E61 BLUETOOTH CONNECTION IS THERE AN ANSWER

It seems to me that looking at the amount of queries on here relating to the bluetooth modem connectivity of the E61 there must be a problem. I have been connected via bluetooth for about 3 weeks fine and then no connection to modem. Reloaded all software etc no joy, has anybody actually had this problem sorted

If you backed up when they were there, you can restore with a backup. You might also want to ask on a Yahoo forum if there's another way.
I would think it would be OK to use the Notes app. I don't sync it with anything and I've never had any trouble. You might also look at 3rd party apps... I've heard that Evernote is very good.

Maybe this 3rd party application is not compatible and this is the reason why this happens
But first of all you should check if the Bluetooth is still enabled
Furthermore you should check if this issue would happen after installation of new BT stack

Bluetooth connection between Mac book pro and IPad

Hello,
i am having trouble creating a Bluetooth connection between a Mac book pro running Mac OS X 10.6.8 and a IPad air 2 iOS 8.1.2.
I have managed to pair the devices but when I try to create a connection to transfer data an error message on the Mac comes up saying "Bluetooth network unavailable, make sure device is on, in range and set up properly", similarly if a connection is tried from the iPad an error message comes up saying "make sure the device is on".
Both devices Bluetooth is on and discoverable and i have managed to pair them but can't create a actual connection!
Any help / ideas appreciated?

Bluetooth paring for file transfer is not supported on iPads.
You can use Airdrop if both devices support it, or a 3rd party App, but you cannot directly pair an iPad to a Macbook and transfer a file over the bluetooth connection.

Bluetooth connected phone call waits until the person answers to connect through speakers! How to change this.

When placing a bluetooth call the car shows that the phone is connected but there is no ringing (it is still ringing in the phone speaker). Then the person answers and it plays through the car speaker, but misses the first word. What is happening? I used to hear the phone ringing. Now it waits until the person answers.

This occurred when I updated the IOS to 8 and switched to an iphone 6 from a 5.
I read both articles and did not find a solution to my dilemma. To clarify further:
When hooked up through bluetooth to my 2011 Honda Accord
- incoming calls will ring the phone through the speakers and I can answer and speak through the speakers/car microphone by touching a switch on my steering wheel
- outgoing calls that I initiate by touching the phone number on the phone will ring in the phone until the person picks up, it then switches to the car speakers (unfortunately, the hand-off results in missing a word or two that the answering person has said). This did not work this way with my iphone 5 and ios 7.

There is no bluetooth connectivity issue after the recent OS update. There may be a problem with your phone, which may or may not be related to the update. A "common problem" looks like this in the forums:
I haven't seen any threads on BlueTooth with over 1.4 million views and over 12,000 replies, or even any vaguely close. For any problem that someone has there is bound to be someone else amoung 150 million users who have it. That doesn't make it a "common problem."
If you tell us what the problem is specifically and what you have done so far to try to resolve it someone can probably help you.

Here we use MediaNav with iPhone4s, 5, and 5s. I use spotify to stream music, it works great. But each approx. 15s the signal drops for a moment.
I believe there is nothing wrong with the bluetooth connection of the iPhones, as I use them with other audio systems.

HT4211 Is there a setting I'm missing for bluetooth connectivity?

I use my phone to connect to and listen to music via bluetooth compatible speaker that is mounted on my bicycle. The speaker has no settings to adjust other than volume. So, as I travel through neighborhoods, the bluetooth loses it's connection for a moment and then it comes back. Very annoying. I could connect with a hardwire connection to the phone and speaker but I prefer the wireless connection. I'm not sure but it appears to be that other wifi networks in the neighborhoods are interfering with my bluetooth connection since it happens more often in crowded neighborhoods than when I'm out on the highway shoulder in the countryside.
Has anyone ever experienced this and is there a setting in the phone that can isolate my connection to my speaker and filter out all other wifi interference?

I understand that you're trying to print with your Touchpad. The Touchpad will only print to a networked connected printer on the same network as the Touchpad.

Lenovo A1-07 Ideapad Tablet Bluetooth connection

I am trying to connect my Lenovo A1-07 Ideapad Tablet to a Nokia 5230 phone using the bluetooth connection. Whilst I get the devices to pair they will not connect. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Nokia C5-03/Win7 Bluetooth connectivity problem

When I am trying to connect Nokia Ovi Suite to my phone using Bluetooth, the pairing process seems to succeed, except the last phase: Then I receive a message that the connection did not succeed. The wizard gives then a possibility to try again with a different ID but it fails every time.
It is the same problem if I try to pair the phone from computer's Bluetooth icon in the notification area. However, with using my laptop with XP this succeeds. Therefore I believe that my phone is OK but there is something wrong with my Bluetooth software in Win 7 computer. Nokia Ovi Suite lists it:
- Microsoft (Version: 6.1.7600, subversion: 16385)
When I start the computer, the Event Viewer shows the following error:
"The Bluetooth driver expected an HCI event with a certain size but did not receive it."

The Microsoft's "Event Log Online Help" onthat window does not suggest anything.
However, this may be the actual reason for the problems but I do not know how to fix it.
I have tried Microsoft's "Fix it" tool but it did not fix this problem.
Any ideas what to do?

Now I installed the Nokia PC Suite and I tried to make a bluetooth connection to it.
Everything goes again well except after the last phase when I give the asked pin number in my phone, the computer ponders a while and shows then a window with the text that the phone cannot be verified.

Bluetooth connection fails iOS 8.1

My iPhone5s cannot make a Bluetooth connectivity with any of my Macs(MBA mid-2013, iMac late-2012, MacPro) all running Yosemite 10.10. Prior to upgrading to Yosemite the same iPhone running on iOS 7 did make successful bluetooth connectivity. My iPhone5s is on 8.1. Surprising even though it cannot have connectivity, it sees and stay connected for a second or two and then will say "Not Connected". But the same phone connects with Blueant S4 handsfree Speakerphone - except that I have to make a connection each time. In the past, it used to connect automatically when I was in the range of my device.
Yes, I have tried reset PRAM, SMC resets on my Macs, powered OFF and ON my iPhone5s and even reset my NW connection. In addition, I have other iPhones in my family and none can make connection to Macs which run on Yosemite(tried 4s, 5 and even 6). But the same iPhones make successful BT on Macs running Mavericks and Mountain Lion(yes one MBP still exists). So I am guessing it is changes in Yosemite that is causing the problem. Because I am going through this problem - my family members who have Macs do not want to upgrade to Yosemite as they depend on BT connectivity for their external devices. I don't blame them, but sounds very silly to me that Apple messed up big time with BT connectivity. I see many reporting similar issues, but for many resetting PRAM and/or SMC they have been successful.
Any help would be appreciated. Again I am not referring to Handoff (which it is working for me) but I am interested in BT connectivity with Yosemite. This is important because external BT devices need to be connected(Headphones, Earbuds etc).

I went to the Apple store yesterday because I was having the same issue in my Honda Accord after I updated to iOS 8.1.1. The very helpful rep there suggested that I go to Settings -> General -> Reset on my phone to reset my iPhone 5 General Settings. She said that it's like an oil change for the phone that cleans out a lot of the junk. After doing this, I was able to stream both my music and Pandora in my car again.
Note: When you reset the General Settings, you will lose your phone password and background image (not a big deal). You will NOT lose your pictures, video or emails.
