Hello!
1. I am unable to preview a slide show in Elements with the sound? I have added audio clips to the slide show but I can't preview it in Elements so that it plays the sound. When I Output the slide show to Premier Elements the sound will play. Am I doing something wrong?
2. After I Output the slide show to Premier Elements it will orient some of my slides the incorrect way? They look fine in Elements but not when it gets over to Premier. How can I fix this?
3. Is there anyway to use the Tags on the photos within the slide show? I am building a slide show for a softball team and want to be sure that I have an equal # of shots of each player. I had done this before I put the photos into the show but now that they are in the show I want to remove some photos but do it equally. To filter by tags will make is so much easier.

How do I install Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements on a new hard drive?

My hard drive had to be replaced and Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements were not de-activated and unistalled before the hard drive was replaced. I have my original downloaded install programs and serial numbers. Thank You.

Simply install the programs. Contact support if you need to reset activation count. No magic involved beyond that.

I don't know ho but I have lost disc 2 from my Elements and Premier Elements 10 box - am I able to download this from this Adobe site?

Deleting photoshop elements and premier elements

After installing version 11 of protoshop elements and premier elements I find that I still have in the Adobe folder in the windows "program folder" photoshop elements 6 and one-on-one essentials. None of these show up in the control panel list of programs to uninstall. Do I need any part of photoshop elements 6 or one-on-one or can I merely delete the folders and all their contents.
Other Adobe programs I have installed are Reader X, Flash Player 11 and Adobe Air.

Each version of PSE is a self contained program and there is no need to delete earlier versions which work with the same images on your hard drive, without duplication.
I keep earlier versions as they often have different templates for creations and on-line galleries etc. It gives me the greatest choice. Normally I would say go ahead and uninstall earlier versions if you are short of disk space and don’t need them. However, if you don’t have the uninstall function via the control panel I would suggest you leave things as they are, as removing PSE6 in the past has been known to cause problems.

Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements 13

I just bought the package deal for Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements 13; however, my download says Microsoft but I need Mac OS. What do I do?!

You can go to adobe.com and re-download the MAC trial one. You can use the same keys as for Windows. if it does not work, please let me know.

Unable to use Organiser in both Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements

I am unable to use Organizer in both Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements. An error message appears, "The catalog could not be opened. An internal program error occurred."
I have tried to repair the catalog, starting a new catalog, and reinstalled both programs, but the error persists.
I am using Elements and Premier Elements V12 on Windows 8.1.
Any help to get me going again would be appreciated.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it didn't make any difference.
However, by trail and error I have found a 99% solution.
Right Click the Elements icon on Desktop.
Select Troubleshoot Compatibility.
Select Troubleshoot Program
Select a problem option (I used Other)
Select Windows Version (Windows 8 for me)
Select Test the Program
If it works, which it did in my case, Save the settings.
This seems to have resolved my problem, with the exception that I now get an extra screen when opening Elements to allow the program to make changes to my computer. I can live with that.
When I get time I will check whether there are any Adobe or Windows updates that will make this step unnecessary.
I hope this will help other people with the same problem.

Hi,
You can try to extract them to a folder and then try to install using the setup file.
Or you can try to download the .exe file ( Small File ) for the software you have and then run the .exe file and it will start the installation. Both .exe and .7z file for the application should be in same location.

I installed both Photoshop Elements-4 & Premier Elements-4 and used Photoshop Elements-4 for a couple of years. I then upgraded the photo portion by installing Photoshop Elements-6. Three questions:
1. Was Photoshop Elements-4 automatically uninstalled when I installed Photoshop Elements-6?
2. I deleted the Photoshop Elements-4 icon from my desktop. Is this okay to do since I no longer use Photoshop Elements-4?

No. Installing a new version of PSE doesn't interfere with an old one.

Do you mean PSE 4 and 6 don't appear in Control Panel > Add Or Remove Programs (XP) or Control Panel > Programs And Features (Vista)? If they don't appear, then part of your Windows registry has likely been corrupted. However, there's no reason to worry about not being able to uninstall PSE 4 unless you really, really need the relatively small amount of disk space (about 400 MB).

Premier Elements part of Elements and Premier Elements 13 upgrade won't install

I purchased Elements & Premier Elements 13 upgrade, but when installed download only Elements 13 installed, I have the product code for Premier Elements how do I get this installed?

There is no subscription version of Elements. Are you perhaps confusing Elements with the Adobe Creative Cloud?

Organizer will not open after downloading Adobe Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements

I first downloaded Premier and Photoshop from Dell Digital Download with a new computer. It appeared to be installed, and the opening screen appeared, but when I click on the Organizer side of either software, it will do nothing. Doesn't open. No error messages, it just doesn't open. I contacted Dell and they reinstalled - which took numerous tries - and it still didn't open Organizer. Then we contacted Adobe, who took over the computer after we downloaded it from Adobe instead. It still wouldn't open the Organizer side for them either. They said to post the question, they don't know how to fix it! Anyone?

I'm probably older than the tech guys combined age.
The welcome has often caused problems for many versions although not everyone suffers from it. The problem seems to be that a process gets stuck.
I usually recommend creating desktop shortcuts to each of the main programs. Most of the time I tend to start with the organizer and then I select an image and click on Editor button at the bottom of the organizer screen - that should load the image into the editor.
The editor can be found here.

If you want to get back to the welcome screen, load the organizer, go to the Help menu and select Welcome screen. Then click on the gear wheel (top right) and you can change the settings.
One little tip if you are new to PSE 12, in the organizer go to the Edit menu and select Preferences -> Media-Analysis. Turn off all the options. The other thing to do is to go to the Help menu and select Updates. You should be on version 12.1.

Hello, I did pay online element 12, photo editor and film editor, started the dowloading through akamai, supposed to be done but finally nothing. my computer is a OSX version 10.9.1 2.8 GHz intel core i7, 4gb 1333 mhz ddr3.
Also i bought first the programs in France, but lost the license number, didn t knoz that i needed one... lost while traveling. I used the program as trial for 24 days and then I decided to purchase element a second time.... I have put myself twice in trouble.
Any one can help me?

I tried to upgrade PSe-13 and get Error Code: U44M1I210. I restarted and had loaded Elements and Premier elements separately and got same error code for both. Someone said to Remove and reinstall but has that worked for anyone??

Error 213 indicates there was problem locating the update or an incorrect URL. The troubleshooting steps are still the same as both errors are related to failure of the current network connection.
