Dynamic users for FYI task

Hi,
I have a FYI at the last stage in my human task flow with help of
call CreateResourceList I can determine the desire user for sending the task (FYI) to him.
the problem is that based on some data in the payload some time I want to send the FYI to 1 user and in some cases I want to send the FYI to 2 users.
How can I do that? the CreateResourceList can send the task to only 1 user.

you can choose expressions when assigning owners to tasks.

Setting dynamic user in Approval task

While setting the user at runtime for approval task, I have created a Task Assignment adapter and associate the adapter in the assignment tab for the approval task. I have used reassignApprovalTasksToUser method of tcRequestOperationsIntf class. I have passed the task instance id as well as the user key. From the system console I am able to find that the adapter is invoked.
I have suppress the standard approval process using tcComplete task adapter.
When the requestor make the request and goto approval details page the system is showing the request is pending to the re-assigned user however when I login into the console using re-assigned user credential no request is pending in his work busket. What I observed, the request is pending in xelsysadm work busket.
Would appreciate if someone let me know the step which I am missing.

Yes, I suppressed the "Approve" Task in standard approval process.
Can you please let me know how to mapped the key type in the task assignment adapter.
I have created two variables in the adapter and mapped those two variables from the assignment tab of the approval task.
I have seen there are two more variables in the Adapters, "Adapter return value for Key type" and "Adapter return value for Key" and these two adapter variables are mapped as "Set at runtime".
How do I map these two variable?
No I do not find any exception with regard to execution of the task assignment adapter in the log.

Accessing payload for FYI task

Guys,
We have a BPM application. There is an FYI task in the applicaiton.
When am fetching the payload from the FYI task, it doesnt contain the payload which am looking for. Other normal human task works as expected. Only FYI task is not working.
Element taskDetails = task.getPayloadAsElement(); --- task is an instance of oracle.bpel.services.workflow.task.model.Task
NodeList payloadNodeList = taskDetails.getElementsByTagName("MyPayload");
But 'payloadNodeList' is empty (doesnt contain any nodes).
Not sure why its not working. Do i miss anything here?

Not sure if this helps, but I think we have the same architecture: a custom ADF tasklist instead of the default Workspace.
From Oracle BPM we use the SystemMessageAttributes to map certain key elements for our ADF tasklist.
While doing this it helps the ADF developers so they don't have to parse through the payload of the tasks to get this information for a worklist tasks overview.

Current User for a task Item

Hi,
I have created a sharepoint designer workflow for a document library and task is assigned to sharepoint group.
I want to update a column in document library with the user's name who approved the task from sharepoint group.
I tried with "Workflow Context:CurrentUser" but I didn't get correct value.
Can anybody help me out to resolve this issue?

Dynamic Mail trigger for IT0019 Tasks Reminder.

Hi PA Experts:
I have a requirement to trigger a dynamic mail (for the Tasks in IT0019) to the Personnel Administrator to remind the Tasks.
ex: A mail to be triggered by the system to remind the Administrator as and when the date arrives to followup with the various tasks (such as Probation Confirmation, Appraisal Due, Contract Expiry etc..). Here the mail to be sent to the SAP Inbox and Outlook as well.
Pls suggest how to configure.

There is no task in UWL when i assign expression as responsible for a task

I create a simple process BPM on Process Composer, there is a task and a service to start this process.
When i assign specify user for this task (e.x : ABC), i start process using the service, it's ok, there is a task is assigned to ABC.
But when i use expression to assign for the task, the value of this expression will be mapped with data i input when start process using the started service. There is no task on portal.
Please give me some advices,

Hi all,
i try to set an expiration policy for FYI Tasks using the Human Task Editor but it doesn't work where it works for other types.
can someone confirm that an expiration policy can be set for an FYI task?

GP API - remove user dynamically for a task..

I am having dynamic looping for an action, users assigned in every level.
I am able to add user dynamically for an action using:
rtm1.addRuntimeDefinedUserToRole(prInstance1, Next_Action, userJames, userContext1);
Change user does not work as it will work only for running actions or tasks, for pending one it will not
rtm.changeTaskProcessor(processInstanceID, activityInstanceID, currentProcessor, newProcessor);
remove user is not working for me? suggest me how to use this code?

I am calling the BG CO before my action. I need to remove the previous user.

but nothing is working.
any idea when we can use them? I think changeTaskProcessor will not work for pending tasks.
I am able to get the activityInstanceID from NWA -> GP Processes, but my GP Process is having dynamic loop where the task will generate depending on levels. How can we get the activityInstanceID of the next task/action?

I've started getting an intermittent error editing my Windows 7 OSD task sequence. Sometimes I can open the TS to edit, but when I try to apply changes I get the error. Other times I get the error when trying to open the TS. If I try again
right away, I still get the error, but if I wait a few minutes and try again sometimes it will open the TS.
The error reads:

I exported the task sequence and checked in "object.xml" for the "ApplyWindowsSettingsAction", to see if there was something odd in the xml, but I don't find anything that jumps out as being wrong. Here's the section of XML for

Thanks for sharing that! I tend to save contacting MS support until after I've exhausted other options. I'm always afraid that I'll spend the $500 to open a case and then it turns out to be something simple that I would have found if I had just
kept working on it myself a little longer.
It looks like that link is for an update released in February as KB3023562. I downloaded and installed it. I'll try opening/editing/saving the task sequence a few times today to see if the issue is resolved.
After I had already installed it, I thought to look up that update in configmgr. The update is listed as superseded by 2 other updates. The newest of those is KB3046049, which just installed last night with the other March patches, so it's possible
that I didn't need to install KB3023562 after all.

Dynamic User Group Role for ASA 8 ACS 4 External Windows DB

1. I've successfully got a Win2003 AD user to authenticate to the ASA via an ACS but the default group settings the dynamic user becomes part of don't get transfered to the user. How do I get the user to adopt the group settings?
2. ASDM recommends nabling authentication for admin console sessions so you don't ssh into a box then have to login as the enable password which isn't logged. When I check the box for this feature I can ssh to the ASA but my password is denied ASA. How do I keep the user credentials all the way to the privilege exec mode?
3. Back in the day I could configure the ACS shell, privilege 15, custom attributes cisco-av-pair "priv-lvl-15" to get a user to jump directly to privilege exec mode. This doesn't work now. Is there a different way to do this on ACS v 4?

Try this:
aaa authentication enable console
aaa authorization command
on ACS go to the user or group that the user is in and go to enable options and click on "Max Privilege for any AAA client" and set it to "15". Then go to the "tacacs+" section on click on "Shell(exec)" and click on "Privilege leve" and enter 15. Then go to the "Shell command authorization set" and set the default to permit any commands not listed. This will get the user into privilege mode. In ASA/Pix it requires command authorization and authentication for enable console. On IOS it requires that you use aaa authentication exec and then the aaa authorization exec/command. This will allow the user to go straight into privilege mode instead of user mode.

Dynamic tabs for the user who is logged in?

Hi!
Is it possible to create dynamically tabs for a TemplateTabContainer or JSPTabContainer during the time a user is logged in?
I know that it is possible for example with the dpadmin command or with the DSAME console but is there another way (for example a programming way)? I don't want to wait for the deployment. Also, it needs to many resources.
If yes do I have to extend this providers (TemplateTabContainerProvider) or is there a way to access on the right instance and can I use the methods? If yes , then which?
