How to maintain DUNs number in vendor master?Is there any field to key in the DUNs no.?
Besides, Is there any chance to upload to SAP?

Multiple Enterprise Accounts using single DUNS number

We are a parent company with a couple of subsidiaries who would like to release iOS titles under their own company name.
From what I understand, to release an app to the App Store that has the subsidiary company name listed we would need a developer account for each subsidiary.
If we apply for a DUNS number for the parent company, is it possible to then create several enterprise developer accounts for each subsidiary but submit the DUNS number for the parent company?

The Duns Number is Invalid error when importing Supplier Sites

Hi All,
In my data file I have a field DUNS no,
with values
14
15
16
When I insert into interface table and run the open interface, i rejection mesage as The Duns Number is Invalid.
When we create a supplier in front end in R12 even if we enter a value like 14 it will concatinate it with zeros and show it when we query.
The duns number column in interfac table is of Varchar, but in hz_parties for duns_number we have two columns duns_number and duns_number_c
where in next one the actual duns number is getting concatinated by some string like XXOPU - 0034, actual duns number is 34.
How to handel this in my validation program.
Please let me know the solution.

Do I have to pay $299 for a DUNS number? Why won't the $49 version work?

I'm trying to register as a company to build a for-profit application and launch it in the iStore. It says I have to apply for a DUNS number which is fine, I understand about building business credit and establishing ourselves as a reputable entity. I called D and B and they said I HAD to sign up for the $299 plan to get the number and that the $49 version on their website was not good enough to get into the iStore.
Any ideas if this is true and why? (I've only heard it from the sales rep at D and B so I'm slightly skeptical) Any help/insight would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I was offered a free DUNS number but the process to getting it would take 30 days and I'm in a hurry, so I decided to go with the expedited service (around $120 USD) which takes 24 hours only. What I'm starting to question is whether a simple DUNS numer is enough for all countries or not, we know it is enough for US companies since they can update their company profiles themselves via D&B iUpdate service, but for us foreign companies there's no such thing and apparently a "D&B Full Profile Analysis" (around $200USD) is the way to go. I spoke this morning to the person in charge of processing DUNS number requests and she encouraged me to insist with Apple that my DUNS number is valid and that my profile is complete, and to also ask them to verify the information with their D&B executive(s), she said there are a lot of other companies here in Mexico having the same problem since January and that most have been able to fix it by asking Apple to double check the information with their D&B executive(s), she also mentioned that updating Apple's D&B plattform completely actually takes 2 months and not 14 days, that's why sometimes not all the data is there when we try to sign up and that's also why Apple needs to ask a D&B executive to double check the info in other databases/platforms/whatever they use to keep our data temporarily, anyway right now I'm waiting for an Apple senior advisor who is looking into the issue since last week, I'll keep this thread updated.

Single Supplier but multiple DUNS number

Hi Experts,
I need your valuable advice on the following scenario.
I am working on SAP PI 7.1. This is a B2B scenario and I am using RNIF adapter 2.0. There is Outbound and Inbound data flow between ECC and Supplier via SAP PI.
Say, I have a Supplier, "ROSE". Under ROSE, there are 4 different vendors numbers. ALL the 4 vendors are identified by the same name ROSE and all have different DUNS numbers. Based on the vendor number, data must flow to the specific Vendor location and vice versa.
Now when I configure the scenario, my Communication Party should be ROSE for all the 4 vendors. But I cannot assign more than 1 DUNS number to a single Party. Is their any other way to achieve PO flow with Party name being ROSE and data be successfully sent to the 4 vendors.
My doubt is, will assigning different Communication Party names to the 4 vendors affect the data flow between Supplier and us? Should Communication Party name be the same at both the ends??
Any pointers will be rewarded.

Dear Chetan Shah,
You can use the Business Add-Ins (BADI) VENDOR_ADD_DATA_CS and BADI VENDOR_ADD_DATA for processing enhancements in the vendor master record.
You use the BADI VENDOR_ADD_DATA_CS to integrate your own subscreens in
the standard dialog. You can process your own data (add-on data) on these subscreens.

I have a requirement where in we have to send XML to different external Partners. The external Partners are identified based on the DUNS number. Also these external Partners would be sending us the data and depending upon the Partner we have to invoke corresponding service. I need your inputs on how to design this scenario using Party, Business Service and Sender Agency Duns and Receiver Agency Duns.

Where is the correct place to store a DUNS number for a sold-to customer?
I am not seeing any pre-existing fields for the DUNS number.

In the UIX page I check for the proxy in the event result, if it is there I take it, otherwise I take it from bindingcontext. Is this the right way to do it? Here is the UIX code:

Of course, it will take some time because Apple has to verify your information. But while you wait, you can be developing and selling software instead of complaining like some other people so often do in this forum.

DUNS number for iOS Enterprise Program

Hi all,
I'm from Vietnam. I am planning to make an app for my company with iOS Enterprise Program. However, I have problem with DUNS number. I googled and gave me somethings like it's free to get DUNS number within 30 days ( I'm not sure it's free or not in my country) or I need to pay $450.
I am confusing about it and how can I get DUNS number from DnB without using their service?

Duns number update in Sourcing

Hi,
We have around 1500 vendors ( Supplier) in CLM system version 9.0.
Few are having Duns number around 10% remaining are not having empty in Duns number
field.
However in ECC system now the Duns number are updated for around 80% of the vendors.
Now how do i make the changes in CLM system. ie updating the duns number for the suppliers in CLM.
It will be great if step by step details.

Hi Divakar,
Please prepare the workbook in which maintain below 2 fields:
EXTERNAL_ID,DUNS
Where EXTERNAL_ID is the external id of the supplier and DUNS is the value which you want to update.
Prepare the workbook and go to Setup-->System Administration-->Import Data-->New
and the upload the workbook which you have prepared. in the next screen select the Object Type as supplier and click next.
Wait till the import finishes. DUNS of all the supplier will be updated in the SCLM System.

Dunning Letters printed twice for the each Dunning number.

Hi,
Dunning letters are printed twice with the same Invoice & Details and sent to the customer.
could you please let me know why the Dunning letter has benn printed twice? We need to give change any Profile options on printer side or in Adv collections?
