E72 photo editor not working anymore (blank "apply...

Hello,
Today I tried to edit a couple of photos shot in my E72, but the editor is no longer working properly.
As usual, I select the photo in the Image Gallery, then select Options > Edit. The editor opens, and I select Options > Apply Effect. The grid with the effect icons (brightness, contrast, crop, etc) appears just as an empty frame, no icons. I try to use the navigator to "move" blindly, as I know where the icons should be, but that doesn't work either.
One editor choice that I don't use - Show full screen - returns a blank screen.
I have already turned the phone off and on, removed thebattery for a few inutes as well, nothing.
Please, does anyone know a solution?

Have you tried without memory card to se if same result in case of possible corruption?
Suggest that you backup essential data with Nokia Suite and return device to "Out of box" state by keying in *#7370# followed by 12345 (default Nokia lock code unless altered by user).
Happy to have helped forum in a small way with a Support Ratio = 37.0

Multimedia Key inoperative, photo editor not worki...

My N96 is now running 20.015 firmware. I have freed up as much phone memory as possible by moving messaging to my 4Gb mmc. I have installed all possible apps to the 16Gb drive. The phone memory is showing 60.8MB of free space. I have reinstalled the 20.015 firmware.
However there still seems to be several functions which do not work correctly. Most notably the MultiMedia Key refuses to work and it is not possible to edit photos or videos. When I try to edit photos , even small ones, the edit page is simply blank except for the words at the bottom, OPTIONS-APPLY EFFECT-BACK.
Any possible solutions would be greatly appreciated.
I am seriously considering posting this to Nokia to be looked at although I feel I should do a Prince Charles and revert to my trusty old N95.
After so much disappointment with this N96 I am now afraid to order a N97.

Photo Booth not working anymore

I have a USB cam that used to work well with Photo Booth using iChatUSBCam, but not for longer than a minute in an actual iChat video conference. I updated to iUSBCam recently, and now iChat video works well, but now all I get is a blank black screen in Photo Booth. The camera works in every other expected application but only turns on it's light in Photo Booth. Could it have something to do with updates in Leopard? I'm running 10.5.2 on a PB G4 15". It's frustrating when I know that the camera did work in Photo Booth, and now it doesn't!

(1) iUSBCam effects only iChat, so your Photo Booth problem must be a separate issue. If you haven't recently repaired permissions and/or restarted your Mac, do so now. Then test whether your Photo Booth works correctly.
(2) If Photo Booth is still the ONLY app that does NOT work properly, quit Photo Booth. Then delete the Photo Booth Preferences file (com.apple.photobooth.plist) from your Home / Library / Preferences folder. Then launch Photo Booth again and see if the problem is corrected.
(3) If none of the above helps and you need to post back for other suggestions, determine whether your problem is application-specific and/or user-specific by using the relevant steps from How to Troubleshoot iSight. Along with any other relevant information you choose to post, please include the following specifics:
(3.a) the make and model of your webcam,
(3.b) the name of EVERY app you tested that work correctly with your webcam,
(3.c) the name of EVERY app you tested that does not work correctly with your webcam, and
(3.d) whether the problem is EXACTLY the same in every user account you tested.
If necessary, we will offer specific suggestions based on the details in your response.

PS elements 5.0 Editor not working anymore

All of a sudden the editor doesn't work anymore. Organizer is fine but anything else is out of order. Reinstalled everything and still not working. Anyone a suggestion? The helpdesk in the Netherlands didn't know and suggested a forum. I'm out of ideas.

Reset your application preference files.
Windows: As you launch the editor, press and hold in ctrl + shift + alt keys. Continue to press these three keys until a dialog comes up that says something to the effect of "Delete Photoshop Elements settings file". After this dialog comes on screen, you can release those three keys. Click OK to accept.
Mac: Same directions as above except the shortcut keys are cmd + shift + opt.
FYI, Uninstall/reinstall doesn't fix corrupt preference files as they are stored outside of the program folder.

Nokia E72- email service not working anymore

Hi there,
I recently bought a Nokia E72 for 300 bucks (euros). It looked like a perfect phone and everything seemed to work very well since two days ago.
I did NOTHINg but suddenly both my yahoo mail and gmail account on mobile does not work, not receiving anything.
When I tries to delate both the email account a message like this : "you must be connected to delete account" appears.
I re-did anything restoring the initial settings and trying to re-configurate the accounts. It seems like the authomatic configuration doesn't work at all..when I type email address and password it searches for settings but then anything happens.
anybody has the same problems? I'm very disappointed because , so far, nokia never let me down..that's why I choosed a nokia phone instead of a blackberry.

I was facing the same problem.
Try this.
Suppose you are trying to configure gmail account, then select gmail and enter username/password then it comes back to the main screen ( list of type of accounts ). Again select gamil and enter username/password.. Since I have earlier set up my gmail account, so it was asking the email and password I used for the first time to use nokia messaging application. If you don't remember yours, go to email.nokia.com and there you can try out you possible email/password combinations.
Also you can edit settings on email.nokia.com for each email account. My email account in Nokia E72 wasn't updating. Then I checked these settings and found the problem.
Try if this helps.

Photoshop Elements 11 - Photo Editor not working

The editor on Photoshop Elements 11 has stopped working. I have tried to uninstall Photoshop Elements 9 and failed, this may have caused this problem. Is there a way to run a repair of the applicaiton? If not, will I lose what I have in my catalog if I uninstall and reinstall Photoshop Elements?

You won't lose any photos or catalogs by reinstalling (there's no repair install). However, before you do that, try restarting the editor while holding down ctrl+alt+shift (command+option+shift on a mac). Keep the keys down till you see a window asking if you want to delete the settings file. You do.

Photo Editor not working

I have Elements 8 installed on another computer which crashed. Reinstalled on a new computer.Organizer works but the editor will not.
Thought possibly it was a deactivation problem. Contacted Adobe support but told to come to the forums for help as their tech help desk no longer is trained in support version 8.
Have reinstalled but to no avail. Any ideas as to how to get it working would be welcomed. Thanks in advance

What happens when you click edit from welcome screen or what happens when you click PhotoshopElementseditor.exe directly from installed location
c:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 8 ..
Try resetting the PSE preferences by
   1. Close Elements.
   2. Launch the Photoshop Elements Welcome Screen and hold down ctrl + alt + shift as you click Edit.
   3. Continue to hold the keys until you see a message box asking if you want to delete Photoshop Elements settings file; click Yes. Elements will open with default preferences.

Photo Stream not working anymore

I had PhotoStream working on my iMac, iPad and iPhone. It has stopped working.
All boxes to turn it on are checked 'yes'.
When I try to share to Photo Stream, nothing happens but it says 'photos uplodaing'.
In my iCloud account there is no Photo Stream logo.
I can't drag and drop to PhotoStream either.
So everyting is checked to work but no photos are upstreaming to PhotoStrea.
Can anyone help please?

I am sorry to hear that, I wish it would have worked for you. Often times I notice that if I take multiple pictures in sequential order or pictures with the shutter feature, it only uploads some.
If your concern is getting your vacation pictures secure, the best method is to plug in your iPhone to your computer and manually extract them, just as you would a flash drive.

TAB key for lyrics in score editor not working anymore!

I have been editing music for score printing in LOGIC for ever. Suddenly the TAB key won't take me to the next note, but finishes the inputting. I never get beyond the first syllable! I have even disabled the key command for TAB in other editors to make sure they don't clash - but no change. Can anyone help?

Pamela Mood Editor not working anymore

Thanks for another fantastic update, adding to the reasons to get rid of this humiliating program.
I fire up my computer and see your latest tapdance on the keyboard seems to have removed any kind of interesting formating from mood messages. (I thought messing up the profile picture enlargements where enough)

Photo browser in Mail does not work anymore

Since upgrading from Leopard to Mt Lion, the photo browser in Mail does not work anymore and I also cannot drag and drop photos from iPhoto into Mail. Any idea how to solve ?

Accelerometer not working anymore YOGA 13

I like to tinker :-) and I crashed my brand new yoga after trying to merge the partitions. So, I did a fresh install of windows 8 pro x64. Prior to re-installing, there was a really cool feature on the bing travel app that I liked. You could view a 360 degree photo and move it with the Accelerometer / Gyro in the yoga. After the reinstall, I downloaded all the drivers but now the bing travel app vr 360 gyro feature does not working anymore. I have tried everything I can think of like: make sure there are no exclamation points in device manager, downloaded QuickTime, java.
Please help.

+ shaking and tilting the machine
+ hard reboots
+ uninstallation and reinstallation of synaptic drivers
+ applying metro store app updates

Email notifications are not working anymore

Hi guys,
I use Grid Control 10.2.0.2 on Windows, and email notifications for critical alerts are not working anymore.
I didn't change anything to the OMS configuration, it just stopped one day, and when I ask for a test email (in "Setup -> Notifications methods" of in "Preferences") it is successfully delivered.
I didn't find anything related to this in log files, and nothing that could help here or on metalink.
Can anyone help about that weird issue ??

Have you gone back over your notification rules?
have you tried just creating a new notification rule and testing it?
Also take a look at Note:356774.1. If you've applied any patches (or done partition maintenance) you may have inadvertently lost all your jobs, which will break the email notications.
If still no joy, then try Note:285093.1.

Both cameras (front/back) will not work anymore. I would tap on the camera app, and the camera shutters would stay closed for a while and when it finally opens, it leaves a full blank screen. Is there a way I could send it in and get that repaired?

Disconnect the iPad, do a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is 'appsolutely' safe!, reconnect and follow the prompts.
