multilines hierarchy, we are unable to print the data in the hierarchical format. Our requirement is to print a Header with information like BankAccountNumber,Total Amount in Dollars , Total number of lines. And Detail segment with all the infomation like BankNumber, BankAccount Number, Amount, Print 'V' if the check is voided etc. please let me know how to achieve this format in eText.

Custom component with additional tags

Hi. I need to write complicated custom JSF component.
I know how to write simple custom components, and receive String variables from tag attributes e.g.

How can I write such component? How can I receive collections in my component? How can I work with additional tags in my component.

But the URL that is generated is not having the CommunityID, hence it errors out saying object not found.

Failure with mpeg2 dvd

I'm rendering the same sequence of about an hour to different formats mostly hd 1080p h.264 and pal to mpeg2 dvd so encore wont work hard to convert.
last days I cant get the mpeg 2 dvd to render, I keep getting errors/failure.if I render just mpeg2 it renders perferct.
so until I could ditch the DVD for good I realy need the AME queue with mpeg2 dvd for my workflow.
I hav'nt checked it but I'm sure it will export mpeg2 dvd directly from PP

the settings are done in PP
by the way if I switch to mercury engine softwere only it renderes but very
very slow

DTP failure which was in process chain after transport

Hi,
I created a DTP in Development Server and it get transported to QA successfully.
I also created a Prcocess Chain that execute that DTP. When I tried to transport this Process Chain to QA, transport was sucess but when i check in QA process chain was not in active mode. its showing the error that DTP is not in active A version.
Error:Process variant DTP_LOAD DTP_4AEIYC0UV528F7W1JL587E7HR does not exist in version A
I checked the DTP in QA and I noticed that the DTP has been converted to a different technical name which is not the same as the one I transported from Development.
Example: DTP DTP_LOAD DTP_4AEIYC0UV528F7W1JL587E7HR in Dev is converted to DTP_4AN4TVDRYNSMT95UGI48JVC6J in QA.
Please advise how I can transport the Process Chain that call this DTP from dev to QA

Hi Sri,
You need to collect your DTP along with the Process chain in the same request. When you migrate DTPs from DEV to QA , a new DTP ID are generated in QA system and your DTP in the Process chain points to DEV's DTP and that is why you get this error. You can also find more information when you turn on the " Detail View On" from the menu. This will display technical name of all the objects in your process chain.
so recollect your DTPs and the process chains objects in the same transport request and migrated to QA ,this will Fix you issue.

I'm writing a site with the following simple structure: JSP using taglibs is for page structure, and taglibs are for applying XSLT to XML. Model uses XPath to extract needed XML , and there is no controller. Typical JSP is like that news.jsp:

</my:page>This displays a page with 10 news list and a range selector string like that:

Tag my:rangeSelector asks its parent tag my:news (which implements IHasRange, so as my:photos for photogallery thumbnails grid, etc.) about the total number of news to form that range selection string. The idea is the following: after the user clicks for example on 11..20, there goes a request, the same as the previous one, but with additional parameter, something like rangeStart=11. The question is HOW TO ACHIEVE THIS keeping in mind that my:rangeSelector knows nothing about its parent, but that it should implement IHasRange. In other words, how to reload the current page with the same set of parameters, and one more additional parameter, without explicit specifying the page, i. e. without that:
<my:rangeSelector target="news.jsp" />Maybe Struts as a controller can help? I have no idea about it...

I have the same problem: I had used F5 to make text smaller (zoom out). F6 to Zoom In still works, but F5 doesn't. It worked under Safari 4 BETA, but not the release version. I've tried this on several machines.

When i am trying to establish connection from applet to servlet using URLConnection..
It is giving me java.io.ioexception Connection failure with 500.
Can anybody let me know why and how to solve this.

Error code 500 is "Internal Server Error." Unfortunately this could be loads of things. :-(
What servlet / web-server are you using?
Some general pointers.....
- Check your web-server access log and see if the request is received. (I'd expect so as you're getting a 500 error)
- Check your servlet log & see if it is init-ing correctly.
- I always write a simple doGet() method in my servlets so that I can check whether the servlet is alive or not...

Very doubtful, but if you have insurance, you would need to talk to them regarding replacement and any deductible you may have to pay.

Join table with additional data
