E-mail on 3 Mobile network...Help!!!

I'm wondering whether anyone have any idea or solution how to e-mail or access the net using 3 Mobile network Australia?...I have BB Tour but it seems like the phone doesn't have browser and the 3 Mobile helpline couldn't help because BB tour haven't officially launch yet in Australia. Any idea anyone whether is this the prob with the phone or the mobile network?...I'm new to BB. Thanks

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?
You must, in order to get the RIM push email functions you are looking for, as well as addtional BlackBerry data services such as the internet browser, Facebook for BlackBerry, BlackBerry Messenger, and much more.
So, call your carrier an inquire about having the BlackBerry Data Plan added to your account.
Good luck.

  • E mail on Simple Mobile network

Recently unlocked Storm 9530 from Verizon and elected to try Simple Mobile BB unlimited. Cannot use e mail on phone because, according to Simple, Verion has not released the service book for e mail on this phone.
Is there a solution to this issue other than pulling out my hair trying to pry information from Verizon ?
I appreciate any and all feedback. Thank you

    OK...here it is...as I said, not simple...
This process assumes that you have available a fully functioning (e.g., all BB Services) BB on the network you wish to run your non-supported (by that network) BB on. There is zero guarantee that this will work at all…but it is the only process I know for getting a non-supported BB to function on that carriers network.
    1)     On the non-supported BB:
    a)     Insert the desired network providers data plan SIM card into the non-supported BB and boot up
    b)     Allow the BB to register to the network
    c)     Remove default APN
KB05327Set the APN settings on the BlackBerry device
    d)     Shut down and take SIM out of the non-supported BB
    2)     On the supported BB:
    a)     Insert SIM into the supported BB (one that is fully supported by the carrier network) and boot up
    b)     Wait until the browser can be used
    c)     Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > Register Now (wait for message receipt)
    d)     Resend Service Books (via BIS, either on device or at carrier BIS site) (wait for message receipt)
KB15402How to send service books to the BlackBerry smartphone for BlackBerry Internet Service
    e)     Options > Advanced Options > Service Books
    f)      Hold ALT while typing "sbeb"
    g)     Should display "Legacy SB Restore Enabled" -- press OK
    h)     Tether and launch the RIM desktop manager (recommend most recent version):
    https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22
    i)       Perform a custom backup and back up only the service books (make note of the location and name of this IPD...it will be needed later)
KB23680How to back up and restore BlackBerry smartphone data using BlackBerry Desktop Software 6.0
    3)     On the non-supported BB:
    a)     Insert SIM into the non-supported BB and Power Up
    b)     Options > Device > Service Books
    c)     Hold ALT while typing "sbeb" -- press OK at prompt
    d)     Tether and launch desktop manager
    e)     Perform a custom restore, using the IPD file created in step 2.i above, restoring only the Service Book database
KB23680How to back up and restore BlackBerry smartphone data using BlackBerry Desktop Software 6.0
    f)       Untether and Battery-pull Reboot the non-supported BB (with power ON, remove battery, wait, insert battery, reboot)
    g)     If needed, enter required APN settings (we cannot know if they are required…many carriers do not require them…you can check the supported BB for the right settings)
    h)     If needed, check BIS email configurations and re-configure if needed.
With all of that, the non-supported BB should be good to go on your desired network with full BIS services (assuming you bought a plan that includes BIS of course!). If you are using BES, the same process should work as that is also just a matter of having the correct Service Books plus going through the activation process.
Keep that special IPD created in 2.i forever…if you ever remove the SIM from your non-supported BB and reboot, the necessary Service Books will be lost. You’ll have to do the restore again from that IPD in order to put the Service Books back in place. If your carrier ever starts supporting your model BB directly, then all of this will be moot!

  • HELP - IM UNABLE TO USE MY MOBILE NETWORK CONNECTION

guys i need your help. Im unabble to use my mobile network connection in spite of all the directives given by the various institutions. I was told by an expert that this has happened to a few BB10 users and that if I did not receive mobile network connection right after inserting my sim, there's no chance that I'll ever get to use my mobile network to browse . I am however able to use the wifi. Please reply help if you have any idea what i can do

so lond as i have credits, i should be able to browse with pay as you go.
Probably not, for the data plan.
You need to CALL them and MAKE SURE you have the data plan actually on your account, not just assume it.
And this has nothing to do with pins on the SIM card missing etc., since your SIM is actually working.

  • Outgoing mail server appears blocked by mobile network

I have already contacted Roadrunner to find out why the host name in the Outgoing Mail Server--mobile-smtp.roadrunner.com will not work.  They state that it should read mobile-server.roadrunner.com.  When I typed that in, it reverted back to the original phrase, and they said to get in contact with the mobile network.  There must be a block in it.  We tried a different port, however, that did not work either.  Has anyone had this problem?  I am receiving emails from roadrunner without incident.

Try deleting the account and selecting manual set up.  Also you can also try using an email app from the play store like k9 mail.

  • Mobile network state "connecting" but never connects...help please?

    Hi,
When I try to turn on 3G data on my Fascinate, it never connects. Under settings/about phone/mobile network state it just says "connecting" but never connects, and the "3G" icon never appears in the top right corner of the phone. I've tried toggling the airplane mode, turning off, then turning back on and toggling airplane mode off, but it didn't work.
I was wondering why I haven't received the 2.3 OTA update yet, and I guess it's because my data is not working.
    Any suggestions?
thanks for any help you can give!

Not to make it sound simplistic, but have you pulled the battery out? Shut off phone, pull the battery for 30 seconds, put the battery back in, and then turn it on.

hi I bought an America iPhone 5 and went on all mobile networks was blocked when I got home in Romania phone does not recognize any SIM not working sorry my english not good please can you help me

Ask the carrier in the US who the phone is locked to if they will unlock it for you - put an unlock request into that carrier.
Other than that and if they refuse to unlock it, then there is nothing you can do except buy a new phone.

Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync not working in Mobile Network – Blackberry Z10
I have set-up office email account in Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync this work only over office Wi-Fi not working outside of office Wi-Fi range. When I back to office all new e-mail loaded automatically. I have no problem with yahoo email setup in the same Z10 hand set work in both Wi-Fi and Mobile network. I have data plan with my carrier. Both emails were working in my previous Blackberry hand set Bold 9900. But with this New Z10 this become a problem
What could a the problem and I need help please

The URL you provided https://... does require SSL as it has a "s".
Have you tested the server OMA setup with a notebook or desktop (https://webmail.domain.com/OMA)?
You should receive a login prompt for username & password following by an Inbox listing of messages.
We used this step to verify server setup before configuring an iPhone. Lastly, we made certain that connectivity would work from outside or within our company by doing the following:
    1) created A record for webmail.domain.com to a public IP that route through the firewall on 443 to the Exchange server's private IP - this handles external traffice
    2) added an internal DNS record for webmail.domain.com to the private IP of the Exchange server.
This ensures that webmail.domain.com sync's to exchange from outside or from within the Enterprise.

  • BB 9330 - turning off mobile network data services causes BIS WiFi connection to change to not connected

    re: v. 6.0.0.719 bundle 3084 platform 4.4.0.560 update
    1. History.
    a. Received BlackBerry Curve 9330 out of the box with bundle 2333 installed (but missing Verizon Visual Mail Message app.) Installed BB Desktop Software on laptop, connected smartphone to PC, Attempted to install bundle 3084, but initialization apparently failed, phone still showing bundle 2333 installed and no VVM app. Browser app unable to connect to network. On second try was able to complete 3084 install. Still no VVM app. Now some times the browser connects, sometimes it does not. Browser not connecting appears to be BB software bug. VVM issue appears to be one for the service provider.
    b. Data service is currently Verizon BlackBerry Social Messaging Data Package which is suppose to have BlackBerry Internet Services via WiFi per Verizon FAQ doc.
    2. Problem. With an active WiFi connection the Browser app is not connecting via WiFi giving a error message that WiFi service is required.
Investigation found if mobile network data service was turn off in Mobile Network Options, the BlackBerry Internet Services connection status was changed from connected to "WiFi" to "not connected". Browser appears to work ok when mobile network data service is turned on. BIS connection to WiFi comes back on. Not sure at this point if web data is going via mobile network or WiFi.
I am wondering if other BB 9330 Verizon users are seeing the same symptoms.
    Bill
P.S. I could not find where to report this apparent software bug. So I hope is the right place.

If you have your Mobile Network as well as Wi-Fi turned on, your phone will default to the Wi-Fi for browsing (assuming you have a strong Wi-Fi signal).  Leaving both on will allow you to browse as well as receive calls and texts.
    I hope that helps you.

  • S860 and X2, Google not connecting on mobile network.

I live in Sweden. Had my S860 for 3 years and it has been working fine but some months ago it was not connecting on mobile network with crome and play store. Restart and it could work for some time the it was gone again. At the same time Hotspot, skype and OS update is working fine. Got a new sim card i november but it did not help. This was going more and more bad and finally it did not work at all. Tried to reverse OS a few steps back and still not working. So i tought that it was something to do with hardware. Now i bought a Vibe X2. Away from sweden for the moment (Saudi Arabia) but this one does the same when I try to connect. OS update working but Crome says ssl error and Play Store just wont connect. Saw some forums said it might be time and date that was wrong so i tried to change to local format but it was the same. My S860 i was waiting for 6 month before i could buy it (not for sale in Sweden) in Saudi. Haas been very pleased with it so now when it has been messing with me i had no problem to buy a new Lenovo phone. This time just waiting 3 month before i could buy it in Saudi. Hope this is something I can get some help to solve. /Nils

  • Airplane Mode/ Mobile Network Access

    BlackBerry Z10 10.0.9.2372
Please create quicker access to the mobile network radio toggle. When putting my phone I'm a locker or entering somewhere with poor coverage, my battery kills itself trying to find a signal. It would be much easier if a user could swipe down (to pull the rotation lock, alarm, settings, etc) and have one of the option be airplane mode or at least mobile network, like the older OS had. Thank you!

    Hey VinniDeLaTorre,
    Thanks for the feedback.
There is a setting for Airplane Mode, it is located under Settings>Network Connections.  If you use this feature it will save on the battery life so your BlackBerry Z10 doesn't looking for any network connections.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
    Cheers.

  • HT5957 Since upgrade to 7.0.2 no longer able to connect to my mobile network - sim card not recognised

Quite simply as described above.   Upgraded to 7.0.2 this afternoon.   All was fine until I restarted phone in a place where I know mobile coverage is weak.   Since then I've been unable to connect to my mobile network, my sim card doesn't seem to be recognised by my iPhone 5 and I can't return to a previously reliable configuration because I can't switch off Find My iPhone from the device.   Help!!

  • Unable to access Internet using a Mobile Network

    Hello friends
I recently updated my SE Xperia mini pro 17i (2011 model) to ICS, initially there were some issues and I had to re-update it to finally get authentic interface of ICS. Even after the successful update I am unable to use the mobile network to access Internet, the only way  is to use a Wifi instead. Can somebody please help me out with this issue?
    Karan

The first thing I would advise doing is contacting your current network provider and have them send you through the relevant internet settings.

  • Videos application using mobile network. A bug?

    Hey everyone,
I seem to have come across some questionable behavior regarding the Videos application.
    Here's the problem:
I have an iPhone 6 running iOS 8.2 (12D508) with a subscription with T-Mobile Netherlands.
Earlier this year I bought an Harry Potter movie in the iTunes store to watch on my television using Apple TV. (bought it through Apple TV)
Naturally, through iCloud, the movies shows up on my phone as well. When I want to watch it I get the message
I need to be connected to a Wi-Fi network in order to download / watch the movie.
If I am connected to a Wi-Fi network I can watch the movie. If the connection with the Wi-Fi network drops
I get a message I cannot continue to watch the movie until I connect to a Wi-Fi network.
However, in the background the entire movie is downloaded / buffered using the cellular network.
In my case this has resulted in a pretty hefty phone bill.
To me, this behavior seems like a bug. If watching a movie is not possible using the mobile network, then surely buffering should
    not be happening as well.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues and / or has Apple acknowledged this as a bug? Or is this 'working as intended'...
    /Maarten

Do you have the small BlackBerry logo just to the left of the signal strength bars in the upper right corner? I suspect there is a problem with your BIS account with your carrier. You should call them to ensure all is in order with your BIS.
    I hope that helps you.
