Email messages appear on BlackBerry via Redirector but disappear from Outlook 2003

Email messages appear on BlackBerry Model 8310 via Redirector but disappear from Outlook 2003 mostly when the messages have attachments regardless of file size.

Hey RR-2010,
Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums.
Do you have the synchronize option enabled for reconcile messages in BlackBerry Desktop Manager?
Also is there any reason why you're using BlackBerry Desktop Redirector?  Have you tried setting up the email account via BlackBerry Internet Service?

  • Copy an email manually from Outlook 2003 SP3 to Tour 9630

    I have a Tour 9630 v5.0.0.591 (Bundle 1059, BES Platform 4.2.0.284) on the Verizon network.  My emails stopped being delivered to the Tour, so I had to perform an Enterprise Activation, which was successful.  I am now receiving emails on the Tour, but I can't get any of the older ones to be delivered to my Tour that are in Outlook 2003 when I synchronize.  Is there a manual method to "drag and drop" via a file explorer/manager concept?  Or any other way of accomplishing this?  Thank you.

    I purchased and downloaded eMailchemy from WeirdKid Software and it worked great. It is a native Mac application that converted some 85,000 emails along with attachments and entire mailbox hierarchy intact from Outlook 2003 for Windows .pst format stored on my Mac into archive mail files for Entourage for Mac. This was exactly what I needed and well worth the $28.00 to get it done right the first time, even if I don't need the software anymore.
    Just wanted to let you know in case someone else ran across a similar requirement.

  • Moving emails from Outlook 2003 to OWA

    I'm switching to OWA from Outlook 2003.  Most of the emails I had saved could be deleted, but I have one folder that I need to migrate to OWA.  I've been trying to figure it out without any luck.  If someone could point me in the right direction
    I would sure appreciate it.
    Thanks,
    Tim

    Hi Tim,
    From your description, I'm not sure what is the purpose of doing that. Could you please explain it furthermore?
    We can see all the folders of our mailbox both on Outlook and OWA. Generally, there is no need to save the emails manually on Outlook and then copy it to OWA.
    Hope my clarification is helpful.
    Best regards,

  • My iphone 4s is randomly not sending emails.  The message appears in the sent box, but the receipient is not geeting the message.  Suggestions?

    I have attempted the recommended fixes; power off the phone and I have deleted the email account and readded the account.  I also signed into the email account.  The problem is not witth my email account.  This is a very disturbing problem.  I purchased the iphone to reliably communicate.  I have no idea which emails are sent since they are all appearing in my sent folder, but the receipient is not getting the email message.  I regret upgrading to IOS7.  This was not a problem under the older opperating systems.  I tested this with my first generation iPad.  I sent a message successfully to the receipient using my ipad 1.  Does anyone have any other fixes to try?
    The biggest concern is that the phone just randomly decides that certain emails are not sent!  I am becoming very disillusioned with apple products - great way to destroy a good thing!  The android market is looking more appealing everyday.

    I had that problem and seemed to have solved it by deleting my email accounts and then reinstalling.  I think there was a HARD reset involved also, but since it was just after I got my new 4S (6 weeks ago), I'm not sure about the reset.

  • I use Blackberry and normally the hotmail is pushed to my Blackberry but not it won't work and I got e-mail to leave email messages on the client sever (mozilla) but I don't know how to do it.

    This is what I have been told to do.If you use an email client (e.g. Microsoft(R) Outlook(R), Mozilla(R) Thunderbird(TM), etc.) to access your [email protected] messages, change your email client settings to leave your email messages on the server. If the email client does not leave email messages on the server, the BlackBerry(R) Internet Service may not be able to deliver them to your BlackBerry(R) device.

    Thunderbird support is over here.

  • When checking out for an online purchase, an " invalid email " message appears. It is a gmail acct.

    When checking out for an online purchase from varied vendors, an "email not valid" message appears preventing completion of order. How to fix?

    Are you typing the email address each time or using auto fill? If you are using auto fill, have you tried deleting that is in there and typing the email address again?

    Hey SDGardella,
    Thanks for the question. I understand that you are receiving error 499 when attempting to download purchases from the iTunes Store. The following resource outlines this error message:

  • IPod appears in iTunes, but disappears from Desktop

    Just recently, whenever I plug my 3G 20GB iPod into my dock connect via Firewire to my iMac, it launches iTunes as normal, appears on the Deskop, syncs with iTunes and then disappears from the Desktop.
    Then if I eject my iPod from iTunes and leave it connected to my dock to charge, and later relaunch iTunes it freezes and takes a force quit and a log out to get things working again.
    I tried resetting and resyncing the iPod last week and have also trashed the iTunes prefs, but nothing seems to have worked as yet.
    Any ideas?
    iMac G5 20" 2.1GHz iSight, 1.5GB RAM, 250GB HD   Mac OS X (10.4.8)   Power Mac G5 Dual 2.3GHz, 2.5GB RAM, 160GB HD

    The first part of your description sounds normal when using Auto updating and having disk mode DIS-abled. Mine shows up in iTunes when connected, then I eject it from iTunes and it does not appear on my desk top.
    Try going into the iPod setting in iTunes and enabling disk mode and see if that works any better. You will have to manually eject the iPod from the desk top though, before unplugging it.

  • Exchange tasks disappear from Outlook when they appear on the Pre

    I am using EAS on my pre, with Outlook 2007 (and Exchange Server 2007).  In Outlook, I use the calendar weekly view which shows the tasks at the bottom on the day they are due.  My pre has synced without any trouble.  However, when the reminder for a task shows up on my pre, the task disappears from my calendar in Outlook.  It is still in my master task list and to-do bar, but doesn't show up "on the day it's due".  Once I've completed the task, it shows back up on the calendar, marked as completed.  I see all future tasks on the calendar as usual until the reminder shows up.  I was trying to see if I could sync via EAS, without syncing tasks, as a possible solution, but haven't found a way to do that.  Has anyone else encountered this?

    Hi Joseph,
    Could the emails be deleted via OWA and not displaying in Outlook?
    Please try to create a new profile and set it to online mode, then test the issue and see if it still appears in OWA.
    If it doesn’t work, I’d recommend you contact with Exchange admin for further troubleshooting.

  • Copy emails from Outlook 2003 to BB

    Is there a way to copy emails from MS Outlook 2003 to my Blackberry? I am using BIS not BES.

    Well, perhaps not so strange. BB's aren't by design an email storage device...they are a wireless email handling device...having history of emails prior to the BB's existence (as far as activation is concerned) might be contradictory to the basic design characteristics. I realize that WM devices indeed sync the entire mailbox...but that's WM...not BB.

  • When my husband set up my 2gmail accounts and hit get messages,all of my gmail did not transfer from Outlook to thunderbird

    I have 2 gmail accounts- one in Outlook 2007 and one I access from gmail directly. The messages from gmail transfered fine. The messages on Outlook did not. Today, I went through and deleted many of the old email messages on both accounts, emptied the trash, restarted the computer, open ed thunderbird and hit "get messages". All the old messages are still present. How do I sync the messages to update? How to I get the messages on Outlook?

    You could set up Thunderbird on the old computer and transfer the files to that, then copy them to the new computer.

  • Send email to muliple clients using Oracle Forms 6i through MS Outlook 2003

    I am working on oracle Forms 6i and Oracle 9i (9.2.0.1) database. My requirement is How to trigger email sending to multiple clients at a time while using Oracle Forms 6i through Microsoft Outlook 2003?
    To do this I have written the following code.
    PROCEDURE send_mail IS
    OutlookApp OLE2.OBJ_TYPE;
    NameSpace OLE2.OBJ_TYPE;
    MailItem OLE2.OBJ_TYPE;
    OLEPARAM OLE2.LIST_TYPE;
    Send OLE2.OBJ_TYPE;
    Attachments OLE2.OBJ_TYPE;
    Attachment_dummy OLE2.OBJ_TYPE;
    var1 varchar2(1000);
    Begin
    var1 := :mapiole.message;
    OutlookApp := OLE2.CREATE_OBJ('Outlook.Application');
    OLEPARAM := OLE2.CREATE_ARGLIST;
    OLE2.ADD_ARG(OLEPARAM,'MAPI');
    NameSpace := OLE2.INVOKE_OBJ(OutlookApp,'GetNameSpace',OLEPARAM) ;
    OLE2.DESTROY_ARGLIST(OLEPARAM);
    OLEPARAM := OLE2.CREATE_ARGLIST;
    OLE2.ADD_ARG(OLEPARAM,0);
    MailItem := OLE2.INVOKE_OBJ(OutlookApp,'CreateItem',OLEPARAM);
    OLE2.DESTROY_ARGLIST(OLEPARAM);
    OLE2.SET_PROPERTY(MailItem,'To',:to);
    OLE2.SET_PROPERTY(MailItem,'Subject',:subject);
    OLE2.SET_PROPERTY(MailItem,'Body', var1);
    --add an attachment
    if :mapiole.attach is not null then
    Attachments := OLE2.GET_OBJ_PROPERTY(MailItem,'Attachments');
    OLEPARAM := OLE2.CREATE_ARGLIST;
    OLE2.ADD_ARG(OLEPARAM,:attach);
    Attachment_dummy := OLE2.INVOKE_OBJ(Attachments,'add',OLEPARAM);
    OLE2.DESTROY_ARGLIST(OLEPARAM);
    end if;
    Send := OLE2.INVOKE_OBJ(MailItem,'Send');
    --destroy objects
    OLE2.RELEASE_OBJ(MailItem);
    OLE2.RELEASE_OBJ(NameSpace);
    OLE2.RELEASE_OBJ(OutlookApp);
    END;
    Create a block called MAPIOLE with the following canvas layout:
    To:      ============================
    Subject: ============================
    Message: ============================
    ============================
    Attachment: ============================           SEND
    When I press the SEND button then
    Error comes "FRM-40735: WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED trigger raised unhandled exception
    ORA-305500
    How can I do this?
    Please help me.
    Thanks.

    Do you have a requirement to use MS-Outlook from the Client or simple send email to a list of recipients? If the requirement is simply to send email to a list of recipients, I suggest you use UTL_SMTP from the database to send your email rather than OLE to Outlook on the Users computer. Search OTN or the forums for 'MAILDEMO' and you will find many examples on how to send email from the database.
    Hope this helps.
