What does this error mean?
Profiles in same realm must have same user name
I am trying to setup a PBXes.com account and since I upgraded firmware I get this message now, when trying to save a profile.
There were no other profiles in the same prior, is this somethign stuck from an old configuration.

Actually I just fixed it by deleting the profile and entering it as new. I saved it after each step of the profile creation process and was able to reproduce the problem when I entered a password on the proxy settings but not yet on the registry settings. Once I entered the same user name and password on both proxy and registry, I was able to save the profile again. So I guess I must have mistyped the password in one of the settings before.

    have you tried simple jdbc connection?
    Driver drv = Class.forName("oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver");
    Connection conn = DriverManager.getConnection(oracle:jdbc:thin:@myhost:1521:instance, "usrname", "password");
    If this works you're able to connect! so check that your oracel datasource is well specified in your deploiement descriptor and that your bean references this datasource.

    HTTP 500 errors mean the server could not deliver content due to an error, however, this message usually comes with a custom error screen depending on the web server, the message you describe is an IE error message.
    Things to check:
    1. Server logs to see if any errors did occur on the server
    2. You are pointing to the right host/port
    3. You have access to the server and/or it's port
    4. The code your trying to run.
    Not much more I can suggest at this point. What are you trying to do?

    Hi there. Upon trying to sync and/or download packages from Pacman, I get the following error(s):
    error: config file /etc/pacman.d/current could not be read.
    error: failed to synchronize current:
    and then it goes on a syncs community and extra and downloads whatever I need. I want this error to go away, despite the fact that quite strangely it doesn't inhibit my pacman usage. Any ideas?

    I think you ought to read the output pacman gives you, it will save you a lot of time. Whenever a new version of pacman is intalled - this could apply to other applications as well - you usually see some messages. Among those pacman tells you that "warning: /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist installed as /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist.pacnew" or as in your case you got a new version of pacman that included some changes to the config file, which was saved as /etc/pacman.new. That means some important changes have been made to that file, why it's good to update your pacman.conf with those changes (read through the file and check what has been changed and apply those to your pacman.conf).
    Besides that I think it's more useful for you to consult the Beginners Guide in the Wiki, because those questions are well explained there and will be of better help than me rewriting that piece of information.

    I received this while updating around 8 million records with a stored procedure.

    6 with name "R106" too small

    Usually, this indicates that you're doing a fetch across a commit. I'm guessing your code looks something like this, where you're committing after some number of rows:
    for x in (select lots_of_rows from big_table )
    loop
    << Do some processing >>
    if( count % 10000 = 0 )
    then
    commit;
    end if;
    end loop;
    The problem here is that Oracle needs to keep a consistent view of your select query at the time you issued the query the entire time that your loop is running (which requires that it keeps all the changes in the rollback segmets). When you issue a "commit" however, you tell Oracle that it's not necessary to keep the existing rollback information-- it's free to overwrite it. Eventually, that's exactly what it did.
    The two general solutions to this are:
    1) Don't commit until you're actually done. This will be faster, since commits are expensive operations, but it will require more rollback segments, possibly requiring that you allocate more disk to rollback.
    2) Modify your code so that it's re-entrant. In other words, have a query that can be re-run when you encounter an error and that takes advantage of the previous work. Then, you'll need to keep re-running the query until it finishes.
    asktom.oracle.com has much better explanations of what's going on with this error. Search for "fetch across commit" and you'll get plenty of info.

    I am trying to run diff reports using batch scripts, and its very puzzling that some of the diff report scripts within the batch script are running and some are not, there is no consistency to what is getting errored out.
    I then tried running them manually in foreground on the client and I get the same issue. Has anyone encountered this issue? What do I make of it?,

    This is issue is coherent in DRM version 11.1.1.2
    Whenever a property is deleted, the references to that property would still exists/stored in tables. The next version of DRM is made to address this issue, where in it takes care of removing all references whenever we delete the property.
    Cause: Properties was deleted from DRM client but the value was still stored in the compare table for Difference export and causing export to fail.
    Solution: Need to recreate the deleted properties and remove the properties in the exports and delete the properties.
    Going Forward: Instead of deleting the properties we need to remove the property from the export and hide the property.

    It seems on that machine there is already another running sever listening on port 8080.
    Arey you sure you did not launch the server twice ?
    Eventually, kill the other process first.
