Elements 10 Organizer Issue

Whenever I edit a photo and close editor, the Organizer jumps back to the first photo in the catalog.  Has anyone else had this problem with Elements 10?  All my previous versions of Elements Organizer stay on the photo I just edited.

Let me clarify my understanding of your problem. You are saying tha you edited a image in Editor and saved this image in a Watched folder. Now when you return back to organizer you find that EO has moved to the 'Watched foler' (though as per you it should retain selection of previous folder). Am i right?
In case your problem is same as mentioned above. There are two approaches to solve your problem-
Case 1: When you do not want any 'watched folders' in your catalog: Proceed as follows-
1. Select 'File->Watch Folders'. (Watch folders dialog box will appear).
2. Unchech the check box for 'Watch Folders and their sub folders for new files'.
Case 2: When you want some 'watched folders' in your catalog: Proceed as follows-
1. Select 'File->Watch Folders'. (Watch folders dialog box will appear).
2. Near bottom of this dialog box  click on 'Notify me' radio button. (As per your problem radio button for 'Automatically add files to Elements Organizer will be clicked').
