E63 - How to customize 5 way key functions in stan...

Hi All, I remember having seen a menu to cusomise the 5 way center key somewhere in the E63 settings, but I am unable to find it anymore. Earlier the center button used to show contact names from address book, right direction key used to show the time/date/location/timezone, left dierction key was mapped to messaging and up and down direction keys were also mapped to some other stuff. Now the keys arent mapped to anything and when I press them nothing happens.
Does anybody know how to customize the 5 way key?

Hi,
first you have to switch the home screen to "Basic" (Menu -> Settings -> General -> Personalisation -> Home screen -> Home screen = Basic).
Then you can customize the 5 way navigation key with Menu -> Settings -> General -> Personalisation -> Home screen -> Key shortcuts.
Don't forget that you can use the 5 way navigation key the way you want only if you switch the home screen to"Basic".

not all key figure types are supported in BPS.
1. All key figure types must have aggregation SUM, SUM.
2. Supported key figure types:
- amout
- quantity
- number (integer, float, dec)
- time, only type DEC
- datum, only type DEC
All other key figures are filtered out and are not available in BPS.

How Do I Customize the Key Combination to Cycle Through Windows in Reverse in all Applications?

How do I customize the key combination to cycle through windows in reverse in all applications? I want to be able to change the global setting for Command+~ (Cmd+Shft+`) to something more desireable. I could NOT find a way to do this in Systems Preference -> Keyboard -> Keyboard Shortcuts since there is not a menu selection "Cycle Through Windows in Reverse". I then went and looked in the plists DBs of Finders resources hoping to find a setting I could override. I was quite supprised, as well as some of the MAC gurus in the office, that there was not an easier way to override cycling through windows in reverse on a MacBook - the most user friendly and accessibility aware computer on the market:)
Here is my MAC software info.
System Version: Mac OS X 10.6.7 (10J869)
Kernel Version: Darwin 10.7.0

I don't know of any way to have a separate commandkey combo for the reverse cycle function.
From the Help pages for OS X 10.6.7 ("Using global keyboard shortcuts") -
NOTE: You can create keyboard shortcuts only for exisiting menu commands.
Since the 'reverse' cycle command is not an existing menu item, creating a separate key combo for it doesn't seem possible. Apparently the 'reverse' cycle command is a fixed one, internally defined as a mod of the normal cycle command invoked by adding Shift to its key combo.
There may be a way to achieve what you want via a two-step process: write an AppleScript that will invoke the 'reverse' key-combo set, then link the activation of the AppleScript to a key combo of your choosing. Not sure if this is even possible, though - usually AppleScript activation via keyboard would be set up via an FKey.
I can understand wanting to share the RSI risk evenly between both hands, or even to unload the left hand if that is desirable. However, apparently a two-key combo can't be done for the reverse cycle function. Is a three-key combo not possible? ...meaning a two-key combo on the right (Command plus something) for normal cycling, adding Shift for reversing?
One caution about changing keyboard command combos - it's very easy to accidentally set up a conflict with a another existing commandkey set. FWIW, most, if not all, of the mnemonic and easily-reached letters are already used. In this vein, the Keyboard Shortcuts page of the Keyboard prefs pane shows such conflicts via a yellow caution triangle next to the conflictors.

How to Customize "Export to Excel" functionality in applicationsTable

I have an applicationsTable with exportEnabled. In my table, I have a column with commandImageLink. when we click on it, the summary of that particular record will be shown in the pop up. Now when I use "Export to Excel" feature I want the pop up content too to be exported to the Excel. Currently the column is shown with blank data in the exported Excel. Is there a way I can achieve that?
How do I override/customize the default functionality? Please suggest me.

How to use key() function in XSL Mapper file?

I would like to use the XSLT key() function in an XSL stylesheet in the XSL Mapper designer, but I can find no way to include the <xsl:key> element.
key() should be supported as it is available in the component palette, but I can't find a way to add <xsl:key> in the designer, and if I add it manually the designer tells me it is not supported.
This is with Jdeveloper JDEVADF_11.1.1.3.PS2_GENERIC_100408.2356.5660 on Linux.

The usual practice is to leave the XSLT as such. A person skilled in XSLT would know to open the XSLT in source mode if the design view is not supported. Almost most of AIA XSLTs are such and one has to only open them in source view.
You might want to document this into some document/guide which the person might refer before actually making the changes!

Hi,
You can WDHotKey property to define the different keyboard shortcuts to enable the user to trigger events with key combinations.
When the user presses the key board shortcut defined as the hotkey then onAction event is triggered.
The keys F2, F3, F4, F5, F6, F7, F8 and F9 are not supported, they call predefined functions provided by the Web Dynpro Framework.

How To Script The F11 Web Browser Key Functionality?

You've seen many Home pages that give you the choice of
screen res. When you click a res, say full-screen, the new page
opens up in a secondary popup and fills the screen.
Yuck. This is not what I'm looking for.
However, what I want to know is, can a swf be Actionscripted
- not Javascripted - to carry out the F11 web browser key
functionality, whereby when the swf loads in the Home page, it sets
the web browser into kiosk or full-screen mode without using
Javascript or HTML instructions in the HTML/xHTML head (E 7 Beta
totally ignores these "arcane" instructions which is a real shame
and a major pain in the butt).
If so, please post the Actionscript on this forum for us all
to enjoy!

How to set F2 Key to Convert to Profile OSX 10.7

Can someone clue me how to set my F2 key to Edit> Convert to Profile (instead of my display brightness)?
I used to be able to do this quite easily prior to 10.7, but now I can't figure it out.
Photoshop: Edit Keyboard Shortcuts> Convert to Profile won't accept my F2 key (it lights up my brightness)
System Prefs> Keyboard> Shortcuts is probably the key, but unchecking F2 doesn't solve the problem

Hi kamala,
Operating expenses are often allocated differently in financial accounting than in cost accounting. If, for example, an expense incurred in external accounting covers a whole year, you must assign a proportion of the whole to each individual cost accounting period. You distribute irregularly-occurring expenses, according to cost-origin, on the months in which they are incurred. This allows you to avoid irregularities within cost accounting. Costs allocated in this manner are termed accrued costs.
The even distribution of a one-off expense is referred to as time-based accrual calculation. With the aid of the accrual calculation functions, you can take these costs into account in the Controlling component.
Configuration: You can calculate accruals in two ways.
You can post accruals in the Financial Accounting component (FI) using recurring entries and pass the accruals along to the Controlling component using a special cost element for accrual allocation. Here, the accruals (or imputed costs) are calculated in financial accounting, not internal accounting.
You can calculate accruals in the Controlling component based on the costs posted there. To do so you can use the following approaches:
- Accrual calculations using the percentage method
- Accrual calculations using the target=actual method
If you use either of these procedures, you must ensure that subsequent postings are made in the Financial Accounting component if you want to display the accruals postings there as well.
Actions
To execute accrual calculation, you must define the necessary data and carry out the following steps, according to the accrual calculation method you are using:
For accrual cost calculation using the percentage method, you must first create an overhead structure (see: Defining the Percentage Method).
For accrual calculation using the target=actual or the plan=actual methods, you must create the corresponding accrual cost elements. You must also carry out cost element and activity type planning (see: Maintain Data for Target=Actual Accrual Calculation).
You can maintain data for an overhead structure, as well as for target=actual credits, during system configuration and for the application component itself. You must enter this data as controlling area dependent.
This controlling area dependent data includes:
For the percentage method
- Calculation bases
- Overhead percentage rates
- Credit objects
For the target=actual method
- Target=actual credits
