Ecommerce - Deleted Webform

I'm trying to set up the Ecommerce functions within business catalyst. Everything seems to be working fine, but when I put in all the checkout and payment information and hit "Submit" to complete the sale, I get the following error:
ERROR: You have deleted your web form. Please login to the Admin panel of your website and remove the previously submitted form from the web page you last visited. You will need to recreate this web form by going to Modules -> Webforms. After recreating simply insert this new web form into the web page and your web form should work properly.
I'm assuming there's a web form in the background that handles the submission of the checkout process, but I can't seem to figure out how it works with the checkout layout.
Any help is appreciated.

yer I did that last week and again today, it seems to only update for new products/catalogs but keeps all of the deleted catalogs.
another example too is if I was to upload a spreedsheet of new products and incorrectly labelled a catalog it would index both catalogs so if I fix the mistake then delete the incorrect catalog the product search still would show this incorrect/deleted catalog. Im guessing that BC would also index both catalogs in the sitemap too.
And what if you have no products left in a catalog therefore disabling that catalog, then that catalog would show in search results too.

Webtools 2007 cart page

Hey All,
I am trying to add some additional shipping expenses using the NPOrderExpense object during my clients check out process. I can add the OrderExpenses with no problem and they show up in the database after the shipping page. But if I go back to the cart page at any point during my flow ecommerce deletes all of my Shipping expenses and just adds its own back into the database.
Any ideas why it is doing that?

I should probably not used the word "override".
You can not override the NPOrder.Calculate() that runs on cart. You need to let the cart re calculate and then run your calculation to correct it.
At this point I have assumed you have written all of the code to get the order/expenses/payments the way you want them (when you did the verify page).
Am I right here?
The cart will run the Calculate() and override your work, so you will need to re-run your calculation code to reset the order back to your calculations.
You can do this either on the cart.aspx by adding a prerender event to the aspx:

At this point, the UI data has been set, so you will probably need to update any totals that are incorrect.

When i publish from muse ecommerce form in BC gets deleted

I made part of the site in muse and part in BC, now when I publish from muse it deletes the e-commerce form making checkout unavailable.
How can i avoid this?

Sorry fellas, but I have the same problem. Forms that have been used scores of times are still deleted when I update the site from Muse. This fix does not work.
BC is of very little use to me, if I have to rebuild my forms every time I change a bit of text. I'd rather not go through the hassle of moving to a different provider at this stage. Any other ideas?

How to Delete the content of an existing site and start from scratch

I choose the wrong template when i initially setup my bc hosting for a customer how do i change the template i choose in site options and select a different one . I need to delete everything and stat over. I tried deleting everything under the develop area but lost my module style sheets for the eCommerce package. please help. Im on the business catalyst platform

Seems as there is no standard solution available.
We have developed our own process type which deletes the content of the Open Hub table.

Deleting an extra column in the resultset of genericsearch page

Hello E-Commerce Experts,
we have a requirement where we need to delete a column in the resultset of the quicksearch trasactions in the genericsearch page.
In order to hide this column we placed a condition in the action class from where we are getting the contents in the column.
Now, we are unable to see the contents in the column but we are getting an empty column.
As the genericsearch page gets genereted dynamically,we are unable to place any condition on that extra column.
Can anyone suggest how to prevent this column from appearing on the screen. Do we need to set any parameters or anything.

You do not need to modify Action class for just hiding Trash column.
Put below lines of code as I have suggested in *genericsearch.jsp* file you will able to hide *Trash* column without modifying Action class.
You need to do 2 things to achieve your goal.
First remove Header cell for Trash column and then remove trash icon cell from each row.

I don't have them saved to my computer... the pictures are important and I really really need them back. Is there a way for me to get the pictures back from what I believed at the time was a smart way to backup when i made a duplicate of that main mac file to my google drive? BC Ecommerce SOAP Error: Server did not recognize the value of HTTP Header SOAPAction

I am trying to add a product to an ecommerce site with this soap action: Product_UpdateInsert

I have a html page in a secure area with a jQuery ajax soap script.
I get the this error when I run the script:

This line is a target namespace so it should not be changed: <Product_Retrieve xmlns="http://tempuri.org/CatalystDeveloperService/CatalystEcommerceWebservice"> It is very easy to think that it's a placeholder and that it should be replaced with your own url, which it should not and which will fail.

Form central + business catalyst + ecommerce issue.

Hi all
We have a few websites and have been using form cental to create contact us forms, gift voucher ordering, and event booking/payment through paypal for these sites.
I thought that any results we got (ie names and email addresses) would be going directly into the business catalyst mailing lists so that when we send out a newsletter, those new enquiries and customers get it.
But Ive now realised there is no link between the too (frustrating)
So Im now wondering why i even need to be paying for form central.
Can I do all of that in business catalyst?
Also I tried to find out how to upgrade my BC to include ecommerce (since Im assuming I cant may gift voucher order forms and link to paypal with BC webmarketing plan)
I eventually found you have to go to BC: Site settings >Site management> and then there is supposed to be an option that says upgrade... but the only option it has is 'delete'!
Getting a bit frustrated, so Im hoping someone can give me a hand on this one. :-)

Hi Brian,
That is a different Adobe product for global use, and as you noted does not tie into Business Catalyst.
If you have Business Catalyast you do not need to be paying for Form Central, there is no where in the documentation that it states you need to use it. If you found somewhere that said you did, please let the BC support team know so they can update that information.
Upgrade should appear in the top left, if not and/or If you been using Muse:

You will need to build web forms and mailing lists to have those work with BC and you will need to set up products, catalogs and use the payment from in BC for eCommerce.

Problems with form created in muse to use in business catalyst ecommerce checkout

I am trying to create a form to use with my BC hosted site for the commerce module checkout
I have created a sample form - but every time I update the site it overwrites the form that I have modified in BC
I have checked the option to not export the page that the form is placed on but it still overwrites...

any webform which is not used till now, will be deleted by Muse. To fix this,
1) Create the Purchase webform with payment details in BC.
2) Goto Module template-> online shop-> register buy layout and place the webform .
3) Go to test page URL and submit a test entry.
4) Check in back end a order will be created.
5) Then publish the site via Muse.
Muse never deletes a webform which has been used for submission.
Do let me know if you have any question.

Delete of my account - skype name from skype direc...

I am wish to delete my account (Skype Name from the Skype directory)
I have already taken all steps described in: 'Can I delete my Skype account?' ...deleted all personal information (name, e-mail, etc...)
I also tried to contact the customer support with my request ...tried all the steps there as well but it took me all around back here.

I think that the instructions on how to contact customer service is clear enough and easy to follow. Yet, if that one is not working for you (though contacting via webform usually results to faster responses), you can also try to send an email to [email protected] .

Need to delete account but support page wont work!

Hi, I need to delete my account.
I have typed this into help which tells me I need to contact Skype support however when I try to the page doesnt work so I cant contact them!
Anyone know how to contact them by email? I've been trying to get on the right page for days but it just says "oops" and that its down!

try using another web browser to open the Skype webform page, or perhaps another computer if available. If still that doesn't work, you can also try to send an email to [email protected] Yet, contacting Skype via webform/support page usually results to quicker responses as it have some sort of email filtering system based on the categories that a user will select (or something like that).

Deleting members in a hierarchy

Hi All
The hierarchy for a particular dimension has been created and members have been used in web forms. We need to recreate the total hierarchy of this dimension.If i try deleting the member manually , it throws an error that it is being used in webforms , hence cannot be deleted. Kindly suggest as to how to recreate the hierarchy without deleting the webforms.

You can take the export of all the data forms using FormDefUtil.cmd, from which you will get .xml file for that data form.
Once you export all the data forms you can delete the data forms and delete the dimension members and load them accordingly.
Later you can import all your data forms using FormDefUtil.cmd utility in to the application.

Muse/BC Bug: Secure page web form in BC gets deleted everytime I publish

I have a secure page signup form that I have placed using a content holder in BC and inserted in Muse. Every time I make correction in Muse and republish, the webform is deleted from the list webform at the BC side. This is the error I got when I tested the signup form:
ERROR: You have deleted your web form. Please login to the Admin panel of your website and remove the previously submitted form from the web page you last visited. You will need to recreate this web form by going to Modules -> Webforms. After recreating simply insert this new web form into the web page and your web form should work properly.

I have followed these steps and still continue to get the following error message:

When I published the BC form on a page and submitted it, I got the following message:

Please go back and correct this.
Any suggestions?
