Dynamically insert page breaks (runtime)

Hi,
I have 3 repeating frames within each other in Oracle Reports. In the 1st frame I have Product groups. I want to give the user the option (from Oracle Forms) to have all the product groups without page breaks or each product group on one seperate page.
I only found the "Maximum records per page" property but this can't be set in runtime. I also tried to put a boilerplate on the repeating frame and gave it the property "Page break before". It worked pretty well except on page 2 it repeated the first product group and on page 3 it repeated the second productgroup and so on.
Does anybody have a solution for my problem?

I did this long time back.
1. keep repeating frame with field(value null or line) with page break..
2. using Format Trigger show or hide this field.

Pivot Table, "Insert Page Break After Each Item" Setting Only Works for the First Item Change

I have a flattened pivot table generated from Powerpivot and I would like to insert a page break for each change in the row item.
When I use the pivot table Field Settings>Insert Page Break After Each Item, Excel inserts the first page break then returns to normal pagination for the rest of the output.
Is there another setting required to maintain the page breaks after the item change?

INSERT 'PAGE BREAK' AT CHANGE IN EACH TOTAL

Does anyone know a way of inserting a page break at each change in a total on a report, so when the report is printed it prints each section (i.e. each time it finds a total) on a separate page.
I also want to print the report title on each page if possible.
The disco. version I am using is 4.1

A 'total' on a report is based on a group item, e.g. By department, region, category, etc.
Make this group item a 'Page item' and you have a separate page for each group.

Can I insert Page Breaks in Acrobat X?

I've got a 1 page scanned document in Acrobat X Pro. I'd like to split it at a point I choose into a 2 page pdf file. Is that possible in Acrobat?
In say Word, I'd just insert a Page Break. I looked for a Page Break In Acrobat but couldn't find one. I did find Pages > Split Document but that splits on pages or bookmarks, so not really relevant to my problem. I could get the scissors out, cut the original piece of paper, and re-scan as 2 pages. But that isn't ideal for the volume I'll be handling in future.
I'm sure the gurus here will know a neat and efficient way of doing this - or know straightaway that it can't be done - or just point me to something really obvious that was there all along but I missed! Thanks for any input.

You cannot treat Acrobat as a word processor. But you can duplicate a page and crop the bottom on one page and the top of the other. The problem is there will be no reflowing of the rest of the document.

Set your view to "Print View" and you will see the individual pages. More pages will be added as you drag content away from the existing pages.
Arrange your content as you would like to see it printed. That's it. What you see is what will print.

Dynamic File - Page break

Hello,
Actually I'm quite new in Adobe Forms, but seems that I have a simple requirement.
I have a scenario that I receive a .tif file and need to show it in a container, using Adobe Forms.
No problems with this. I've created an Image Field and am passing the xstring to this parameter. This is working.
But I've came across a problem. In some cases, I might receive a .tif image with more than one page. In that case, I have one single xstring variable with all images. It's displaying only the first page.
As it's my first approach with this tool, I don't know if it's simple or if it's not possible.
Anyone can help me!?

I have requirement Like as follows
- In the Invoice Print Report I need to display “Invoice Appendix” On the Last Page of an Invoice.
- If I am running for multiple Invoices then Invoice Appendix should print on last page of each Invoice.
As I'm using XMLP 5.6.1, i'm unable to use <?start@last-page:body?> syntax. So i'm trying to achive this as i'm explaing below.

Pages '08 does not import MS Word Page-breaks

Pages '08 imports MS Word 2004 for Mac documents without the page-breaks.
I love the Mac interface and really want to stop using MS software. I was hopeful with all the good press about Pages '08. I downloaded the 30-day trial and immediately discovered this glitch.
I must be able to exchange 300+ page manuscripts with MS Office users. If Pages cannot import the page-breaks in these documents, it's a deal-breaker for me. I'm not going to go through and re-insert 300+ page-breaks everytime I have to edit and return a document.

I've had the same problem as Jeffrey ... but with Appleworks 6 documents. I can import a small amount of Appleworks pages with hard page breaks (Insert Page Break) but when I try to import the entire 300 pages of my manuscript into Pages '08 the page breaks move up and are not where they should be. Also, many of my large Appleworks text manuscript files (no graphics) will not open in Pages '08. On top of that, the line spacing in Pages is a big headache,. I still am unable to place 11 lines on the first page of each Chapter (as I have done before in Appleworks with no problem). Sometimes it will give me 11, next time it will be 12. Hitting return once often moves two lines of type rather than one. Very frustrating. I have followed instructions and even added styles with my own template. I also used "Exact" spacing of 24 pt with my 12pt type because using double spacing is not even close to what double spacing is in Appleworks using the exact same font (Times New Roman, 12pt w/ 24pt spacing.) Any help will be appreciated (before I go back to Appleworks).

Try using <xsl:attribute name="break-before">page</xsl:attribute> within a form field instead of using the split-by-page-break.
You can also use this <xsl:attribute name="break-after">page</xsl:attribute> depending on your requirement..

I insist : it is not possible with HTML to insert Page breaks. BUT, Tammie is right! You can use CSS (Cascade Style Sheet) to insert page breaks thanks to few lines of code in your HTML page.

Solution
To implement the solution, please execute the following steps:
1. Apply Patch 6165466 when it is released.
2. Test your report.
