ECC to ECC via XI - Scenario

Hi,
Scenario: ECC5.0 - XI3.0 - ECC5.0
Description: There are 3 ECC systems which need to send Service PO's to a 4th ECC System which in turn shall create a Sales Order for each Service PO received from either of the three systems.
Could someone please tell me the steps for the implementation of the scenario from scratch.
Thanks & Regards,
Shobhit

Hi,
but you have 2 weblogs:

First of all push ECC data in to GTS server through T.code:/N/SAPSLL/MENU_LEGALR3. First click on Master data tab there enter customer/vendor number then execute.
2-Go to document tab there enter Sales order no/PO number then execute it.
Then go to GTS server in compliance management module you can get all the information.

Do you have any idea why this could be happening
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Kittu,
Change pointers. Change pointers are R/3 objects that mark changes to SAP master data. Change pointers are managed by mechanisms in a Shared Master Data (SMD) tool and are based on Change Document (CD) objects. CD objects record the changes occurring to master data at a field level. These changes are stored in tables CDHDR (header table) and CDPOS (detail table). ALE configuration provides a link between CD objects and change pointers. Internal mechanisms update tables BDCP and BDCPS, which host the change pointers. While CD objects are application-data-specific, the processing status of change pointers is message-type-specific. Also, the ALE change pointers are activated first at a general level and then at the message-type level.
    use this links kittu.

  • How to recover from scenario in ECC- SLT- BW (ODP/ODQ scenario)

SLT Scenario in question: ECC --> SLT --> BW (ODP/ODQ scenario)
Issue : I need a scenario where we need to recover the data in a table in case of any failure occurs (where point in time recovery is not possible) or there is mismatch in Target database (HANA) when compared to ECC source system.
For e.g. when we are replicating table A having high throughput (1,00,000 records/hr) from ECC to SLT. We find during reconciliation that records are not matching. We want to recover the data from ODQ for last 2 days (data retention set to 10 days).
    The following are key constraints:
    ·       1. Re-Replicate the table by stopping the replication and starting  again is not an option.
    ·        2. Data from BW is being replicated on real time and customer has mission critical reporting which does not allow downtime.
(in case of re-conciliation issue 1 hr downtime may be allowed as exception)
I have reviewed the documentation available on SLT (operation manual) but did not find any clear solution / recommendations (steps) for recovery from ODP/ODQ scenario.
How can we recover in the case of above scenario where replicating the tables again  (stop and start replication) is not an option?
Please provide your viewpoint as this will be helpful.

  • How to delete Master Data transferred from ECC to APO via CIF

    Hi, all
I'm connecting SCM 5.1 with ECC 6.0 via CIF.
    When activating Integration Model in ECC, the following error occurred;
"Location 0001 of type 1001 (BSG 592BUSGP) already exists in APO"
This is because Location 0001 was already transferred from different ECC client via CIF, and not cleared.
I'm now trying to initialise master data transferred from ECC to APO via CIF, but in vain.
I suppose I have to first delete all master data CIFed from ECC in APO, or have to execute initialisation of APO master data with ECC data in ECC.
Please tell me how to do this.
    For details, please read the followings;
I connected APO client with ECC client 590.
I transferred Plant and Material Master from ECC to APO via CIF.
After that, I wanted to change ECC client from 590 to the other.
I created the other client (592) by client-copying from 590 with SAP_ALL copy profile.
I deactivated Integration Model in ECC 590, and activated the same in ECC 592.
    Here, I faced the problem.
The initial data transfer failed due to the duplicate of data.
Now I'm wondering how I can initialise master data in APO and transfer initial data from ECC.
Due to testing purposes, I have to change ECC clients from one to the other this time, but I cannot initialise master data in APO and cannot tansfer initial data from different ECC client.
    thanks in advance,
    Hozy

    Hi all,
Thank you very much indeed for lots of your replies.
Thanks to all of your advices, I'm getting to understand what to do.
Well, I'll say I have to create one more client for testing with other ECC clients or I have to rebuild the client by client-copying from 001 and implementing all transportation requests, for marking del flags to each master data and running del programme sound like tough work, and sound like odd ..
Then, I've got next issue here.
In SCM-APO, I use BI objects, and , if I have to create several clients for testing, I have to set up clients where you can use both BI objects and CIFed master data.
I suppose I have to change 'BWMANDT' in RSADMINA and make RSA1 accessable in other SCM clients and implement tests.
Also, I have to register BI System for newly created SCM clients in RSA1-SourceSystem.
Well, if you have any experiences on this kind of use, and if you have any advice on it, please give me any tips.
Particulary, I'd appreciate very much if you give me advice on which way you have chosen; creating several clients or rebuilding the one client in SCM-APO when you use both BI objects, CIFed master data and Demand Planning.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Changing documents downloaded from CRM into ECC, in ECC

    Hi
Our requirement is to change documents downloaded from CRM into ECC, in ECC. I was refering to note 541113, but it is not of much use as we are using CRM 5.0. Also parameter that it says should be set I have set but ...obviously it didin't work. Please tell me what setting needs to be done for CRM 5.0 & ECC 6.0 so that our requirement is satisfied. I have searched SAP notes, without much success.
    Thanx in advance.
    Cheers
    Hits

    Hi,
    This is very simple.
SAP has provided us with a new Scenario. this is called Scenario A.
This scenario can be made Transaction Type specific.
You need to maintain table  SMOFPARSFA in CRM and CRMPAROLTP in R3.
    SMOFPARSFA:
    Key = R3A_SALES
    ParamName = INT_CHANGE_ORDER
    ParamName2 = <Transaction Type>
    ParamValue = A
    CRMPAROLTP:
    ParameterName: CRM_SCENARIO
    ParameterName 2: INT_CHANGE_ORDER
ParameterName 3: <sales document type>, for example TR
    ParameterValue 1: A
Just do these settings and check. This must work

  • Purchase Requisition transfer from ECC to SRM via XI

    Experts,
Please let me know if you have any information on  the following issue:
Environment : SRM 7.0,  ECC ep4,  Extended Classic scenario
The purchase requisitions have been created in ECC and released. I believe in SRM 7.0  the PR's get automatically transferred to  SRM Sourcing cockpit via XI from ECC.
One PR was pushed manually from SMQ1(Outbound queue ) in  ECC and this failed due to a login issue in XI.
The XI was using the interface  PurchaseRequestERPSourcingRequest.
    My question is
    1. When the PR is released in ECC, where to check if the PR is pushed to XI. Do we need to schedule a job? When I checked SMQ1 (outbound queue, the queues are empty)
    2. Do we need to define the partner profile in ECC for XI in We20. If so, then what message types to use for the  IDocs going from ECC to XI.
    2. Do we need to configure the interface PurchaseRequestERPSourcingRequest in XI to map the incoming PR from ECC.
    3. In transaction SXMB_moni in XI  I am not able to pull the  XML messages. What options options do I need to
set to pull the messages that errored out.
    Thanks,
    Scott.

    Hi All,
Hope this helps you for XI configuration
       Importing Business Scenarios for Sourcing
In this section, you transfer the business scenario Strategic Sourcing from the SAP Integration Repository, generate it, and activate it.
    Prerequisites
    You have:
Defined the business systems for SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SAP SRM) and SAP ERP in the SAP System Landscape Directory. For more information about SAP NetWeaver Process Integration (SAP NetWeaver PI), see the SAP Marketplace
Imported the SAP NetWeaver PI content for SAP SRM into the SAP Integration Repository.
    Procedure
Log on to the SAP Netweaver PI system.
    Choose Integration Builder: Configuration.
In the left pane, select the Objects tab.
Choose  Service Without Partner  Business System .
Right-click to display the context menu and choose  Business Systems  Assign Business System . This opens the wizard.
Choose Continue. The wizard guides you through the required steps.
Create the business system for both SAP SRM and ERP (you can bypass this step if the business system is already setup).
    Select a business system.
You can create communication channels either manually or automatically. You can create them automatically here. In this case, the systems are applied from the SAP System Landscape Directory (SLD). Channels must be complete in terms of URLs and authentication information.
Choose Finish, and then choose Close.
    11. On the main screen, choose  Tools  Transfer Integration Scenario from Integration Repository . This opens a wizard.
Choose Name using input help SE_Sourcing_Enhancements
Choose Continue. The scenario name is SE_Sourcing_Enhancements.
Choose Finish and then choose Close. The Business Scenario Configurator opens automatically.
    Choose Component View.
The Select Component View window opens.
    Choose Apply.
Choose Assign Services. The Assign Services to Application Component window opens.
Press F4 to retrieve the available services.
    Choose Assign.
Select the related service and choose OK.
Assign a business service to all roles.
    Choose Configure Connections.
Select the connections from the Service Assignment tab.
Press F4 in the Communication Channel field.
Select a communication channel. This channel must be of type XI.
    Note
If the systems are applied from the SAP Landscape Directory, the Integration Builder automatically creates the communication channels.
If the systems are not applied from the SAP Landscape Directory, you create communication channels manually. To do this choose an existing service and then Communication Channel using context menu New. You must assign a communication channel for each connection.
    End of the note.
Choose OK and then choose Apply.
Choose Generate to open the Create Configuration Objects window.
Choose Simulation, then Generate, then mark all in the list Scope of Generation.
Choose Start to generate a log. Check the log for errors and save it if required.
In the Close Integration Scenario screen, choose Apply.
In the left pane, select the Scenarios tab; your scenario has been added.
In the left pane, select the Change List tab.
    Expand the Standard Change List.
Right click on the scenario name SE_Sourcing_Enhancements and choose Activate.

  • Communication between ECC and SCM via XI

I am trying to set up the scenario 'Purchase_Order_Processing' between
ECC and SCM using XI. The SCM content for XI has been loaded into XI
and this scenario is included in the content.
    We are running the following:
    ECC - Version 5.0 - 640 SP level 12
    XI - Version 3.0 - 640 SP Level 14
    SCM - 4.10 - 640 SP Level 12
The connectivity between the systems has been set up as described in the configuration guides. On sending an IDOC (basic type ORDERS05) into XI I get the following error message 'Http server code 500 reason Internal Server Errorexplanation Error during parsing of SOAP header'.
The Error XML is as follows:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

    Sravya,
Yes this an IDOC to http scenario. There was no dump at the receiver end. I've found out what was causing the problem - I was using an adapter type of HTTP. It should have been of type 'XI'. I've altered this and it works. Hopefully this will resolve your problem Vinod.

  • HANA views call in ABAP ECC 6.0 via secondary connection

    Dear Folks,
We have created views in HANA, same views we need to call it in  ABAP ECC 6.0(Netweaver 7.3)  i.e. via secondary database connection.
    So,
1.Is it possible to call HANA vies in ABAP ECC 6.0?
2.Is there any version limitations? or will work fine on ECC 6.0
    3. If yes can you give me sample code of abap to access hana as secondary database
Note : I have gone through Mr. Thomas Jung thread.
    Regards,
    Amol

    Hi Amol,
so, ADBC is available in your system, but you have to make sure that the correct DBSL library for HANA (HDB) is available in your system. You can then just check if you can correctly communicate with the report ADBC_TEST_CONNECTION (using the secondary connection maintained in table DBCON) to your HANA database.
You may have a look at the example on how to select from an external view in report ADBC_QUERY (which selects from a DB table), by using a secondary DB connection to your HANA DB and using the HANA view instead of a DDIC table.
Of course in ADBC you have to take care about the correct type mapping (as you cannot use a DDIC type for definition of your internal table into which you select).
    Best,
    Jasmin
BTW: One word of precaution, the tasks you try to accomplish is rather cumbersome. We definitively recommend to use a more recent release (e.g. NetWeaver 7.4 SP5 or beyond), however, I think that's not your decision, right?

  • ECC - Central contract via SRM - condition Item button does not work

    Hi,
After the creation of a central contract via SRM, I checked if all the condition types are taken over to contract in ECC.
When selecting the item line and clicking on the condition button, it works correctly. After going back, to the main screen where the items are displayed I click once again on the condition button. Now it does not show anything, nothing happens.

  • Pushing Purchase Requisition from ECC to SRM via XI  in PPS

    Dear Experts,
    Environment SRM 7.0 ECC 6.0 ep4 and PPS 33.0
We are having an issue with pushing the Purchase Requisitions from ECC to SRM 7.0 via XI  using the SOA.                              There is an Application error on the receiving side in SRM (Faulty exchange Data)  when pushing the PR from XI to SRM using the inbound interface Purchasing RequestERPSourcing_In.                                                                                The outbound interface from ECC to Xi PurchasingRequest_ERPSourcing_Out is working fine without any errors.
Please let me know if any one has similiar issues in a PPS public sector implementation and any resolutions?
Thanks in advance for the help,
    Scott

    HI ,
If you have the xml in srm having status "Transfer to external application" then you can use the Forward Error Handling (FEH) concept in SOA. If you have done the required configuration for FEH and use transaction /n/SAPPO/PPO2 in SRM you will be able to see the actual error why xml is failing. Also rememeber to change the value for field Mode of postprocessing Order to 0 in the screen you get after running tranaction /n/SAPPO/PPO2
To configure FEH refer note: 1270081
    Hope this helps.

  • ECC -- PI -- SRM via proxies

    Hi All,
We have are working on SAP ECC via PI to SRM and SUS systems through proxies.
Now there is a requirement that we need to include some zfields to the existing std. structures of the proxies at SRM and in ECC. So could you please advice me how to go about it, as the std structure comes with all pre defined DT, MT, MM, OM etc (ie with all ESR objects). Now if I have do the customization to this struture by including the new fields in the source and target structures how do I do that.
These DT and MM has so many inter-related DT and functions (UDFs) respectively which I am not able to edit in the std SWCV, so should I copy all these into another SWCV and start working on it or is there any other way.
    Please share your thoughts.
    Regards,
    Nithiyanandam

    Hi
if the nproxy has a badi associated what you need to do is create a new enhancement DT in the ESR, when you define this kind of DT, one of the configuration fields is to define the segment of the standard DT you want to Extend.
once you did that, goto SE80 in your sap system, search the  DT enhancement proviuosly right button --> Create proxy
    once created-->Activate
The system create and append structure in the standard structure
you need to know if the standard proxy has a BADI associated. if not you cannot extend it. (see SAP workplace and search for your service or by customazing SPRO Tcode)
    then search for the BADI
take in mind that Badis has two sight
    definition and  implementation:
in Tcode SE18 you will see the definition (input output parameters, badi type, etc)
in Tcode SE19 you cann see all the implementation of the selected Badi
search in SDN about Enhancement Data Type and how to Extend standard proxys to more information.
    Thanks

  • Expose ECC to internet via webdispatcher

    Dear Experts,
I have installed SAP webdispatcher on our SAProuter machine (located in DMZ) which is statically NATed to a public IP (for OSS connection)
Is it possible to expose the ECC server to internet via webdispatcher using the public IP of the SAProuter machine?
The requirement for this is because of the problem mentioned in below question:
    /thread/1443294 [original link is broken]
If yes, then what all steps are required? Please help on this. I already got some help from the below link, but not clear how to impelemnt this.
    Regarding http port of ECC
Can anyone, please explain me in detail, how to achieve this?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ashish Khanduri

    Hi Nelis,
One interesting thing that I found is that there is diffrence in URL generated by DEV/QAS & PRD ESS portals.
When, I click on Travel Module in ESS-DEV, I get below URL:
    http://ceerpdev.cairnindia.com:8001/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zhr_travel_company_code/;sap-ext-sid=8kiwf3FIuy*XLGFENTckHwLPHzFjNcmLY3hWPrhP_5PQ/?sap-contextid=SID%3aANON%3aceerpdev_CED_01%3aSlfjlD21PgUeepTVjPpENQN8OsvECZQ0Y2hX2WeV-NEW
Similarly, for ESS-QAS, I get below URL:
    http://ceerpqal.cairnindia.com:1080/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zhr_travel_company_code/;sap-ext-sid=htJ99OD2fFK_sgNislQmdgXv*KbDHbG4sK0juhnkl7HA/?sap-contextid=SID%3aANON%3aceerpqal_CEQ_01%3afnOWPFQYpzSMOxwFo44KIaUc13qtKbhlg6fo63Rz-NEW
But, for ESS-PRD, I get below URL:
    http://ceerpappl.cairnindia.com:1080/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/zhr_travel_company_code/;sap-ext-sid=mPvzdJBUBPLHeqVIaLIk4wHbRmXCefq36*WmjZQkf76w
And, the interseting part is that in SAProuter machine (in DMZ) travel module is working absolutely fine on ESS-DEV/QAS, without any entry in /etc/hosts file, neither is SAProuter machine in domain, so that it could pick entry from DNS server.
But, on the same machine in ESS-PRD travel module is not working. Any suggestions on this???

  • Data import from ECC to MDG via MDMGX tool for CC group and CC hierarchy

    Hello,
We currently in process of importing data from ECC to MDG (co-deployed).
The MDMGX guide we follow mention about Accout (ACCA), Cost Center(CCTR) and Profit Center (PCTR).
While doing DIF, it shows above 3 domains but didnt mention about how cost center group(CCTRG), Cost center hierarchy (CCTRH) and same with profit center group (PCTRG) and profit center hierarchy (PCTRH) will be imported to MDG?
is there seperate process to bring hierarchy data from ECC to MDG?
    Thnx in advance
    Sahil

    Hello Sahil
With MDMGX you can load individual master data but for group and hierarchies, you have to use the old procedure. If you ask me, then the MDMGX takes longer time rather that downloading the data in file from tables directly and upload it in MDG.
Go through this document and load the hierarchy and group data.
