Dynamic List - Error processing insertText tag: 'loop' parameter arrays must be...

Hi, I'm using Dreamweaver CS3 and ADDT (PHP/MySQL).
I have many forms that I created with "Create Dynamic List Wizard", and All it's working fine until now, suddendly when I enter an any form, click Application / Server Behaviors, I saw a red symbol "!" next to Dynamic List Layout, I clicked it in order to make any changes, and then when I tried to save I got the following error message:
"Error processing insertText tag: 'loop' parameter arrays must be the same length. The 'loop' parameter 'tableCSSWidth' does not have the same length as the previous 'loop' parameter(s)."
This is happening with others form in my application. I can made some changes through "code", but others no...
I would like to know what its' happening with then "dynamic List" server behavior?
I appreciate your help. Thanks!
Ernesto

Hello Ernesto,
Please follow these exact steps:
- go to this location on your disk (enable view of hidden files):
- "c:\Documents and Settings\XP_user\Application Data\Adobe\Dreamweaver 9\Configuration"
( if you are on Windows OS)
or:
- "Macintosh HD:Users:MAC_User:Library:Application Support:Adobe:Dreamweaver 9:Configuration"
( if you are on MAC OSX)
- rename the "Configuration" folder to "Configuration_old"
- open Extension Manager and remove all extensions
- install Developer Toolbox extension
- start DW and check if the problem still occurs

Ionut

  • Dynamic List Wizard error - can't connect to recordset or table

    I'm using Windows Vista, CF 8, and DW CS3.
    I have just started working with the Dynamic List Wizard and cannot get it to work. I have tried both options: get data from recordset, and get data from table. When I click on "finish" I get the following error message: Please select a connection that contains tables for updating, or click cancel.
    Everything appears to be good to go. I've refreshed my recordset, my database connections, etc. Has anybody else had this issue and what is the workaround?
    Also, is there a tutorial out there ANYWHERE for this part of the extension? Interakt had such great Flash demos ... what's up with Adobe? No Flash demos for this extension?
    Thanks!

    Backing up to a third-party NAS with Time Machine is risky, and unacceptably risky if it's your only backup. This is an example of what can happen. If the NAS doesn't work, your only recourse is to the manufacturer (which will blame Apple.)
    If you want network backup with Time Machine, use as the destination either an Apple Time Capsule or an external hard drive connected to another Mac or a mini-tower (802.11ac) AirPort base station. Only the 802.11ac base station supports Time Machine, not any previous model.

  • SQL query alias names errors with dynamic lists

    Hullo,
    Problem:
    - Made a query form book database. Have authors in separate table with unique ID's referring to them on book table.
    - Query fetches author name in "Surname, Firstname initial.Secondfirstname initial" format, --> like "Bukowski, H.C" and giving that combo alias name in SQL like "AS 'author'"...
    - Dynamic list works fine at start, but when ordered from detail table back to the mainlisting, it does make an error with SQL stating "unknown column 'author' in where clause"
    That must be because the script looks for "author" column from the original table yeah, but how can I solve this? Any ideas? Does this mean that Alias names for columns are not possible or is there something i've missed?
    Any ideas, suggestions?
    Thanks,
    KimmoK

    Hi Kimmo,
    ADDT´s dynamic lists can handle alias columns fine to my experience, but I reckon that you most probably applied the "CONCAT(...) AS author" query modification after having generated the list, and the list´s internal WHERE clause seems to have no clue of this alias column.
    You can get an idea about using alias columns in Dynamic Lists in my tutorial "Dynamic Lists: exploring the Filter Conditions": http://www.guenter-schenk.com/tutorials/tutorial.php?id=6
    Can you please post the list´s code on your server as text file (e.g. code.txt) and provide a link to this file ?

  • Dynamic list and thumb loops

    hello I try to create a dynamique list with thums loops associates (to describe a stuff to sell) and it work fine when I select from a list (URL parametre)
    But I would like to navigate in my detail page (with the loop thumb) whit the next or last link and I cant do it because the thumbs doesnt works
    Some help ? thanks you all and sorry for my french

    Hi Lorie,
    Taking it a step further
    interesting that you´re mentioning this -- because I was just in the middle of finding a workaround for the very same issue ;-)
    I actually did find a pretty easy solution, which basically goes like this:
    1) wrap the whole table *plus* any possibly added hidden fields located below this table in a "Show IF conditional region" behaviour -- but make sure to *not* include the buttons within the "KT_bottombuttons" div in here.
    2) as I assume that your "supplier_name" column holds a numeric value which equals the user´s "kt_login_id" Session Variable (which it should !), define the following conditions for the "Show IF conditional region" behaviour:
    Expression 1: choose "supplier_name" from the tNG recordset
    Condition: ==
    Expression 2: choose Session -> kt_login_id
    3) tick the Has ELSE option
    4) confirm with OK
    5) replace the default "has Else" message with something meaningful like "you can´t edit this record !"
    Switching to Code view and navigating to the very start of your "Show IF conditional region" should display something like this:
    if (@$row_rsqueryname['supplier_name'] == @$_SESSION['kt_login_id']) {
    When viewing the modified Dynamic Form in a browser, you´ll note that this solution will indeed display the form instances for all "authorized" records, whereas those form instances which don´t match the required credentials will be replaced with that "has else" message.
    BUT !! This solution has one major drawback which I haven´t been able to resolve yet :: when the Dynamic Form goes into Insert Record mode
    (means when you click the "add new" link in the Dynamic List), all inner form instances will display that "has else" message.
    The only workaround I currently can come up with is to have the List´s "add new" link point to a separate "add_new.php" page that´s going to insert a single record.

  • Error in adding dynamic list in site studio

    When i add a dynamic list to my page in site studio and view it in my browser, i don't get results. When i look in the logs i see following error:
    Parsing error at character 68 in query: "((dExtension <matches> `doc`) <and> (xWebsites <contains> `intranet`)) <and> <not> (xDontShowInListsForWebsites <contains> `intranet`)" Query operator hasAsWord does not exist
    I only add de dExtension <matches> 'doc' THe rest is generated i guess.... How can i resolve this error?

    Well, the problem is solved.
    I hadn't installed the DBSearchContainsOpSupport component. Because of that, i hadn't any fields in the Zone fields witch lead to the error.
    WHen i installed and configured that component, i worked.

  • 'Unallowed tags or dynamic code' error on a page without these...

    Hi,
    I've been using InContext Editing for a few sites now and my clients have been very happy with it, but I have a new site that's having problems on just one page.
    http://www.windhampilates.com/index.php
    I've enabled ICE on the text areas below the main photo and nav bar, as I have on other pages. There are a few scripts running on this page, but the only difference on this page from the rest of the site is the rotating image at the top of the page.
    Ironically, I've used this same script on previous sites where I've used ICE and they've worked without any problems. Am I missing something?
    Really and truly appreciate  your help!
    - MaryAnn

    I can login, and try to edit, but the system won't save my changes and gives me the 'unallowed tags or dynamic code' error as the reason why it can't save the changes.
    I tried removing the jquery in the header, but that didn't seem to work:
    http://www.windhampilates.com/index-testjqueryerror.php
    I still can't get the edits to save and it's still giving me the same message.
    The only other non-static elements on the page are the newsletter subscription script and the Facebook link, but I have these on other pages and we can edit those pages without issue.
    Any other ideas?
    Thanks for your help!

    You must register CFX custom tags in the CF Administrator.
    Until you do, they will not be found by the server. That's what the

  • Cp leads to  "error processing extended attributes: Argument list too long"

    With certain PDF files to which I've added a lot of extended attributes (using Skim.app, a PDF reader/annotator which stores its notes in extended attributes), Chronosync and Finder drag-drops don't preserve extended attributes like they're supposed to (i.e. the notes aren't viewable on copies of the document). When I use cp to do they copying, the following message appears in system.log:
    error processing extended attributes: Argument list too long
    Googling it returns no results

    Hi Derick,
    error processing extended attributes: Argument list too long
    I have no idea why you get this error when copying a file...
    There is a max size for each extended attribute (about 3800bytes), and if I try to create (by using a simple C program) an attribute larger than this limit then I get "Argument list too long" error. But in your case you are trying to make a copy of an existing PDF file whose extended attributes should be smaller than the limit, of course (Skim has no magical power of creating an attribute larger than the limit; if the note is too large then I guess Skim just splits the note into two or more attributes).
    Q1: do you get the error only if you (try to) copy a PDF file with large notes? or you also get the error for a file with only small notes? How about a PDF file with many small notes?
    Q2: are you copying the PDF file to external volumes? If so, are you sure it is HFS+? What happens if you copy the PDF file to the same internal disk volume, for example
    cp your.pdf tmp.pdf

  • List processes in a Loop

    Hello,
    I'm looking for a way to list the processes on my client with a delay of 2 seconds for each process. This is the reason why I cannot use Get-Process. Maybe as a do oder foreach loop.
    Greetings
    Uemit

    If you really want to get a process at a time that's doable in the way that jrv said:
    Get-Process | ForEach-Object {
    #Do whatever you want with $_
    Start-Sleep 2
    This works because the each object retrieved from Get-Process (in this case the object is the process itself) is immediately passed over the pipeline. After all that's the whole point of the pipeline, that you don't have to store the whole object[] retrieved
    by whatever comes before the pipeline into memory.
    You can confirm this by doing the following:
    function TestFunc
    BEGIN {Write-Host "Starting"}
    PROCESS {Get-Process Sv*}
    END {Write-Host "DONE"}
    TestFunc | % {$_; Sleep 1}
    When you run it, this is what you get:
    Starting
    Handles NPM(K) PM(K) WS(K) VM(M) CPU(s) Id ProcessName
    385 14 5636 4128 43 852 svchost
    138 13 2732 2448 30 4308 svchost
    DONE
    I removed a lot of the processes to trim the output down. Each of the processes is presented with a 1 second delay in between them and the DONE is only printed at the very end.
    You do need to keep a couple of things in mind though... You can only use this in a pipeline. A foreach loop would not work, as demonstrated here:
    function TestFunc
    BEGIN {Write-Host "Starting"}
    PROCESS {Get-Process sv*}
    END {Write-Host "DONE"}
    foreach ($i in TestFunc)
    $i
    Start-Sleep 1
    This would output the following:
    Starting
    DONE
    Handles NPM(K) PM(K) WS(K) VM(M) CPU(s) Id ProcessName
    385 14 5636 4128 43 852 svchost
    138 13 2732 2448 30 4308 svchost
    You can see that the end block got executed before we started seeing our objects come through, which means at that stage we're already processing an array of objects instead of dealing with each one individually.
    Also, even if using the pipeline, you cannot use CmdLets that must have a full collection of objects before being able to run themselves. i.e.:
    Get-Process | Sort-Object Handles | % {$_; Start-Sleep 1}
    Would again return:
    Starting
    DONE
    Handles NPM(K) PM(K) WS(K) VM(M) CPU(s) Id ProcessName
    385 14 5636 4128 43 852 svchost
    138 13 2732 2448 30 4308 svchost
    The reason for that is because the Sort-Object needs to first collect all of the objects from the previous CmdLet before it can start a sort and it will not relinquish any objects to the next command in the pipeline until it's completed its execution.
    Hope this helps.

  • Calling Synchronous process in a loop

    Hi
    I am facing a problem while I am tring to call Synchronous process in a loop. I am having a parent process that fetch batches numbers (list of batches) and loop for each of them and call a child Synchronous process to do some activity.
    the issue here is that the output variable on the process is taking the value that returns from the first batch call and keep repeating it for all the rest batches. I tried to initialize it to null every time I am entring the loop but strangly it has been overrided with the output variable of the first batch and then for the rest it just initialized to null and not had been overriden.
    any body face this before or knows about it
    thanks and best regards,
    Baraa

    This is Arun (working with Baraa in same Company)
    Let me eloborate the situvation
    Facing problem while I call a Sync process from an Async process using while loop.
    When I call sync child multiple times from a parent process using a While loop the response msg from child process is not correct.
    Meaning for instance let say
    Parent process : P
    Child processes : C1, C2, C3     (assuming the loop goes for three iteration)
    The expected response msg of the individual process where
    C1: 10000
    C2: 999
    C3 :           (null)
    But when I go through the audit of the parent process I could see all responses as 10000, meaning the response of the child process is not getting reflected in Parent process correctly
    Whereas when I inspect individual child process response; I could see the correct values.
    Note: I am using End Point Reference technique to call the child process
    Any Idea.
    Requirement:
    Parameter: Source System Name
    (this parameter decides which child to call, basically this will be the SERVICE on WSDL pointing to the child process)
    A parent Async process has to call a Sync child process “n” number of times (“n” get derived at run time) WHILE loop
    The parent will decide which child process to call at runtime (Dynamic call using EndPointReference)
    Some thing like below:
    <Set END POINT REFERENCE>
    <WHILE>
    Invoke Child (synchronize process)
    <END LOOP>

  • Site to Site VPN Setup: Error processing payload: Payload ID: 1

    Hello,
    I am currently getting the error Error processing payload: Payload ID: 1 when attempting to connect an old RV082 (local) to an ASA5520 (in lab). I'm not really sure what is causing this, going through what I've found via Google hasn't really helped much and I was hoping one of you could point me in the right direction.
    I've attached a screen grab of the RV configuration and below is an (abridged) copy of the running config from the ASA. Any and all help would be amazing, I'm sure it's something simple that I'm overlooking but I just don;t have the experience with Cisco gear to nail it down.

    I am using CR2008 with VB2005. I created simple application which generate report on different SQL Server 2005 databases.
    Report uses OLE.DB connection to SQL Server, I pass logon information in VB using "SA" username and password. The same simple report works great on different databases with one exception: if parameter (dynamic list of values) is used in report it runs correctly only on database it was created (connection to this database is saved in report and can be seen in Database->Set Datasource Location). Changing connection to other databases in VB during runtime causes CR to ask for username and password (in standard parameter window). It looks, like Crystal have one connection for report and the other for dynamic list of values parameter. I pass connection information to report using ConnectionInfo(). I loop through alll tables in report and apply connection:
    For Each crTable In crTables
                    crTableLogOnInfo = crTable.LogOnInfo
                    crTableLogOnInfo.ConnectionInfo = crConnectionInfo
                    crTable.ApplyLogOnInfo(crTableLogOnInfo)
    Next
    I tried to pass connection information also to parameter but I couldn't find such possibility.

    This is a known issue (Tracking number is ADAPT01333806.) and a note has been written,  unfortunately it is not yet published. Below is the note content, including a work-around / resolution. You may also want to try FP 2.3, see that helps. (I'll break this post into two as I'll loose the formatting if I don't.
    Reproducing the Issue
    Use Crystal Reports 2008 SP2 to create a report with dynamic parameter(s)
    Use the following code from the Crystal Reports SDK for VS .NET
    Dim crDatabase As Database
    Dim crTables As TablesDim crTable As Table
    Dim crTableLogOnInfo As TableLogOnInfo
    Dim crConnectionInfo As ConnectionInfo
    crReportDocument.Load("<path>")
    crReportDocument.Refresh()
    crConnectionInfo = New ConnectionInfo()
    With crConnectionInfo
         .ServerName = "<New Server Name>"
          .Password = "<password>"
    End With
    crDatabase = crReportDocument,Database
    crTables = crDatabase.Tables
    For Each crTable In crTables
         crTableLogOnInfo = crTable.LogOnInfo
         crTableLogOnInfo.ConnectionInfo = crConnectionInfo
         crTable.ApplyLogOnInfo(crTableLogOnInfo)
    Next
    CrystalReportViewer1.ReportSource = crReportDocument
    The above code works with Crystal Reports 2008 SP 1

  • Address list error -- 5.7.1 Relaying not allowed

    Hi,
    We have setup the Java Messaging Server to send/recieve mails from a gateway. The inbound mail flow works perfectly but, the outbound mail flow has issues.
    The outbound mails are not hitting the gateway. When checked the log for outbound mail, it displays the address list error - 5.7.1 Relaying not allowed for any domain i.e gmail.com, etc

    =========================================================================Do we have to make any changes on other config files except the imta.cnf and mappings file for inbound and outbound..
    thanks for any help
    Edited by: prasad0_0 on Jul 8, 2008 4:58 AM

    i have already setup the messaging server 6 months back.. followed the same procedure to route mails to a gateway..
    made changes to the imta.cnf for outbound mail flow to the tcp_local and mappings file to accept inbound mail flow from the gateway. Its working perfectly on the older setup, but this now, have issues with new setup.
    here is the imta.cnf file..

  • How to use dynamic list box in survey builder?

    Hello,
    Could someone give me a little bit of thread? How to use dynamic list box in survey builder?

    Hi Liu,
    Dynamic combo boxes::A combo box is dynamic if it references a document property for which a value set is defined in the configuration (System Administration ® System Configuration ® Content Management ® Global Services ® Property Metadata ® Properties ® Parameter Allowed Values).
    At runtime (when you open the creation form) the system reads these values from the configuration and displays them in the dropdown list.
    If you link a combo box for which list entries already exist to a document property with a value set, the system asks whether you want to delete the list entries. it is recommend that you accept this suggestion and delete the list entries from the XML Forms Builder. Otherwise inconsistencies could arise between the entries in the XML Forms Builder and the value set in the configuration. This can cause errors when saving.

  • Exception Description: Unable to process XML tag [driver-class] with value

    Hi
    I'm newbie with TopLink. I try to write a litle application with TopLink:
    - First, I create a session.xml file:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <toplink-sessions version="11g Technology Preview 3 (11.1.1.0.0)" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
    <session xsi:type="database-session">
    <name>dbsession</name>
    <event-listener-classes/>
    <logging xsi:type="toplink-log"/>
    <primary-project xsi:type="xml">META-INF/tlMap.xml</primary-project>
    <login xsi:type="database-login">
    <platform-class>oracle.toplink.platform.database.oracle.Oracle10Platform</platform-class>
    <user-name>dev</user-name>
    <password>F6A3DA7BA187330D4E11A713C42FF833</password>
    <sequencing>
    <default-sequence xsi:type="table-sequence">
    <name>Default</name>
    </default-sequence>
    </sequencing>
    <driver-class>oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver</driver-class>
    <connection-url>jdbc:oracle:thin:@//10.10.10.31:1521/devdb1</connection-url>
    <bind-all-parameters>false</bind-all-parameters>
    <struct-converters/>
    </login>
    </session>
    </toplink-sessions>
    - Second, I create a Java Application ( Application1.java):
    package project2;
    import java.sql.ResultSet;
    import java.sql.ResultSet;
    import java.sql.SQLException;
    import java.util.Vector;
    import oracle.toplink.queryframework.DataModifyQuery;
    import oracle.toplink.queryframework.SQLCall;
    import oracle.toplink.queryframework.StoredProcedureCall;
    import oracle.toplink.sessions.DatabaseSession;
    import oracle.toplink.sessions.Session;
    import oracle.toplink.tools.sessionconfiguration.XMLSessionConfigLoader;
    import oracle.toplink.tools.sessionmanagement.SessionManager;
    import oracle.toplink.util.SessionFactory;
    public class Application1 {
    public Application1() {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    // new Application1();
    String statement = "SELECT motdepasse,login FROM bou_courtier";
    SessionManager sessionmanager = SessionManager.getManager();
    System.out.println("test");
    // SessionFactory sessionfactory = new SessionFactory("META-INF/sessions.xml","dbsession");
    DatabaseSession session = (DatabaseSession)sessionmanager.getSession(new XMLSessionConfigLoader(),"dbsession",Thread.currentThread().getContextClassLoader());
    // Session session = sessionfactory.acquireSession();
    System.out.println("test");
    SQLCall sqlcall = new SQLCall(statement);
    session.executeNonSelectingCall(sqlcall);
    ResultSet rs = sqlcall.getResult();
    try {
    while(rs.next()){
    String strPass = rs.getString(1);
    String strLogin = rs.getString(2);
    System.out.println("Password :"+strPass+"---"+"Login :"+strLogin);
    } catch (SQLException e) {
    // TODO
    - Third, I build and run Application1.java in Jdevelopper 11g preview 3. Sadly, the result is a error:

    The internal error: "java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver"
    is stating it can't find your driver jar file on the classpath. You'll need to check that you've included your Database driver in the list of libraries on your classpath.
    Best Regards,
    Chris
