EDI not Processing in bd87 but successful in WE19
Hi Gurus,
I have an custom function module to post EDI 856 (Shipments) to SAP, I am getting an error when processing idoc through BD87 "Function module not allowed: <my Z function module>".
I tried execute the same in debug mode in WE19, and it was successfully posting.
Also i found a strange situation here that when i use the "Inbound function module button" and post it posts successfully but when I use the "Standard Inbound" button i am getting the error (EDI status 51) as i get in the BD87.
Any solution on this please

Processing Details:
Process code xxxx
Function name xxxx_xxx_xxxx
and
inbound Function Module Button>>>
Function Module
Then you will understand is there any Diff....

Hi ,
Some of the ORDER Idocs are in 53 status, but the orders are not processed successfully and no PO created for these Idocs.
They got below warning message when I checked in WPER transaction code.
" Missing authorization: Purchase Order Create Purchasing Grou 110 " - "Workitems (tasks) were created for this IDoc"
This is happening once in a while for some of the idocs. Remaining all idocs are posting successfully.
These IDOCu2019s are processed via user background. Not sure why we have authorisation issues as this user has SAPALL. Any ideas?

Import Server detects file in Ready folder but does not process
I have a problem where MDIS detects a file in the ready folder, but it does not launch the import:

The log file shows the above. You can see it detects the file is there, but since it does not launch the import it does not process the file or even move it to the exception or archive folders. I have confirmed settings in the MDIS.ini file, e.g. password, etc. I can import the same file using Import Manager without any errors.

Your suggestion to try a different file type yielded positive reults. I created a simple tab delimited text file and import map and changed the existing Port from using XML based on the MATMAS05 schema to using the text file. The log shows:

The text file was immediately picked up and imported. This thus proves that (1) MDIS is functioning, (2) user / password is correct. Unfortunately you will also see from the log above that when I changed the port back to run on XML the problem has not been resolved.

This seems to be an Authorisation issue, Kindly check for Purchasing Group 110, who are all assigned Buyers...
Then for those Buyers.. you can check what authorization is missing from Su53..
Compare with those who has authorisation to create PO Vs who does not have ..
you will have to provide the same authorisation to those users

PO workflow process raises event but subscription does not fire
Hi:
We are sending POs electronically in XML (11.5.10.2). The PO reaches the supplier correctly. The workflow process to send the PO to the supplier completes successfully. The workflow diagrammer shows that the process fully completes. The last task in the standard process raises an event called oracle.apps.po.event.xmlposent. By default this event has no subscriptions, but I created a subscription that will call a custom workflow process. In testing, I can manually raise this event, and my custom process works. But when the full process runs and completes my custom process does not run. Again, according to the workflow diagrammer, the event in question gets raised. I find no evidence of the event in question in an queue. Why would the process complete, including the step to raise the event in question, but I find no trace of it.
Can anyone suggest additional debugging steps or a solution?

File is getting picked up by Communication channel but not processed by XI
Hi,
I have a File to File scenario. The input csv file is getting picked by the sender communication channel but its not being processed by XI and thats why no entry is coming in sxmb_moni.
Then I think the message might getting stucked in the inbound que and it comes true. I delete all entries in smq2 but then again process the files but still it is not getting processed by XI rather the entry again came in inbound que.

IView not processed for second time, but 'old' cached data is displayed...
<b>I have the following scenario</b>:
In IView 1, I select a notification number. Then, I click on a button to create a service order.
This calls IView 2, and the notification number is passed as a request parameter to IView 2.
The problem happens when I close the popup and select another Notification to do the same thing with. When the popup is called, the old data is still there. The IView itself is not processed (no doInitialization etc).
<b>Details</b>:
The parameter is passed correcty to the other IView.
This is done by using:

That did work in the previous Portal version, so there's really no reason to believe it's wrong now...
But after upgrading to EP6, it does not behave the same way anymore.
I added messages to the defaultLogger, to write to the log at doInitialization.
Then, I can see that output is NOT written...
It looks like the popup IView is not being called again, but just displays the OLD data.
Unless I upload the component again to the Portal.
Then it works. Once. Looks like a caching issue to me.
Just clicking on the 'x' to close the window doesn't seem to clear the cache.
So I have to find a way to refresh this IView or clear its Cache or something...
But how is a mystery...

Background info (might be helpful to others...)
We migrated from 5.0 to Portal 6.20. This caused problems with caching.
There are differences between caching in those versions. But the main reason was that the portal version information was set in the portalapp.xml file...
To solve the issue, the lines referring to the portal version have been removed from the portalapp.xml:

<property name="DeploymentPolicy" value="5.0"></property>
<property name="AuthenticationPolicy" value="5.0"></property>
</application-config>
Also, a line was added in the Portalapp.xml:
<property name="ALLOW_BROWSER" value="No"/>
If the component is called directly (as in our case), then the Iview caching will not be used. All the caching has to be done via the portalapp.xml file. -

FAGL_FC_VAL executed but the batch is not processed in SM35 and I deleted this batch (Session).
My understanding is when we execute FAGL_FC_VAL only system valuate but posting happens only when we run the session in SM35. Am I correct ?
Or have I done mistake deleting this session in SM35?

This is how Batch Input Session Name field in foreign currency valuation works. If you happen to enter a batch input name, a batch session will be created and you would have to use transaction code SM35 to process it yourself. It will not process automatically. However, if you leave the the batch input session name field blank, and you check create postings, postings will be made immediately when you execute the transaction.
With regards to no listing generating the second time, make sure you check the Create Postings as suggested by the previous contributor.

Just upgraded Tiger to Leopard. Clarisworks not supported. I can successfully convert CW4.0 doc's to AW6.0 doc's using MacLink Plus Deluxe and then work on them but the problem is that I cannot print them. Neither can I convert to PDF.

You could ask your prof to run it with -Xprof or
-Xhprof or whatever. Or you could put in a bunch of
timing statements to get a rough idea of which parts
are making it take that extra 39 minute or whatever.is -Xprof a java command line option? If so, I will look into doing that. Maybe it's available on the machines at school. Thanks for that input. -
i clicked erase content and setting before 12 hours but it is not processing till ie not completed till what can i do
On a 4S the erase should take under 10 seconds. As it has taken longer there must have been data corruption on the phone. Reboot it by holding HOME and SLEEP until an Apple logo appears. If it has not be cleared of all data connect it to iTunes and Restore it. Then erase again.

Why does iTunes freeze when movie download is processing and it will not restart the download but yet it billed my acct for payment already? It has been a week now and still not done processing. I get an error message when I try to restart the download.

Another option might be there is a block entry available (sm12) you might need to delete.
