Elements trial version does not finish installation
Hi,
i downloaded photoshop elements trial version on my laptop at work and want to install it on my private computer. I use the downloaded files. The setup interrupted several times at some point where it can't temporarily safe a .mst file (never the same file). I closed Kaspersky Antivirus and Zonealarm Firewall but the error is still there. No other programs are running during the installation. I don't want to download it again, since my internet connection at home is so slow that it takes a whole day to download this huge installation file. What can i do?

Ok I have reviewed your logs as well and I located the following errors:
DS011 which is stating it is having problems with the content of your install files.
Do you have access to another computer with a faster Internet connection? You could download the install files on that other computer and copy them via USB drive to your computer at home?
I did also look for the return value 3 error but was unable to find anything so you are right it does not appear the analyzer found anything actionable. This is why sometimes it is neccessary to review the log files manually.

After 'playing' some more I've come to the conclusion that this is an account specific problem. Logged in to my wife's ID, same iMac, ran through setups and voila, all the sharing options are working. I booted in to Safe Mode, logged out of iCloud, Twitter, restarted (normal), set up iCloud, etc again but still no services for me. I hope one of our 'genius' community people can work this out (shouldn't have to) so I'm hoping Apple can sort this with their next update, if not sooner!

I just downloaded adobe photoshop element trial version.
The plug-in is not working with my already installed Lightroom.
Any idea what I need to do?

Trial version does not work properly
I downloaded the Encore DVD 2.0 trialversion and I have the impression that it is not fully functional i.e.
- very few menus in the library, compared to what appears from the Help
directory
- the frame by frame buttons on the monitor do not work
- the button routing cannot be changed, whatever I tried
- specifying a new name in Disc > Properties has no effect: the player
window still shows: Unknown DVD
Since I already spent much time searching for functions that apparently are missing, could anyone please let me know what I am doing wrong or which functions are disabled in the trial version?

To make a disc show up with the correct name in Media Player, the title would need to be registered with www.windowsmedia.com
It's the same reason a home cooed CD will show up as "Unknown CD" until it gets registered with the Freedb database.
Activation.
You cannot activate the trial version - this times out after 30 days, and you will need to uninstall it & then re-install the full version - as you cannot enter a serial number to a trial copy.
Functionality is identical, but there is a much larger library with the full version.
Chapter Points.
These can only be placed on GOP headers, or approximately every 0.4 or 0.5 seconds. However, if using an AVI file, Chapter points can be placed anywhere at all as long as you leave a gap of 0.5 seconds minimum between points. When it gets transcoded to MPEG-2, the transcoder will create GOP headers at each chapter point. As such, an AVI will allow greater accuracy in placement.

From the Adobe website says to download the Premiere Pro version CC tests, I need to install the Creative Cloud. I did it, but the icon will not appear Premiere to download ... Could anyone help me?

Try downloading the trial. It ought to detect that you have a 64-bit system.
You aren't using Vista, are you? PSE 13 requires at least win 7 and I think a few folks with vista have gotten a similar error message on trying to install it. -

Have you checked whether you have folder for PSE Organizer? It is normally at this location in Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1:
<C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 12 Organizer>
If the folder is there then try double-clicking on the file called: PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe
If the folder isn't there at all then you need to re-install the package again using your original disks or from download from Adobe website. <Download Photoshop Elements products | 13, 12, 11, 10>

Creating Oracle Inventory Installation Step Does Not Finish and Hangs at 99% while installing Hyperion 11.1.1.4.I'm running the installer from a local drive and also noticed that the uninstaller files are not created.The installer process has been running for 4+ hours.
Any suggestions/tips?

we left the installer running overnight, but the install process has still not completed.Also it has not created any uninstaller files under the following directory:
E:\APPS\Hyperion\uninstall
what could be the reason for that?

Error during ABAP 7.01 trial version install on Vista - installation exited
im re-installing NSP trial version for the 5th time and get the error below. I followed all instructions:
- removed old installation folders
- removed th port numbers in services
- switched off AV and firewall
- removed entries from registry
- ran the regtool
- rebooted system
but still get the error below - can you please help

i. windows command regedit ->software and delete the whole SAP folder
ii. at least disable the services (I had old SAP.. entries) (you did windows command sc delete)
iii. I had an NSP version and so deleted the whole of C:SAP folder and c:sapdb folder
iv. I went to windows software management and removed the trial version or went to Start->Programs and deleted the Trial version there.
v. In Start->Programs->MaxDB (or, once, in software management) I deleted all MaxDB entries.
As far as I remember everything was then removed.
The successful installation then was as follows:
I successfully downloaded from http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/nw-downloads and successfully ran the installation:
1) the download wasnt possible the first few times I tried - the download popup did not appear and I received a message with the word "scnsorry" instead. I just had to keep trying.
2) I downloaded the entry
"SAP NetWeaver 7.01 SR1 SP3 ABAP Developer Edition ".
Another entry, also offered for download, "SAP NetWeaver 7.01 - ABAP Trial Version " did not install and seemed to be in error. (Installed "successfully" in just 4 minutes and showed no MaxDB files in the unzipped folder).
3) I followed the instructions and the installation (some 27 steps) ran for 7 hours.
4) I am on a laptop with Windows Vista 6.0 Build 6002 SP2. (It is in German, not English, but this was not a problem, although it is sometimes mentioned that one should use an english-language OS).
5) After installation I could log on at once.
I recommend this way because it saves so much time.
What put me on the right path was a comment by Markus Doehr on In AbapTrial7.01 NSP the Dispatcher stops after 1:15 minutes. -

I have two iMacs that I've upgraded to Mavericks 10.9.1. Both started out OK but no longer allow Time Machine to complete backups. The one I'm on now, older 24", has a fresh 500GB external HD for TM, reformated correctly. Says backup size 147GB. Get
