Elements 11 installation errors 10.8.3

Day 3.
I purchased Elements 11 as a downloadable. Download was trouble free. Registration; done. Serial Number accepted.
I have no discs. I am not a programmer.
I have uninstalled, reinstalled. Uninstalled AIR, reinstalled AIR. Uninstalled, redownloaded the actual program.
Below is the complete error log. I have gone down the list and tried what I could understand via troubleshooting. I have now spent more time trying to install it than I paid for the program. I need help.
Any REAL help would be so appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Microsoft windows 8 was buggy, but win 8.1 has even more program bugs. I cannot install either Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 or Adobe Premiere Elements 12. I get various errors - eg invalid serial number (when it isn't), general unspecified installation errors, roll back problems, 9 times I've uninstalled and reinstalled and rebooted. The Adobe Trouble-shooter does not help eg delete the swf file etc.
Why do you release programs with so many bugs?
How can I get my money back?
But Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 used to work fine...
Adobe is not the only company with Windows 8 problems....

A few days ago I bought the Photoshop elements 12 and with the help of the customer service chat I finally register and received the serial number, but accidentally closed the chat before obtain the link to download it. I 've tried in different ways with not results. Can anyone please help me to download and setup the software that I purchased? I'm new around here and have found it very difficult this new system, I think it was better when the program was purchased on disk and only the installation steps were followed, Sorry my insistence but took a few days on this and start to get frustrated by not receiving any response from the customer service and finally referred me to this forum. Should I return the prepaid card to the store?. Please help.

Photoshop Elements 12 installation error on windows causing rollback-help needed please

I am installing Photoshop Elements 12 on my windows laptop. When almost done an error occurs and it starts rollback and the installation fails. I consulted the troubleshooting guide which suggests to go to C://Program Files(x86)/Common Files/Adobe/OOBE/PDApp and delete the files PDAppFlex.swf and PDAppFlex-app.xml .I have managed to go to Program Filesx86, Common Files, Adobe, but then the folder OOBE is absent. Within the Adobe folder I have AAMUpdaterinventry, Acrobat, Acrobat PCD, Help, PCF, SL Cache and Updater6. The files suggested to delete before retrying installation are not present in any of these folders.
Has anybody any ideas on what I should do in order to complete my installation.

Without proper detailed system information nobody can know what is going on. Also try to find the pertinent info from the install logs.

Photoshop Elements 10 installation errors on Mac OS X Version 10.6.8

Been trying to install PSE 10 -- At first install got exit code 7 errors -- Try to download the "fix" -- Fix wouldnt download -- Chatted with Tech Support-- Chatted for a 2 1/2 hours -- Tried multiple things - -- Now the installation gets to about 2% then gets the error " Inconsistencey in installer database"-- Chatted again now download gets to 17% than get an exit code 7 error-- ANY help would be awesome and greatly appreciated. You purchased the DVD/Box of the product or downloaded it from Adobe.com? PSE11 is released now. Would be good to try trial http://www.adobe.com/products/elements-family.html?promoid=KACNC and check if it works.
Also try installing with Admin account. At times anti-virus also create conflict so you might try with that off and see.
Cleaning the old files using clean script tool http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html and then try installing again.

PS Elements 11 installation error with Windows 8?

I have seen this question posted before on the adobe forums but with no solution. I downloaded Adobe Elements 11 but cannot install it. Here are the screencaps of my error messages.
Error #1
After clicking OK, a second message comes up:
I have tried deleting and re-downloading the files from adobe. I've tried emptying my temp folders, and I am the only user/administrator on my computer
Is this a download/install error? Or is this a windows error? Either way, I would like some information on what my next steps would be.

Photoshop Elements 12 installation errors

Using MS 8.1 with Bitdefender antivirus; first time Adobe user - I purchased Photoshop Elements12/Premiere Elements 12 and am trying to install Elements but received the Shared Technologies error and it rolled back as if to uninstall. I followed the suggestions about renaming the OOBE folder, but when I tried to to install it again, the disk tried to uninstall and I get error 2343-specified path is empty. Through chat with Adobe a couple of days ago, I was told to uninstall my antivirus (Bitdefender) and try installing Elements again. It still tried to uninstall and I get the error 2343 again. Hopefully, someone has the solution to this problem. I am not very tech savy and expected to be able to install the program and be learning/using it by now. After 7 hours of just trying to install the program, if there was a way to return it, I would.

Photoshop Elements 8 installation Error 2

I received error message AdobeColorCommonSet RGB Error2 when installing photoshop elements 8 which was part of a bundle software package that came with my Bamboo Fun tablet. I tried shutting down and reinstalling the software several times and continue with the same error. Any help?

that refers to color profiles. Depending on what operating system you use, this could be simple compatibility or permission problems. also another Adobe app on teh system could already have installed newer versions of those profiels... Impossible to tell without more info.

Installation error during update to Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12 Bundle.

8 days ago, I purchased the upgrade to Photoshop Elements 12 and Premiere Elements 12, Bundle.
Premiere Elements 12 works fine, but yesterday, I found that PSE12 does not open.
This morning, the update to V 12.1 for both came in, which I downloaded tried to install.
There were two messages:
1) during installation: something like "turn off AdobeActivityScanner" (which was not running according to the Task Manager)
2) after installation:
Photoshop Elements 12.1 update
There was an error installing this update. Please quit and try again later. Error Code: U44M1P2003
How can I correct this problem? I need to work with Photoshop this week.
Do I need to uninstall this part of the bundle, and re-install? Will the Serial No.still work?

BACKGROUND (History appears chronologically in 4 parts.):
CS 5.5 was already installed and functioning fine, then upgraded from OS 10.6 to 10.7. Noticed issues with elements not appearing in DISPLAY VIEW of Dreamweaver, but was correct in CODE VIEW and BROWSER PREVIEW.
Tried to reinstall and uninstall Dreamweaver 5.5 several times using the CS 5.5 installation disk. Consistently got DF024 errors. NOTE: After first attempt. installer marked Dreamweaver as already installed, but not the others. Using the Finder, the Dreamweaver directory appears to be empty unless the files are now hidden. Nothing regarding the application can be seen in the Trash. Also unable to launch any other Adobe CS apps.

SLConfig.xml appeared to be an alias pointing to a file of the same name in the Mac version. Went to original file, made a new alias and replaced the corrupted file.
Then rebooted system and relaunched CSS5.5 Installer with all apps selected. Program started and ran for about 15 min before reporting more errors, now with error DF037 as well. Did this again with the same results except the DF037 error did not reappear. It appears the the problems are mostly in two directories:
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/CameraProfiles/
and
/Library/Application Support/Adobe/ssc/DesignSuitePremium-CS5.5-Win-GM/
but I am not sure how to best resolve this.

Thank you for your reply.
Since my initial posting here, I've attempted a few more installations. Each time a file from /Library/Application Support/Adobe/ssc/ would appear with the same error DF024, and it was always an alias. So each time I would replace the old alias with a new manually created alias pointing to the same original as the old alias. Sure enough, when I relaunched the installer, error DF024 with the old alias no longer appeared, but a new error DF042 with another alias from the same directory did appear. Then I manually replaced all aliases found in the /Library/Application Support/Adobe/ssc/ directory with new ones I created.
Upon rebooting and relaunching the installer program, the program did not stop at around 12% as consistently it did up until now. Instead, it progressed to 80% before it stopped and reported a huge number of new errors. Most of them pertain to the inability to roll back the installation it had attempted. No files from /Library/Application Support/Adobe/ssc/ appeared in the new log report.
To gain a better understanding of the logs, I downloaded AdobeSupportAdvisor and tried using it, but it referred me to online solutions that weren't relevant to my situation (i.e., one mentions Photoshop CS4 and I've never installed CS4).
I also tried following the articles from the Adobe knowledgebase:
cspid_84451: Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6
which is fine if you only have a few errors, and
cspid_83481: Installation, launch log errors | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CCM
which doesn't list error DF024.
At this point I've decided to not not make anymore attempts without some expert guidance.
The log file seem too large to post here. If you would like review the log, I can perhaps post it on www.pastebin.com unless you can suggest a better way. Please let me know.

Adobe premiere elements 10 install error on mac

I have tried to install the Premiere elements 10 on mac and fails every time with the following error

Trying to select the link in the report above takes me to the following ..

Which reports an error in a Windows environment ? and advices we ignore this error. However the installation does not go any further.. it quits and does not ask for the other disks to be installed.
Its been several times I have already tried to install and in between every install a restart of my mac pro

Photoshop Elements 8.0 errors on install

I have a new computer and when I try to install PS Elements 8.0 I get the following error:
"Photoshop Elements 8.0 error 1326:Error getting file security:C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organizer\8.0\Flash Galleries\Dynamic\ GetLastError: 5"
Any ideas what I can do to get this to install?

If you are installing from disk you could try copying the contents to a new folder on the desktop. Installation often works better from the desktop than from the disk drive.
I would suggest you start by uninstalling everything from the control panel then go to your new folder and find the install.exe or set-up.exe file and right-click on it and choose “Run As Administrator”
Before you start the fresh install, temporarily disable internet security/anti-virus software.

Photoshop elements 11 installer failed to initialize

I am attempting to install photoshop elements 11 on a macbook, and am getting an error message "Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem."
I downloaded Adobe Support Advisor, and it reported only the following error (although it is repeated many times):
Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 11.0 cpsid_90243r4: Error DW020 or DW050 occurs during installation - Creative Suite 5.5, Flash CS5.5, Flash Builder 4.5

How can I fix this so that it will let me install the product?

It appears that the Adobe Support Advisor was unable to detect the error which caused your installation failure. Please review your installation logs manually. I think I've tried this re-installation process about 12 times now. Seriously. I've been at this for more than 8 hours. I've been reading through forums, trying to find and delete various Adobe files, and I've had no luck.
Doing a clean OS install is really not an option. There are just too many pieces of software I'd have to re-install. But I'm at a loss as to what to try next. Any thoughts?

do not migrate adobe software. properly install it using adobe installation files.
