Hi Ashutosh,
In BDC case, what you can do is use the "position button" instead of finding the number of lines on the table control.
Or else you can use call transaction with 'Options addition'
eg:
Call transaction parameters
      clear gs_options.
<b>      gs_options-defsize = 'X'. "Default size</b>
      gs_options-dismode = 'N'.
      gs_options-updmode = 'S'.
           call transaction 'VI02' using t_bdcdata
                                   "mode 'N'
                                 "update 'S'
                                 options from gs_options
                               messages into t_messages.
Please let us know why do you want to know the number of lines on the Table control.If the above answer doesn't satisfy you.

My screen.
I have designed table control by referring internal table without using wizard.
I have placed button inside of that table control.
my requirement is by clicking the button it ll show the value of the line inside of the table control.
I have used "get cursor...".
But the problem is "it ll show only the cursor value of the front screen, if suppose i scroll the value of table control at the time also, it ll show the cursor value of the screen, it ll not show the exact value of the cursor inside of the table control.

Copy of a line item in table control

Hi All,
Firstly, I have an invoice number on one screen 0050. When I enter one invoice number and ENTER, it'll take me to screen 0100 in which there is a table control having some 10 columns. This will be a display of the line items of that particular invoice number.
Now, in these columns 2 will be editable and all the rest non-editable. Now, based on some condition, when the user tries to save these entries after inputting some values into those editable fields, I need to make a copy of the same line (means with all same values).
Can somebody please tell me whether this is possible? I tried searching in SCN, but was not clear with some solutions.

HI,
You can use GET CURSOR LINE LINE_NO this will give you the sy-index so that you can read the itab like
read table itab index line_no. This is one option and second is if you have row selector.
read table itab with key mark = 'X'.

How to get First line item in Table control for BDC.

Hi,
I have a requirement while creating the return order from the reference Sales order for BOM.
Once I compare the line items and delete the items not to be returned, I want to read the first line item which in fact is header, to make some changes.
How to read this as cursor points to the last line item.

What is exactly unclear to you? =POPO will give a popup screen in which you can enter the order position number. This number will then be on the top of the table which means you can refer to it in BDC with "(01)".

WSo2 BDC to delete line item in table control

Hi all,
My requirement is to delete material from wso2 table control.
The only way to delete a line item in this table control is to select the line in table control and delete it.
The recording doesnt captures any selection of row.
Any input on how to caputre particular row ??

When i click on this line and then click on the detail button on the screen , it should take me to another screen and whatever I have entered in the table control should be transferred to the second screen .

* Read the data

Dynamically pick the table names in data flow task SSIS

Hi All,
I want to create a SSIS package which loads the data to a table on the other server every day. I have around 250 tables to load everyday and source and destination table names are available in a metadata table, table names have to read from the metadata
table and data should be loaded. Is there a way that we can configure the source and destination table names dynamically in Data flow task?
I am newbie to SSIS can any help with the solution for this problem.

You can do that, not a big deal. The underlying problem is say suppose you constructed a ETL based on some x source and y destination and have put x(3 columns) as source and y destination(3 columns).. As you said if we have choice of dynamically pick the
table names.. ETL might fail when you face below situation
source x(3 columns) destination y (4 columns) and there will be no mapping as it is dynamic. Sometimes mapping also fails even if the source and destination have same number of columns. If you still want to do... follow below steps:
Create two variables:
1.variable1 , datatype string
2.variable datatype string
take one execute sql task, pick your source table names dynamically as you desired from metadata table \
"SELECT sourcetblname as Res FROM @metadata WHERE ID=1" in sql statement and then go to name the result name as Res (I meant same as table alias) and map it to variablename1
And in variable2 go to expression and write "Select * from "+@[User::variable].. and this will be your constructed dynamic command for oledb destination.
And connect that execute sql task to (Data flow task)oledb source and choose data access mode as sql command with variable,and choose variable2. below is the diagram.

Header Details to be Printed only for the line item details.

I have the following requirement.
I have Page1 with the Logo, Header Window, Vendor Window, Send Invoice To, Delivere Invoice To and Main Window. Main Window Starts from the middle of the page. In the Page2 i have Logo, Header window and Main Window. In the Page3 i have only Main Window.
In the Footer of the Main Window i have Placed the Terms and conditions which should always be Printed in the New Page. So in the footer i have given a command "Go to New Page " and given the page as Page3.
The requirement is Logo,and Header Window should appear only for the Line items and not for the Terms and conditions.
For the Page1 i have given the Next Page as Page2. Suppose if there is only one line item then it Prints in the first Page itslef and the control flows to the Page2 and since in the page2 i have given the condition for the Logo and header window to print only if line item is more than 1 and since Main Window is starting from the middle there is a blank Space appearing in the start of the page.
The command i have given in the footer to trigger new page that is page3 is not getting triggered. If there are more than one line item then its printing the logo and header window and so there is no blank space appearing and it is working fine.
Please let me know how to avoid this blank space and move my main window to the start of the Page if there is only one line item.

I am a little bit confused regarding your query,

When you say footer of main window does it mean , that you are using a table inside your main window and the command node your have inserted is in the footer of the table ?.I hope it is, because my suggestion is based on this assumption.
Well my suggestion for your issue is,
1.I hope you are aware we can trigger a next page in two ways, one by setting the next page static attribute & second using the command node which you have used.In your case you will have to use a combination of both.
2.I feel your First page design is ok. Set its static next page attribute to PAGE2. Similarly set the static next page attribute for PAGE2 as PAGE2 itself. This should take care of your table which you have placed in the main window. If the table contains only one lineitem it will get over in the first page itself. If the lineitems are more in the table, it will automatically triggerPAGE2 (since static next page attribute for PAGE1 is PAGE2) and the remaining line items will be displayed. Now no matter how many lineitems you have ,PAGE2 will be triggered repeatedly(since static next page for PAGE2 is PAGE2 itself) until the entire data in your table is displayed.
In this way your requirement of printing the logo and header windows for the data lineitems only will be fulfilled.
3.Now the last catch in your case is the printing of PAGE3(The terms and condition page) on an entirely new blank page.
In the footer section of the table which you have used, use a command node set to PAGE3. After the command node and under the same footer section now insert your terms and condition lineitem.
Also Check the "at End of table" checkbox and uncheck " AT PAGE BREAK" under OUTPUT OPTIONS tab for the footer section.
So now this footer section will be triggered only once after all the data in the table is displayed
4. So now if there is only one lineitem, before the default second page is triggered the command node will trigger the PAGE3 and the terms and condition will be displayed.Else if there are more lineitems the page2 will be triggered again and again and finally when all the lineitems are over, the footer of the table will get triggered. So the command node will take you to the PAGE3 wherin the terms and condition will only be displayed.

Involved program components
System modifications for sales document processing affect different areas. Depending on the modification, you make the changes in the program components provided:
MV45ATZZ
For entering metadata for sales document processing. User-specific metadata must start with "ZZ".
MV45AOZZ
For entering additional installation-specific modules for sales document processing which are called up by the screen and run under PBO (Process Before Output) prior to output of the screen. The modules must start with "ZZ".
MV45AIZZ
For entering additional installation-specific modules for sales document processing. These are called up by the screen and run under PAI (Process After Input) after data input (for example, data validation). The modules must start with "ZZ".
MV45AFZZ and MV45EFZ1
For entering installation-specific FORM routines and for using user exits, which may be required and can be used if necessary. These program components are called up by the modules in MV45AOZZ or MV45AIZZ.

The user exits which you can use for modifications in sales document processing are listed below.
USEREXIT_DELETE_DOCUMENT
This user exit can be used for deleting data which was stored in a separate table during sales document creation, for example, if the sales document is deleted.
For example, if an additional table is filled with the name of the person in charge (ERNAM) during order entry, this data can also be deleted after the sales order has been deleted.
The user exit is called up at the end of the FORM routine BELEG_LOESCHEN shortly before the routine BELEG_SICHERN.
USEREXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION
This user exit can be used to modify the attributes of the screen fields.
To do this, the screen fields are allocated to so-called modification groups 1 - 4 and can be edited together during a modification in ABAP. If a field has no field name, it cannot be allocated to a group.
The usage of the field groups (modification group 1-4) is as follows:
Modification group 1: Automatic modification with transaction MFAW

A new field, VBAK-ZZKUN, should be included in table VBAK.

For a invoice for every new material a horizontal line will be drawen.After that for that material all new line item will be displayed than again a horizontal line should drawn.
In dynamic how i can know how many line item will be there for the particular material.

Dynamic setting of cell attributes in Table Controls

Hi everybody,
I would like to set dynamicly wheather a cell or a line in a Table Control is only for output or ready for input.
I know how it works with columns, but nothing is said about cells or lines.

Hi Olaf,
Basically this works the same for all fields. However for table controls you should do the 'LOOP AT SCREEN' (within routine modify_screen_line in the example code) within the LOOP/ENDLOOP over your table control:
LOOP AT   g_tc_itab
       INTO g_tc_wa
       WITH CONTROL tc_delivplant
       CURSOR tc_delivplant-current_line.
    MODULE modify_screen_line.
ENDLOOP.

How to limit the size of main window height according to the line items?

Hi,
In my requirement,I created one page with main window in smartforms....Suppose say main window can accomodate 40 line items.
I am getting 5 pages data.And in my last page ( ie 5'th page ) I will have only 20 line items.But for the remaing 20 line items,
it showing empty area .I dont want this empty area .I want that window size to be restricted dynamically to that 20 line items.I created widow with borders and one vertical line between the columns.....I created two columns.
Please I dont want any horizontal lines between the line items but I created one vertical line between the columns..
This is in Smartforms
Any right help would be appreciated.

                This problem is solved but I have the below another new problem.Can you pls help me in this regard.
            My requirement is to calculate the subtotal of a particular page and to print that subtotal
            at the end of each page.And this subtotal has to be carry forwarded as the first item of the next page(say page2).
            And again at the end of this page(page2) I have to print the subtotal and needs to carry forward this subtotal again on to
            the first item of the page3..
           My problem is I am doing it in a table.I am calculating the subtotal and displaying the subtotal at the footer of the table..
           In the footer again I am redefining table work area values with the text 'Subtotal' and subtotal Amount so that thinking
           that it would print as first line item on the next new page....
          But the problem is I am getting subtotal as 2'nd line item on each new page instead of first line item of each page.........
          Can anyone resolve this issue.........
          I dont want this subtotal to be printed on the last page since I am getting Total of all these subtotals.....
          Below is my required structure
Page 1.

Page2.(Required page2)

How to submit the values in the ztable to the line items

Hi everybody
Please give me the code to my task
I am having a Z Table with one field and with some certain records and i am having an unique value .
This unique value should be submitted in all the line items which are having the
Z table records.
Please help me and thanks in advance
