I purchased photoshop elements 12 student & teacher edition from Currys....I have the download files but they keep downloading as winzip.....please help as I would really like to be able to use the software

You might want to reconsider due to version 13 coming out a few weeks ago. MAybe you can change the purchase and exchange for version 13. In the meantime you could install the trial version and use those for 30 days while waiting for a serial number to appear.

After initiating download I receive a msg about not all parts archived and that I need to select a program to open.
I'm not a total dumb-bunny, but I am totally stuck!

How can I download and re-install Photoshop CS5 Extended Student and Teacher Edition (for Mac) for which I have a licence? I lost the previous version in a disk crash. I tried downloading the full Photoshop CS5 installer, but I was told I couldn't run the installer because I didn't have permission.

Be sure to right click and run the installer as an administrator if you have trouble. If it still fails, download the installer again.

I bought cs6 student and teacher edition, but it says in the instruction if i wanted to install it in mac, i should click the install.app.

but the dvd only got set-up.exe (only for windows)??? how can i install it to mac?

Hallo ich bin neu hier und wollte mich auch mal zum Adobe CC äussern.
Da ich jemand bin der alles auf dem neusten stand haben will hab ich nichts gegen dem mietmodell ich freue mich dafür immer Aktuell zu sein.
Nun hab ich gelesen das für Hobbyfotografen die mit Dslrs rumknipsen am Abo was geändert werden soll wegen dem Preis
den der Preis fürs Abo ist nur für Berufsfotografen und Leute die es sich leisten können für mich zu teuer schade.
Meine lösung währe das man als Hobbyfotograf sich auch die Version Adobe CC Student and Teacher Edition für Private kaufen dürfte Zwecke das währe die beste Lösung

An dieses Kompletpaket hatte ich tatsächlich auch zuerst gedacht aber leider ist dieses konzept nur für Altkunden gedacht die schon Adobe CS3 oder CS6 haben. Also bin ich schon mal ausgeschlossen von dem Angebot da es sich nur um ein Upgrade Abo handelt.
Ich habe ein Bericht über Adobe CS und Adobe element Vergleich gelesen deswegen brauche ich nach der besseren entscheidung
weis ich das ich nun doch nur Elements fürs Scannen und exportieren von Fotos brauch und im Adobe lightsroom 5 kann man sogar ja Raw Fotos drucken mit allem Farbräume deshalb werde ich wol kein Adobe CS brauchen.
Ich will ja nur die Raw Fotos anpassen und sonst so lassen wie sie sind und fürs Exportieren vorbereiten.

What can I do to change it to the Adobe Creative Cloud for ETLA that I need for my college courses.

I do not understand your issue, ETLA is just a educational form of CC, you have redeemed CC using redemption code on Jan 20, 2015, it valid for an year.
Are you talking about how to use it offline as desktop app, then you can use the CC without internet for up-to 90 days, you need to log in once in 90 days to keep the CC active.

Ich bin im Moment ein Student. Mein Studium geht noch 10 Monate lang.
Jetzt weis ich nicht so recht was sich für mich daheim mehr lohnt.

oder die Adobe Creative Cloud.
Ich könnte wärend meines Studiums das Angebot für 20€ im Monat nutzen, allerdings kann ich ja nach meinem Studium nicht einfach auf dem Studenten abo bleiben? Wie ist das geregelt? Denn sonst hänge ich ja wieder auf den 60€ im Monat......als privat Kunde....für meine eigenen Projekte.
Im Grunde wär die Creative Suite 6 bei dem Preis auf dauer bestimmt besser geeignet, aber ich habe Angst das die CS6 Versionen zu veraltet sind/zu schnell veralten.

Nun ja, "veraltet" ist keine Aussage. Das hängt ja wohl in erster Linie davon ab, was du für ein System verwendest und wie lange du es behalten willst. CS6 läuft prima auf Windows und wird es noch ein paar Jährchen, nur auf Mac wird's langsam finster, weil sich Apple nicht drum schert...

Submitting academic proof for Adobe Creative Cloud Student and Teacher Edition

I was contacted to validate my academic status for a Creative Cloud Student and Teacher Edition I purchased via adobe.com on May 14, 2014. The Education FAQ page (http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing /education-faq.html) states:
"Submit your proof of eligibility when you place your order. If you have a pending order, go to My Orders in your Adobe account, and click Submit Proof."
However, when I go to My Orders page, there is no link saying "Submit Proof". I do have my proof readily available, but I am not sure how else I can submit it.
I was told my subscription would be canceled in if I could not prove my academic status within 14 days (it was sent on July 2nd), and am still awaiting a response from Adobe Customer Support. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same problem. Have paid. Messages say I have downloaded it but the file is inaccessible apparently download is somewhere on my hard disk. How do I find it?? Is there not help at an Adobe phone service. If so what is the number to call??

Help with Download error in Creative Cloud Student and Teacher Edition

I have been paying for the Creative Cloud Student and teacher editions of the Adobe suite. I have two laptops. The cloud application installed fine in both, but I could not download the apps into my preferred machine, receiving a "Download Error" for my pains. The other laptop, with its small memory size, was not suitable for the programs and has recently crashed and passed on! So now I'm still left with half of my year's commitment to go and have still not been able to benefit from the programs. i have tried every which way to get them on my main computer, taking advice from the net but to no avail. Can I legally sell my older CS5 Premium Student and Teacher Edition?

Hi, this is my first time in this forum. I am a Graphic Design student and last year bought the Adobe CS5 Premium Student and Teacher Edition as advised by professor, only to find out now that he ill advised me. The Master Collection contains the programs that I need for my design classes and the student and teacher edition serves a significant discount but I don't know what I am to do about the $450 I spent just a year ago? My grandfather helps me with my educational expenses and I am so dissapointed to have to tell him that my advisor was ridiculous to not just tell me to get the Master last year and then all I would have had to do was to upgrade (a cheaper solution). Can I sell my old CS5 as long as I clearly state that is for personal use and could not be registered with Adobe because it already has? I've only used it on my Macbook Pro, no other computers. Any suggestions? That is alot of money in my book to just throw away.

To be even more explicit than Bob's short and correct response, you can not legally sell or in any way transfer your license for any student or academic version of any Adobe software to anyone else. We are very sorry that your professor provided poor advice to you.

What means something like:
