Edit Photo dialog box will not display

When I select edit in CS5 my file goes straight to CS5 and my edit in the dialog box will not display. I have no way to oprn with a copy or etc with out the edit dialalog box.
Iam using LR 4 latest version I must have changed some thing no realizing . Everthing was fine until a while ago.
All the NEF files that were recently imported are the ones that the dialog box will not show the TIF files the dialog box will show.
When these files were ompoterted all the history does not show in the module just the import. Did I import wrong causing all the history not to show??

Hi Dick,
That sounds like normal behaviour with Raw files to me. They usually go straight through the Camera Raw pipeline into Photoshop. Rendered files like Tiff and Jpeg have the Original/Copy/Lightroom Adjustments dialog.
I'm not sure what you mean by History because on Import, there is only one history state: Import.

When I go to USER MANAGER - END USER all of my function buttons are missing. There is no:
ADD NEW
SELECT ALL
CLEAR ALL
DELETE SELECTED
Also, I cannot edit the existing users even though I am logged in as Administrator. Please see the attached screenshot with the missing buttons. Is this a misconfiguration or could the software be corrupted?

I just have a VoIP lab, therefore I don' t have an LDAP server. I did create a modifed end user group, however I deleted all of the users from that group. Is there any way to restore the creating/editing of users without reinstalling the CUCM image?

Source monitor and program monitor boxes will not display video in full only half

I have adobe premiere pro cs6 and source monitor and program monitor boxes will not display video in full only half. So the top half of both monitors are black and the bottom half is where the video displays. But you can see that the video is missing the top part. Like people's heads are cut off and can only see body. How can i fix this so premiere pro cs6 will use the full monitors boxes to display my video?

How do I change the dimensions of an image? The Image Size dialog box will not allow me to change dimensions. I am taking an online class and the Image Size dialog box looks different than the one I am seeing in Photoshop CC. It has the option to change the dimensions.

When you say chage the dimentions, do you mean crop the image and adjust the size of the image at the same time, or do you mean you want to just resize the image? Can you post a screen shot of what you're trying to do?

The suggested solution is only for the symptom. There is a bug in iOS.
My situation is much worse. My 80 year old Mother in-law bought a 4G iPad to keep in contact with her son overseas. Her retirement village has no WiFi so it it not possible to backup her iPad. The "This iPad has never been backed up" modal dialog locks up the machine. She is currently in hospital (doing well thankfully) but could have died and not been able to see her son because of this. It has caused her no end of grief over the last month.
I've worked around the problem by using my WiFi but this is a fatal flaw that needs to be urgently addressed.

After updating to Firefox 32.0.3 Print Dialog box will not apear in XP/Win7Pro after a while but a restart of Firefox will allow it to show up again..

After automatically updating to 32.0.3 last Thursday and this Monday on all our Staff and Patron computers both Win7 pro and XP pro we have seen Firefox sessions that will not bring up the Print Dialog. The Print Preview dialog will come up but no print button or print menu item will bring up the Print Dialog. After you close Firefox and reopen it the Print Dialog box will work again for some time. The websites that Patron and Staff use during a session are different and done seem to be the cause. The Firefox settings are at fault because a simply restart of just Firefox fixes the issue and no other web browsers or application has any problem with displaying the Print Dialog at any time. Again this began on all the computers as soon as 32.0.3 was installed automatically over night.

The print icon in the page has a opened a printable view and then the print dialoge comes up. When I switched to another program, that icon did not open the preview.
Do you notice any about:config entries that change when you see this start to happen?

Hi Rachel,
As far as I know, seem it's not possible bu bypass the prompt window of gated check in. But it allows you to do batched gated builds. With batched gated build, you can specify a build definition to build more than one queued build at a time. Check this

Dialog Boxes Will not reset

I recently bought a new computer and transferred all of my ipod's library to the new computer using an external hard drive. The transfer all went fine and I have complete access for my library however, when I tried to sync the ipod, a dialog box asked me if I wanted to overwrite it. I selected the "do not ask me again" box and hit cancel because I wanted to double check and make sure I had everything first. Now the ipod will not resync. I have tried resetting the sync history as well as the dialog boxes. I even reset the ipod to factory settings but nothing is working. Is there anything else I can do besides use the ipod as an expensive paperweight?

Not to be argumentative, but the itunes library IS the issue if you are got a message that the ipod is synced with another PC, do you want to erase and sync. Perhaps I misunderstood your first post.

But if you've already restored it to factory settings, never mind resetting it!
A shift-start means you press AND HOLD the shift key while starting itunes, keep pressing until you see an option to create a new library or choose an old one.
Are you confident that all your items are on your PC and safe? If so, you could see if the ipod would sync to a new blank library. Either using the shift-start, or opening itunes in a different windows user account. Actually the new user is probably a better test, since I know it has completely different preference files.
This one's a stumper. I've never heard of an pod doing this sort of thing after a factory restore. So, it must be some obscure file on the PC causing it.
I wonder...if you go into the ituens store, look at your account, there is a button to reset warnings about buying stuff. It says nothing about ipod syncing, but I wonder if it would give you back the option to get warned again.

The print window settings dialog box will not come up

When attempting to print a website, I need to select the option to print as laid out on the screen as described in this how-to: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-print-websites#w_print-window-settings.
However, I have attempted to get this dialog box to come up on 4 different machines that all have Firefox 32 installed and updated. The operating systems of the 4 machines were 2 Windows 7 64bit, 1 Fedora 20 64bit, and Windows 8.1 64bit.
It appears that using the print button launches the print preview screen. Pressing CTRL+P does not open this page either. Is this something I need to change in about:config? I already reset all the printing settings and reset firefox on these machine to see if that was the issue.
Please let me know how to correct this behavior.

On Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 systems, it does not come up. I did try disabling the pop-up blocker, but it just won't load the dialog box. It is driving me a bit crazy.
And Office 365 does put the email out to a new window, but it still has frames :(. Microsoft's support forum advised setting IE and other browsers to print as displayed. The issue is I can't seem to figure out how to get that dialog box to come up. I have tried disabling the native dialog box in about:config, but didn't have any success with that either

Photoshop CS5 pop-ups (Dialog boxes) will not stay / stick in place

My pop-up / dialog boxes have always opened in the same place as I had placed them from the previous time I had used them. All of a sudden they will no longer stick / stay, they open in the center of the page.
For example when I first open PS and I click Ctrl > C for Brightness / Contrast the box will open in the center of the page. If I move it to the side (so its not in the working area) it should open in that spot the next time I use it.
But now it will always open in the center of the page regardless of where I have placed it before. Very annoying it have to move the dialog boxes all the time.

What OS are you running?
I know of no way Windows can cause that, but I don't know about OS X.
If you can't find a direct solution, it might be a case where a complete Photoshop preferences reset to defaults could help... Press and hold Control - Shift - Alt simultaneously (or Command - Shift - Option if on a Mac) immediately upon cold-starting Photoshop. If you get the keys down quickly enough - and you have to be really quick - it will prompt you to confirm deletion of your current preferences, which will lead to the establishment of a fresh default set. If it does not prompt you, you haven't been quick enough to get the keys down.

Dropdown dialog boxes will not work. I can click on the boxes, the dropdown appears, but I cannot make anything in the box operate. I just upgraded to 6.0.2 on a fresh install of Windows XP

I use the net to pay bills. The dialog box on my bills have accounts in them, but I cannot make the account numbers work. I regularly go to websites that are several pages deep, but the dropdowns for the next page don't work. The numbers, as well as the accounts appear, but they cannot be highlighted to access them.

I'm not sure if the crash is or isn't related to fonts.
Deciphering the crash long is something I don't have any experience with.
I'm not even sure how the crash log is structured. I've downloaded two screen captures: one from the top of the adobe Photoshop crash log and one from the bottom. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable than I can discern what may be causing the crash?

Framed text box will not display on top layer of overlay

I am trying to place a framed photo and a frame text box over a layer. I have done this many times with no problem. Now, only the photo and its frame will overlay. The frame of the text frame displays but not the text. Only a place cursor is visible.

Check for text wrap on the other objects or alternatively, right click
the text frame and choose text frame options. Enable ignore text wrap.

Site Setup FTP dialog box will not let us access to make changes

I have one website on line with the corrected FTP settings that my host earthlink required with its recent changes. But in order to get those FTP changes done, the web hosting rep from earthlink had to take over my computer. I have another website that only gets changed once a year. I made the changes in Dreamweaver & wanted to upload them. I was given a message that I had to update the FTP for this site. Again, when I tried to make changes in the FTP, I couldn't click on anything to make those changes. If the update was already done for one of my websites why didn't it 'trickle down' to encompass my other website?

Are both of these sites using the same site definition? If they are using different site definitions then there would be no interaction among them at the site definition level.

Visual Studio 2012 Toolbox - Choose Items Dialog will not display

When i click on a new or exisiting tab in the toolbox and select 'choose items' the dialog box does not display this is either from the main menu or context menu.
I've reset the toolbox, deleted the .tbd files, run devenv in safemode, reset settings, reset skip packages and nothing.
The status bar says the dialog box is opening but soon as you focus the ui this status message disappears.
I also have VS2010 installed and this is working fine
Anyone any ideas ???

Thanks for your post.
If that dialog is not display after you click "choose toolbox Items", Visual Studio on your OS may corrupt.
Could you please repair VS2012 from control panel?
By the way, can you run Visual Studio 2012 as administrator, can you see the dialog?
If the error persists, try gather activity.xml by referring to http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms241272(v=vs.110).aspx and then share the file
to www.skydrive.com Then right click the file to share it, you will be able to get a link for me.
I also recommend you do a reinstall of VS2012 to see if the issue can be fixed.
