Duplicate option in workflow

Hi
In CA in admin ACC - Workflow- Publishing-commonWorkflow when i have to make changes in that i just right click on it and gave duplicate the workflow but that duplicate option is ter but its just read only mode cant able to duplicate pls help me how to change it....

You might want to check couple of things: First, in ACC > People and Organizations > Control Center Groups - ensure that your user group has all the required access rights for workflows.
If all the access rights are fine then make sure that your workflow editor server is configured correctly. Clean up any exiting data from epub_wf_server_id table on the CA database and configure workflow editor server through the Workflow Process Manager’s XML configuration file /atg/epub/workflow/process/workflowProcessManager.xml as below and then restart the CA server.

If you are on Version 11.0.1 rather than 11 Apple put it back in
View > Show Duplicates
Option + View > Show Exact Duplicates
so if you are on 11 upgrade to 11.0.1 and you will have it

After updating to new Itunes vers, the "find duplicates" option is missing. I hope this is an overlooked option and will be re-instated.

How does remove duplicates option in sort transformation behaves?

I am currently on a performance tuning task and I am in the process of replacing the existing transformation (especially SORT, aggregate since it is blocking) into a Stored Procedures (SP). I am not getting the exact results as that of the SORT transformation (remove duplicates) when using the methods in the SP to remove duplicates such as DISTINCT clause, HAVING COUNT>1 option, ROWNUMBER() using OVER PARTITION BY ORDER BY clauses.
Could any of one help me how exactly does the SORT transformation with remove duplicate options work in SSIS?
Please let me know if you need any more information.

There's an important thing to understand about using the "remove duplicates" feature of the Sort transform - the results are arbitrary. For example, take the following dataset:
ID |   Name
3    |   Mervyn
2    |   Bharani
1    |   Nitesh
2    |   Jamie
Now, if you use the Sort transform to sort on ID and then remove duplicates then you *might* end up with the following result:
ID |   Name
1    |   Nitesh
2    |   Bharani
3    |   Mervyn
or, you *might* end up with this:
ID |   Name
1    |   Nitesh
2    |   Jamie
3    |   Mervyn
notice how it arbitrarily picks either "Jamie" or "Bharani" because they both have the same ID. I've never seen any requirement, ever, that says "arbitrarily pick a result, I don't care which one I get".
I guess the point I'm ultimately trying to make is this - are you *sure* that what you want to do is replicate this behaviour? There is no construct in T-SQL that replicates the arbitrary nature of the Sort transfom (and nor should there be), with T-SQL you absolutely have to tell it whether (in the above example) you would want "Jamie" or "Bharani".

I don't want to know how to delete duplicate photos anymore. I would like to know why Apple have not put in delete duplicate option menu in iPhoto? Very curious. Is it to frustrate users, so they have to go out and buy another apple photo product?

Just want to know why Apple have not made an options menu to remove duplicate photos in iPhoto? I know about downloads you can purchase to delete Dups, but I'm very interested to find out from apple themselves as to why they left this out, to die without knowing this is like having viruses on a pc or waiting for the web page to pop up on windows...

You could have more 5 computers authorized if you ever, for example, reformatted a hard drive or replaced a hard drive without deauthorizing the computer first. Apple's system would see that as a different computer, even though you don't. There's nothing to be afraid of in deauthorizing everything and the reauthorizing what you actually have. You won't lose any data. Mistimp is correct, they can't tell you which computers are authorized.

Duplicate Sales Order - Workflow

Hi,
I have a requirement like this..
When duplicate sales order is received through EDI , I need to notify to Customer service team.
If purchase order and ship-to is same and PO date is within 30 days, need to notify that it is a duplicate sales order. Do we have any user-exits or BADI'S for this requirement?

How to enable the "Reassign" Option in WorkFlow Notification

I have sent a workflow test mail to a user, and that user wanted to reassign the notification to other user, Is it possible,,
In the same workflow page there is a button "Reassign" option which can able to do this reassign, but its show a error like below
You may not "Reassign" notification "Workflow Notification Mailer Test in DEV01 - Successful!" because reassign has been disabled.It means reassign is successfully done, but the option is disabled,, is int,, can i enable that option,, ?

Actually we try to reassign test workflow mail from a user. this mail was sent by sysadmin. And our SCM Functional team trying to set up a reassign process of workflow mailer for their requirement. we tried to test this and reassign by user.

Multiple List Box showing Duplicate Options in Existing Form Library forms.

Good day. I currently have an InfoPath 2010 form library template that has a view containing 4 multiple selection list boxes. These list boxes get their values from a hidden view that contains 4 repeating tables in which I've set default values
for Value and Display name to populate the multiple selection list boxes.
The issue I am having is this: When adding new options to the repeating tables through the Default Values option window and publish, new forms display the new selection options successfully, while existing forms in the library when opened are displayed duplicates
of the first default value in the table in the place of the new options. (Example, Create Data[display] - 10[value] is displaying 4 times after adding 3 new options to the characteristics table that contains Create Data as it's first row item.)
When comparing the .XML of a new form to an existing form, groupX in this case shows all options in the new form .XML, but shows the duplicates in the .XML of an existing .XML file.
Is there a way to resolve this issue so that existing documents will display the proper selection options instead of the duplicates? I'd like to note that another list box had a value added and it displayed the value properly when published in both
new and existing forms.

There are no rules on Section A.
Two out of three forms used so far by the users have these problems.
We did extensive trending study on all the submitted forms on both where the submit was successful and ones with Section A frozen up. Also, requested a user to submit a few forms per our instructions on different browsers. Even though there are some
forms in the past which could be claimed as success has some attachment uploaded to the Section A of the form, currently every time an attempt by any usetr to attach a smallest document the section A, it wipes out all the existing completed fields and freezes
up all the rest of the controls of that section and not any other part of the form.

What happened to "Show Duplicates" option in i8?

There used to be an option under "View" that allowed you to view duplicate songs in your iTunes library. What happened to it...?

It's under File menu.
Also, if you hold alt and select File menu, it turns into *Show exact duplicates*.

ITunes 11 removed Display duplicates option

I downloaded iTunes 11 and there is no longer an option to Display Dupicates in the File menu. Am I missing it somewhere or did they get rid of it?

I don't think implementation would have been an issue. Much of the behind the scenes code won't have been changed. The duplicates filter will most likely be a pretty standard SQL query.
One of the problems with the old display duplicates feature was that novice users would select all the displayed items and delete them, only to discover that their library now contained no copies of the tracks that had previously been duplicated. Even when this is understood there are a number of different ways of generating duplicates in iTunes, some of which create extra files on the hard drive, some of which don't. When deleting it is important to know which you have otherwise you can delete the only physical copy of a track in error. This is one of the reasons I wrote the DeDuper script, not because I needed it, but because I was interested to see if it could be done automatically and safely. I haven't completely achieved the second goal yet (problems with a special case where one file is added to the library from two different paths), but automating the process allows preservation & amalgamation of ratings, play counts, playlist membership which just isn't possible by hand. Hi,
It is advisable to Set "PO:Workflow Processing Mode" profile option to "Background" which is a default value
If you set it as Online, it completes an entire approval workflow process before letting you proceed to the next activity, but provides you with an updated Status (for purchase orders) as soon as it finishes.
When this profile option is set to Background, you must start the Workflow Background Engine, which you access through the System/application Administrator responsibility. It is recommended that you set this process to run frequently (Schedule), if you are using it for Background mode approvals.

In order to do that you have to explain how your solution works.
How is the workflow started? The date should be passed in the workflow container, and you should thus add a new importing container element for it. Alternatively, if the previous is not feasible, can you assume that the workflow is started the same date (or with a fixed offset) as the file is created. If so you can set the date in the workflow instead of passing it as a parameter.
The date will of course have to be passed on to your step, and from your step to the BOR method you execute. This however, is just a matter of binding and importing elements, and I assume you are able to solve that on your own.
What is this report you have mentioned? SAP standard? I assumed it wasn't. If it is a customer report, you will of course need a new selection screen parameter, and when your BOR method submits the report (or alternatively calls the transaction) the date must be passed as one of the parameters.
Hope that helps, but if it doesn't you have to be MUCH more specific in your questions. You have to explain what you are trying to do and what your starting point (current solution) is.
