Duplex printing with the MG3150

I have a 36 page document which is A4 in size folding to A5 and I want to print it out as a finished file and I was wonderig if anyone has any information about the duplex feature with the Canon MG3150. Basically the printer is printing both sides of the document but its printing it upside down so the page numbers are not following in the correct order. I think it might have something to do with the 'print both sides' option but for some reason I cannont get this feature to highlight (its always in grey) Any ideas?

Hello designalien.
Unfortunately, we here at Canon USA are not familiar with the MG3150.  It appears that this unit is available in Europe or the UK..
If the unit unit was purchased in Europe, please visit the following link for more information or assistance:

  • Duplex Printing from the web with a Macintosh

I have a MacBook Pro running OSX.5.8 and an HP printer Photosmart C309a.  I have not been able to use duplex printing from the web.  Any suggestions on how I can achieve this?  It's the reason I bought this particular machine.

File > Page Setup = '''Scale'''
Scale controls the size of what is printed.

  • Duplex printing with officejet pro 8000

I am using this officejet pro 8000 to print up some newsletters.  When printing a two sided copy (duplex printing) something happens which changes my border setting.  Printing the exact same document, but electing one-sided copy renders a perfect border.  I would not have a problem copying just one side, then re-loading those in order to make two-sided copies, but the friction caused by the ink on the pages causes mulitple sheets to feed at the same time, jamming the printer.  Has HP ever come up with a fix for this?  I have seen this problem on the net, but the best folks have done (that I have seen) is to upload drivers for older machines.  This has rendered good borders on duplex prints, but diminishes the quality of the print copy.  Whatcha think?

Mac Help senior customized my settings by adding "duplex printing" to the "Presets" list.
Are you using the latest drivers from HP? If I set up a printer with the HP Officejet Pro 8000 A809 Series PPD, I can see Two-Sided to the right of Collated if the HP Two-sided Printing Accessory (Duplexer) is checked in the Print & Fax -> Options & Supplies -> Driver tab. If this is not checked, Two-Sided won't appear.
MAC HAS TO CREATE A PATCH TO SIMPLIFY THIS SNOW LEOPARD ERROR!
Apple doesn't write the HP software.
    Hope this helps.

  • HP Pro 200 M276nw Color Printer Duplex printing with Mac OSX Yosemite 10.10

So, I have been trying to use the duplex printing feature with my Mac. However, I havne't been able to figure it out. I see the option for manual duplex printing, but the actual duplex printing feature is not working.
    Any advice?

    Hi @joshcooley09 ,
I see that you are experiencing issues duplexing from Yosemite. I will certainly do my best to help you.
Did you download and install the latest software for Yosemite for the printer?
HP LaserJet Pro 200 Color M276 Full Feature Software and Drivers.
Check the driver name that is installed for the printer. Make sure it shows just the printer's name.
Click the Apple menu and then click System Preferences. Click Printers & Scanners, highlight the printer name on the left side and on the right side of the screen it should show the printer's name. (Laserjet M276)
If the full printer name isn't listed correctly, delete it and add the printer name back in from the list. Click the - sign to delete the driver and then click the + sign to add the driver, might have to click the drop down to select the printer's name to add it in.
Now try and print two sided.
On the File menu, click the Print option.
Open the Finishing menu, and click the Manual Duplex tab or open the Manual Duplex menu.
Click the Manual Duplex box and select a binding option.
Click the Print button. Follow the instructions in the pop-up window that appears on the computer screen before replacing the output stack in Tray 1 for printing the second half.
If the issue persists, connect the printer to the Mac by a USB cable and test the printer. Just to rule out a network issue, if the printer is networked.
How is the printer connected? (USB/Ethernet/Wireless)
If you need further assistance, just let me know.
    Have a nice day!

  • How to duplex print with HP 200 Laserjet?

I'm having trouble duplex printing with my new Macbook Pro. Any suggestions? I have reloaded print drivers- Originally I was not able to select double sided printing but now I can, but it does not actually print double sided.

For cases where there is no hardware duplexer and the manufacturer's driver does not support manual duplexing, you could try HP's two-sided printing PDF workflow.  I have not tried that for quite a while, so I can't guarantee it still works with the latest version of OS X.

    Hi all,
I solved myself... This is the way...
I have an Epson Matrix Printer (Epson DFX-8500)
In SAP, I created the Epson DFX-8500 Printer with the device type SAPWIN. This printer have some attributes in windows operational system (Windows XP). One of this attributes is the default paper size (Letter).
To change this, you have to do what the SAP Note 163136 (Creating new paper size for Windows NT-2000-XP-2003) says:
    Solution
Note: This note is based on Note Q157172 from the Microsoft Knowledge Base.
You create a new paper size this way in Windows NT:
    1. Choose 'Control Panel' and double-click 'Printer'.
    2. Select 'Server Properties' in the 'File' menu.
    3. Select the 'Create A New Form' check box on the 'Forms' tab page.
    4. Enter the settings for the new paper size.
NOTE : If you set up your own customized paper size, the margins
cannot exceed the settings of the installed printer. The print area
must correspond to the margin settings of the printer driver used.
    5. Save the paper size.
Proceed as follows to use the new paper size as the default format:
    1. Select 'Printer' in the 'Control Panel'.
    2. Click the right mouse button to select the required printer and select
    'Document defaults'.
    3. Select the new paper size in the 'Paper Size' selection box (on the
    'Advanced' tab page).
    4. Click OK.
    5. Again with the right mouse button click the required printer and
    select 'Attributes'.
    6. Open the 'Device Settings' tab page and select the paper tray from
which you should print. Then select the new paper size.
NOTE: New paper sizes are stored on the computer on which they were
created. If you create a new paper size for a shared printer, you must
create the new paper size on the printer's print server.
NOTE : In Windows XP, there is an error in this procedure that can be
corrected with Note Q838298 from the Microsoft Knowledge Base.
    I hope it helps you...

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
The section Install missing components has advice on breaking down the iTunes installer into the individual .msi files which might prove useful if AAS won't install normally.

After I retouch a pic, it won't print with the retouches.  It still prints the original pic.  What am I doing wrong?

There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on eight different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary from version to version and OS to OS. So before anyone can help, they need information to work with. Things like:
    - What version of iPhoto.
    - What version of the Operating System.
    - Details. What were you doing when the problem arose?
    - Did it ever work properly?
    - Are there error messages?
    - What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
Anything else you can think of that might allow someone else to understand your issue.

  • I cannot print on my Canon i550 printer with the used Win7 computer I just bought. I downloaded a dr

I cannot print on my Canon i550 printer with the used Win7 computer I just bought. I downloaded a driver update from Canon that is supposed to fix the incompatibility issue, but it does nothing. Can anyone help? Can't afford a new computer or printer!

Hi cjvandeveer, The Windows 7 operating system has a mini-driver built-in for the printer. You can plug in the USB cable of printer into the computer and then turn the printer on. If Windows 7 automatically recognizes the printer, it will appear in your DEVICES AND PRINTERS window, and you will be able to print. You will then need to download the Windows 7 printer driver add-on module from our website. The add-on module will give the printer its full capability, but only after the printer is already recognized by Windows 7. First, to see if Windows recognizes your printer, please follow these steps: 1. Plug in the printer's USB cable into the computer and then turn on the printer. 2. Go to your START MENU on the computer and select DEVICES AND PRINTERS. 3. See if your printer is located in the DEVICES AND PRINTERS window. If it is not, we may need to run Windows Update on your computer in order for the printer to be initially recognized. Please follow these steps to install the latest driver for your printer from Windows Update: 1. Turn the printer on and ensure it is connected to the computer with the USB cable. Please note that your computer will also need to be connected to the internet before performing the next step. 2. Click on your START menu button, and in the text box that appears, type in 'WINDOWS UPDATE', then click on START SEARCH. The Windows Update window should open. 3. Click on the 'SEARCH FOR UPDATES' or 'CHECK FOR UPDATES' link. The computer will search for updates and then display the updates it has found relevant to your operating system and devices connected to it. 4. View the CRITICAL UPDATES and OPTIONAL UPDATES that appear; if you see an update for your printer, select that one and then install it. 5. Once the driver is installed, please restart your computer. Once Windows 7 recognizes your printer, you can then install the printer add-on module from our website to give the printer its full functionality.  Hope this helps! This didn't answer your question or issue?
