Email is at a crawl. I have compacted. What else should I do?
I changed the automatically compact to 1 in each field (was at a different default) ...it takes about 60 seconds between screen changes...I am going crazy

sue55, this Questions section used to be support for Firefox on desktop and Android then for Firefox OS only. Other stuff including Thunderbird was added here more recently. Thunderbird support was moved from getsatisfaction to here as Thunderbird questions started on February 21.
There are still some things that needs to be fixed that mention Firefox and not the product like Thunderbird.
It is one forum separated by a product search. Your questions did get posted under the Thunderbird produce as you can see on right sidebar of both questions.

I would suggest using Apple's Pages which allows support for imbedding videos from the device's camera roll. Pages also allows for sharing via email, Air Drop, and Messages. -
I am trying to download a free app and keep getting the message 'unable to download application' and says I have to sign in to the iTunes store...which I have! What else do I need to do?

Certain websites do not load correctly, the webpage sometimes does not display. Upgraded to current version of Java, this did not solve the problem. The most blatant thing I noticed is that when I hit the plus button to open a new tab, the page that displays displays my nine most favorite websites, all nine have descriptions, but only two or three display the actual web page.
I also have hotmail and when I try to load some pages directly from the e-mail I get the message Javascript needs to be enabled.Are you using any cleanup software like CCleaner that might cleanup the cache?

One day I was going to download music from my laptop to my ipod, I was able to download all the songs I wanted but later when I try to charger my ipod it wouldn't let me. The next day I bought a new charger but it still didn't charger. I try pressing the power And home button at the same time but it still wouldn't turn on or charger.
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer

Try following these steps:
1) Open iTunes on your computer and sign into your account.
2) Click the Account link under the QuickLinks list
3) There should be an Edit Button by your credit card and billing information. Click the edit button next to the section you wish to make changes to.
4) Enter in your changes. Make sure your billing address matches exactly what is listed on your credit card statement, becuase variation can lead to purchases not going through properly.
5) When all of the information is up to date, save your changes.

When you plug in earphones, or anything in the audio output port, it should be reflected in SYSTEM PREFERENCES>SOUND. If not, try a PRAM reset.

Emails sent to me are sometime returned to the sender with the message "Inbox full" even though I have maybe less than 100 emails in the Inbox and I regularly compact them. I delete emails from the Inbox and the Sent and Trash boxes to overcome this. How can I increase the storage space to stop this happening?Hi terrybohle1938,
Firefox is a web browser. It provides access to online content. Things like your email are handled by the content provider. Who is your email provider? You'll have better luck consulting their documentation.
That being said, deleting only email is a great way to free up space. Another option would be to purchase a "Premium" account if your email provider offers this service. Many times more storage space is offered as part of paid subscription.

i cant use mail to send an email. it goes to my out box and then eventually comes up with this dialogue :
"An error occurred while sending this message using the SMTP server “(null)”
Select a different outgoing mail server from the list below or click Try Later to leave the message in your Outbox until it can be sent."
I have to click Try Later and then quit mail , then restart Mail and then if I am lucky the email will be sent. the next time I have to send an email the same thing happens . I have to go through this everytime i want to send an email. its a really time consuming vicious circle which is extremely annoying,
