DW8 file - TMP9yo6jdha0c.htm

DW has created a "TMP9yo6jdha0c.htm" file in my site files
tree which will not open, nor can I delete it. Anyone know what
this is? Do I need to be concerned about it?

It's a temporary file. Normally, such files shouldn't show up
in the
Files panel. Dreamweaver automatically cleans them up when
they're no
longer needed.

Unable to load file login_page.htm

Good afternoon:
I've installed a UCM 10g for a proof of concept and everything was working fine until today when the login page has disappeared. When I got to the UCM web page everything is ok until I try to login, I get this error:
Unable to load file login_page.htm: File c:/oracle/ucm/server2/data/users/login_page.htm is not present.
I don't know where the login page go, it's not there. Yesterday it worked ok.
What can I do? please any help....
More info:
Using windows XP SP2, IIS 5.1, Oracle XE as database.

Well, the only way to fix this error was to install a new server.

Unable to find the file NavGuide.htm

I installed some extensions yesterday, and promptly uninstalled them again. Now I am getting the following message:
Unable to find the file NavGuide.htm in the Confirutration/Floaters directory. The floater will not be shown.
Any suggestions on what config file I need to clean up that removing the extension didn't clean up for me?

Well, Adobe support got back to me with a quick and easy solution to reset the configuration
settings:
1. Quit Dreamweaver.
2. Rename the Configuration folder in the "Users\[user]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS4\(installation language)\" folder.
3. Open regedit and delete the whole "HKEY__CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS 4" key.
4. Restart Dreamweaver and it will be like a new installation.
This would obviously loose any other configuration, but would also work to fix any other extension clean up issues. The nice thing was that the extension manager still showed my old extension as installed, just not active so I didn't have to redownload them.

When i save something, it is saved as a file and htm. i never had this with internet explorer. how do i just save as i would presume htm?

Are you talking about IE's MHT or MHTML format for saving webpages in a single file format?

An FTP error occurred - cannot put [file name.htm]. Dreamweaver encountered an internal data error

I get the message “Server not responding” whenever trying to add files to my web site via DW. The following message appears: "An FTP error occurred - cannot put [file name.htm]. Dreamweaver encountered an internal data error. Please try the operation again."
I called the hosting service provider, and they said they were able to upload a 20 mb document with no problem. I was also able to upload a document using Filezilla.
Therefore, the problem must be with DW.
When I go to Manage Sites and choose my site and get to the Test Connection button, the test is successful, which further confuses the issue.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

It is possible it is a host issue but because they use a higher level account to test that they do not see the error.

Purpose of file "Connection_php_mysql.htm"

When you create a database connection in Dreamweaver, the
resulting file contains a line:
"# FileName="Connection_php_mysql.htm"
What is the purpose of this line of code? Is it just a point
of reference where you would change the value to the name of the
file html file that calls the connection script?

i don't really know why DW generates this line but is just a
coment, you
don't need to do anything with it
and BTW, the connection script is referenced in a .php page,
not a .html

DW8 files not displayed properly in DW CS3

Any help will be greatly appreciated in the following
question:
I've been using Dreamweaver 8 successfully in creating and
maintaining several websites. However, when I try to use the newly
purchased Dreamweaver CS3 on HTML files previously created on DW8,
the files are not displayed properly (all elements are jumbled up
together in the "Design" view). But, when I do a "Preview in
Browser", the pages are just fine.
Has any other DW user had similar experiences and if so, any
solutions?

DWCS3 is much less tolerant of code mistakes than was DW8,
and your symptoms
suggest that this may be the cause of your problems. Do the
DW8 pages
validate when you go here -

I try to learn how to present my data anywhere by using labview remote front panels. I use PCI-mio-16E-4 device to acquire data. After I start web server and try to save to as *.htm file, I got the "DMA hardware error detected" message. Can anyone help me to solve the problem. Thanks.

Failure saving file (myVI).html

I get this error message when I try to print my vi documentation as an HTML file. Anyone else and how can I fix it?

Zzxc: I am having problems with Firefox and a Google gadget score board on my Google home page. Every time I go to my Google homepage, a file called "scores.htm" downloads into my Firefox download. I can have at least 50 of those files downloaded over t

Do this automatically for the files like this one.
I chose cancel and when I rebooted the Google page the same window came up.
I don’t want to open with or it will open with something every time I come back to Google.
The best option until this is resolved is to “Save File” and that continues to down load into the “Download Firefox” folder.

When I go to my Google page with the sport scores gadget on, Firefox download, in the downloads window a file "scores.htm" everytime. Consequently I have 10's if not 100's over time of scores(1), (2)(3).htm respectively. How do I stop it?

Mail 8.1, attachments in outlook are showed with ATT00001.htm files

At my work I use Mac and Mail 8.1 app. Everyday I send attachments to Outlook users and they see with attachment files ATT00001.htm. If I send 10 attachments outlook users see 20 attached files - 10 of them trash files like ATTxxxxx.htm. Before upgrading to Mail 8.1 I was using add-ons to Mail app like Universal Mailer http://universalmailer.github.io/UniversalMailer/download.html

We have the same problem in the office too since the update to Mac OS X Yosemite and Mail 8.2. We are using Microsoft Exchange. Every mail we send from Apple Mail will have an attached .html file after every attachment. This is especially bad when there is still some text after the attachment, because this text will be moved into the .html file too so no receiver will ever read it.
Looks like a similar problem was already existing some years ago:
Mail attaches an HTML file for each file that I attach
It seems as I could solve the problem though installing the Universal Mailer mentioned above.

Where are webutil htm files located?

Hello,
I am doing tests with webutil with Ids9.
According to the documentation - I am supposed to find 3 htm files (webutiljini.htm,webutiljpi.htm,webutilbase.htm) in the server directory of webutil, but I can only find webutiljini.htm.
Any idea where the other ones are hiding ?

This is the bug in the doc. Since we only support with Jinit at the moment, there is only one file.

When I reload an HTM page using a SWF file like a   menu, the HTML page doesn't shows the SWF again!

Dear Sirs,
I hope to be directing my question into the correct forum's place.
I'm new in flash and I'm trying to make some tests
My problem is the following:
I included one SWF file into 3 HTM pages.
This SWF works as a little menu.
The SWF file (named "menu.swf") contains 3 items working as command buttons to access the three different HTM pages
Each HTM page contains the same "menu.SWF" file, some HTML text and one picture.
The swf contains:
Button 1 -> calls page1.htm using:
            on (press) {
            getURL("./page1.htm", "_top");
Button 2 -> calls page2.htm using:
            on (press) {
            getURL("./page2.htm", "_top");
Button 3 -> calls page3.htm using:
            on (press) {
            getURL("./page3.htm", "_top");
When I enter to "page1.htm" it appears correctly showing the swf file and all the HTML text.
It is OK.
But when I'm in "page1.htm" and I click on "Button1" (to reload "page1.htm") the only thing that I can see (after reloading page1) is the HTML text and the picture, but I cannot view the "menu.swf" file.
"menu.swf" remains in its place, but "invisible".
You can click on its command buttons, but anytime I click on the button that loads the same page (for example: "Button 1" to reload "page1.htm") the
swf file(s) doesn't appears.
The same thing happens when I'm in page 2 with Button 2 to reload page2 .htm, and so on.
How can I do to solve this problem?

The path in the buttons is not correct once you navigate to the htm page.
So here you are on the landing page and the menu button says to get to "page1.htm" go up one folder level (../) to the file page1.htm.
Now once you are up one level, either you loose access to the .swf because from that page the path to the .swf is not correct, or if the .swf does show, then the path in the buttons back to the other pages is not correct, because you are now one folder level higher.
If I am mis-reading your post and all pages are in the same folder, then remove the "../" part before the page name in the URL. Or perhaps you are using ./ to denote the current directory... I'd still suggest removing it. So the the getURL would look like this :
getURL("page1.htm", "_top");
if all pages are in the same folder.
And if I am reading your post correctly, then you cannot use the same button URL to get to ("./page1.htm", "_top"); and once on page1.htm use that same URL to get back down to your landing page.
So I'd say it's a pathing problem.
Give that a try and see if it helps.

How do I open an htm file with Firefox 3.6.14?

I have downloaded a photo with file extension htm. It suggests only Firefox. When I double click on the download it just opens a Facebook page which I can't open it from

Did you make sure by checking the Properties via the right-click context menu that the file didn't end up with a name like image.jpg.html because Windows was hiding the file extension and kept the original .html file extension?

Opening a .htm file in acrobat reader?

I downloaded a adobe file from a site I trust and it shows the adobe logo and states I need adcrobat reader to open... so I download the most receint version of reader and then download the file when it downloads it shows the file as ".htm" and when I try to open theis file in acrobat it says it is the wrong file type or is corrupted.....
how do I get this to open???
p.s. not that I think of it I have not been able to open any files in acrobat reader in a very long time so I kind of quit useing it..... until now but could there be any other problem that causes this?

It "could" be a dynamically generated PDF (one that doesn't exist until you click on the link) and something is wrong on their end. But Reader isn't causing it to become an .html file. Something on the site or with your browser is doing that.
Again, it's hard to say without actually being able to go to that link. The image you posted doesn't tell us much other than you should be getting a PDF after clicking on that link.
