Elements 6 - able to download pictures but not videos.
I'm using Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 and I'm able to download pictures from my Sony camera & HandyCam but I'm not able to download videos. Is there an adjustment I need to make in the settings menu for accepting certain types of video files?

Is there a way for me to convert them or do I need to upgrade to a more recent version of Elements in order to be able to download video files in AVCHD format?

you probably should have two files, an exe and a 7z file in the same directory. if so, click (or double click) the exe.

Import pictures but not videos?

I am wondering about LR3 beta2.
I was importing all my images and LR3 also imports all my video that are in my images folders but I don't want LR3 to do that?
Is there any way to import only my images without moving my videos out of my images folders first because I don't want that.
LR2 didn't do it at all maybe because it didn't had that video support that LR3 has.
Please help me out!
Thx, GardarEBest posted to the Beta forum, but just de select the video files in the import dialogue if you don't want them in LR. This feature was constantly requested...not by me as I am annoyed by it as well, particularity as it now requires extra work when synchronising folders to avoid importing stuff that is irrelevant to my photographic work, but we are in a minority in this. Hopefully Adobe will include something in the catalog settings in the final release to turn this off.

GE Energy requires us to use SAP for business. I downloaded the SAP Java GUI 720, can see it in the download window. But once I try to install it, the following message is shown: "SAP Java GUI 720 MacOSX.JAR” can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. Your security preferences allow installation of only apps from the Mac App Store and identified developers."

I want to be able to download reader - but not install.
I maintain a number of computers and I am trying to download Adobe Reader v9.4 wiothout installing - just the executable. Adobe's website insists on installing the application rather than giving me the option to save to a location. Am I missing something? Feeling pretty frustrated at the moment. Appreciate any assistance.
They don't advertise it but you can get the full installers at their FTP site at ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/9.x/. You'll want to click
on the version number for the installer you want. 9.3 and 9.4 are full installers, the ones in between are the updates. -
I have signed in to my account and am able to brouse media but not download or purchase anything. The "buy" button is also white instead of blue and nothing happens when I click to buy. I am able to make purchaces on the same account on my iphone as well. What might be causing this issue?

I understand there have been outages. I was unable to sign into iTunes but within the last 5 minutes I was able to sign in- but not download apps. Has anyone else seen improvements in regards to the outages?

Almost all new cameras capture photos and videos. I have Photoshop Elements and Photoshop Premier. Is there a way to tell Photoshop to create a catalog of only pictures and not videos? And on same token tell Photoshop Premier to create a catalog of Video only and not pictures?
The downloader is the module which is used to get the files from your camera or card reader.
If you want to import files which are already on your computer, that is different. To get 'photos and videos' ... from 'files and folders', you have to browse your computer to the location of the photos. This selection process in made in your OS (Explorer or Finder). Then you can use your OS to sort by file type, and select the correct type, like jpeg; select the first item, then shift click the last one. All your jpegs are selected and imported. -

Go to Solution.Well the new Desktop Manager can ONLY sync up with a Media Card. You would need to download Desktop Manager 4 with Roxio Media Manager to access the device memory.

For about three weeks I haven't been able to download any apps, not even the free ones. My apple id billing information says that my security code on the back of my credit card is invalid. I called apple support and they told me to go to the express lane website but I still cant find a fix for my problem. If you could help me out that would be superb!!!!
Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorisations have the correct information on file.

Hi, I try to conect Mac Mini from 2009 with my HD Tv Samsung F 6400 . With Mini Dvi conection and adapter to HDMI input in TV I got picture but not sound! I have analog cable from the phones out from mac but imposible to conect to TV? Can you HLP?
You really need a newer Mac Mini with a true HDMI output, because that Mac Mini's DVI output does not support Audio.
You might try a 3.5mm to RCA adapter
from the Mac Mini's headphone jack to the TV's audio input,
but that would require being able to select the Audio input in the TVs menu while using it's HDMI input.
Optionally you could also use an external 2.1 Speaker System or patch the audio from the Mac Mini to your home stereo system to enhance that older Mac Mini's audio.
