Email reply randomly will right justify, signature too

This is my bosses iphone. When he replied to an email, his response and signature right-justified (So, while he was typing it is fine.)
I searched all over and only found a left-right justification method relating to older iphones through adding an additional keyboard from countries that start on the right, where you would then get little arrows upon a formating operation, such as copy/paste to left/right justify.
Here on this iphone 5/iOS7.1.1, I have been unable to locate how this happened or how to set/unset it.
It's company email through a Microsoft exchange server.
Here's is a kicker:
On his iPhone, in Sent Mail, it looks fine.
In his Outlook, in Sent Mail, it was right justified.
Didn't appear to occur on composing a new email.
Any ideas to this confounding issue? Is it some sort of bug? Or is there a definant setting somewhere or combination of settings.
I don't readily have access to his phone, so I'll have to troubleshoot on mine.

Our investigations were finished with the same which is described in the note mentioned by you. Unfortunatetly we could not provide access to our landscape for SAP support team for further investigation at that time due to some reasons .
BTW, we were done with some workaround for this issue.
Probably we should raise one more note asking to downport this fix to 6.0 version too.

Right justified data into internal table

**Hello Gurus,**
I have an Internal table having data
abc          10.00;   20.00    30.00
def           20.00    00.00     40.00
Total        30.00    20.00     70.00
I want to align my "Total" word to be right justified.
and if the particular column is having "00.00"; amount it should not be display.
and i want to bold the particular row only. i.e. my "Total" should be bold.
can anybody help me to resolve this problem

Hi Kaustubh,
As Vijay said, you can specify your display conditions in ALV as the snippet shows...But, In fact u need not even populate the total field in the third row...
While creating the field catalog, just assign 'X' to the do_sum option in the field catalog...then simply pass the internal table containing the first two records in to the REUSE_ALV* FMs and the ALV would sum these columns up and show the total in standard formatting...saves you a lot of code
Eg. Lets say your fieldcatalog structure is wa_fieldcat and its table is it_fieldcat...u will need to do this while preparing the fcat...
WA_FIELDCAT-FIELDNAME = 'WA_ITAB-COL1'. --> the field u want to sum.
WA_FIELDCAT-TABNAME = 'ITAB'. --> Your Internal Table
WA_FIELDCAT-DO_SUM = 'X'.
APPEND WA_FIELDCAT TO IT_FIELDCAT.
CLEAR WA_FIELDCAT.
WA_FIELDCAT-FIELDNAME = 'WA_ITAB-COL2'.
WA_FIELDCAT-TABNAME = 'ITAB'.
WA_FIELDCAT-DO_SUM = 'X'.
APPEND WA_FIELDCAT TO IT_FIELDCAT.
CLEAR WA_FIELDCAT.
The FM would then generate the ALV with the columns summed up at the bottom. The best part is it takes care of the currency and quantity reference too...

Blackberry email reply headers

Hi,
I am working on an use case where in an email reply from blackberry user should be captured and processed.
My systems sends a mail to the blackberry user with proper messageId set in email headers and when the user replies back from blackberry, I do not see any In-reply-to or references headers in the reply email header.
Is there any configuration that needs to be done in order to get this working?

I NEED to use icloud mail on both iPhone 4s AND my PC. I need to use both.
Trying to use icloud mail on PC is mega glitchy (STOP SCRIPT WARNINGS EVERY FEW MINUTES) and frustrating because:
1. my PC is ancient (but nicely refurbished/fast)
2. I run XP (with both Firefox and Chrome- newest versions)
3. thusly, I DO NOT MEET SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS for iCloud.
In my passed attempts I found that
1. Yahoo doesn't work well on iPhone
2. Gmail doesnt work well on iPhone.
I must be missing something... an app or... maybe a donated/ NEW FREE MAC! (That would be sweet! Ha.)

@Naiks, having suffered through unsuccessful synching attempts for Calendar and Contacts myself, l would suggest you try the following:
UNINSTALL iCloud control panel from your PC. Seems silly, but do it.
Go into Outlook, and look at the very top menu. Click FILE, then ACCOUNT SETTINGS, then click the popup box.
You will see a list of all your email accounts. Make sure that ONE of them has a checkmark against it. If not, select the account your want as your default, and click "set as default.
Exit out of Outlook and reboot your machine.
Now reinstall iCloud, check CALENDAR and CONTACTS, and do as instructed when prompted.
Reboot for good luck and now launch OUTLOOK. All that remains is to locate your iCloud Contacts and Calendar files, and make them your default.
IMPORTANT: Don't panic if you can't find your contacts -- they're there. Click CONTACTS and you'll see you have several available contact files. Locate the one label "iCloud" in grey type. Right-click on it, select PROPERTIES, then click the Outlook Address Book tab. Check the box that says something like "Make this my default Outlook Address Book." Keep clicking "apply" and "okay" until you've exited out of the dialog box maze.
You may have to do something similar with your Calendar files. I dd not, but if you need to, do it.
Everything should now sync pretty seamlessly.

I figured out the solution to the problem. First I de-authorized her ipad in my itunes account and in Settings : Mails-Contacts -Calendars, I deleted Yahoo as her default mail account. It was that simple afterall and I didn't need to reset anything.

IPhone 3G displaying emails in random order / not displaying some at all

My iPhone is displaying emails in random order - mainly oldest first at the moment. Since I can't set viewing preferences I would like to know how to get iPhone mail back to normal behaviour. For some reason it is not displaying emails from 5 December to 30 November as well.
I have deleted my .mac mail account and re-instated it to no avail.
I should add that my mac.com webmail is behaving similarly strangely. Instead of displaying emails by most recent first it decided to display them by oldest first.
Since I have not done anything differently and this behaviour came out of the blue I am pretty puzzled.
Mail.app on my Powerbook works fine btw.

First try Resetting it: Hold down the home and sleep button, ignore the red OFF slider, wait for the Apple logo then let go.
If that does not work, Restore your iPhone in iTunes from your backup.
If that still does not fix it, Restore your iPhone and a new phone (not from backup) and see how it works. If it is doing fine you have a app you are using that is probably causing your problem. Load them one and a time until the problems recur and you will have found the one that is a problem.

I made amistake in the email address that will prevent verification. I tried to correct it and there was no way. Then I tried doing everything again but it was impossible to start from scratch since the system kept using the wrong address and there was no place I could write a new correct. Chat did answer my question.

If you make a mistake with your email address when signing up for a free EchoSign account, then you need to create a new account using your right address. Though I don't think that is what you were trying to do?

Images in Email Reply Templates

Hi experts,
I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to add/embed images into the Email Reply Templates.
We are using email queues in BCM (SP4.1) on its own (no CRM integration) and need to include a company image in the reply email.
If it can't be done in the templates, can it be done directly in the response email?
Have tried copying the image and signatures from an outlook template into the reply email in the CDT, but this has had inconsistent results.
The text is there, but it's hit or miss on the image.

For example

Though one potential problem with this is that depending on the receiver's e-mail client it may block auto-download of external images.

A user notice during testing that 'cursor not right-justifying' in a field on a form. There were not such problem in the old forms enviroment 10.1.2.0.2 and clients running JInitiator 1.3.1.22. The new forms enviroment is Oracle weblogic 10.3.6, Oracle forms and report 11.1.1.6.0, using forms demo pack cursorpos.jar and demo90.jar, have try the 11g demo pack but still the same problem, any ideas?

You will find noticable differences between the way the Oracle Jinitiiator and Oracle (Sun) Java work. Remember, the Jinitiator was based on the Sun JRE/JDK 1.3 and Forms 11g will be using either Java 1.6.0 or 1.7.0.

We need to link a "Click here for info" graphic to an email reply. Effectively, when user clicks image, he/she is led to their default email client (e.g., gmail) with the To:, Subject: and From: completed. Can anyone help? We're using Dreamweaver CS4.

Are you talking about an html email?
In all honesty, the mailto: link shouldn't really ever be used for two main reasons...
1. Browser based email clients will do nothing when the link is clicked
2. Your email address is primed and available for any and all spam harvester bots that happen across it
If you don't mind that your viewers/recipients get the "nothing happened" effect when they click the link or that you may start receiving an inordinate number of discount pharmaceuticals advertisements from seemingly upstanding sites run by a group of down on their luck Nigeria doctors, sure, it will work fine.

Hello, Can anyone tell me how to change the default colour for my signature and email replies from BLUE to BLACK?Currently, I only see the option to 'format' each individual email reply. Lpad .. correct use to right justify a char field?

I have a column that's a char type, and I'm trying to manipulate justification within it.
SQL> create table test (test char(14));
Table created.
SQL> insert into test values (' 001234567890');
1 row created.
SQL> select * from test;
TEST
001234567890
..I have no probs making it left justified using ltrim
SQL> update test set test=ltrim(test);
1 row updated.
SQL> select * from test;
TEST
001234567890
...but when I try to right justify using lpad I can't get it to work:
SQL> update test set test=lpad(test,14,' ');
1 row updated.
SQL> select * from test;
TEST
001234567890
..this should pad the column with blanks to make the string 14 in length right?
What am I doing wrong?

Hi, Adam,
A CHAR (14) column is always 14 characters long. If you insert a shorter string, it is automatically RPADded.
If LENGTH (test) = 14, then
lpad(test,14,' ')
simply returns test. So your UPDATE statement is equivalent to
update test set test= test;
Every row will get UPDATEd, but nothing will get changed.
To have the strings left-padded, use LPAD before INSERTing, or use UPDATE wtih LPAD and TRIM, like this:
UPDATE test
SET     test = LPAD ( RTRIM (test)
                    , 14
                    );

Trying to set up a group email "RAM" that will contain multiple email addresses. Receive error messages "check SMTP settings" or "Invalid email address" when I try to send a message to the group.

I am trying to set up the group email "RAM" that will contain multiple email addresses. I have inputted the name "RAM" as a corporation. In the section labeled "Email" I have inputed multiple email addreses so that when I want to send an email to the group "RAM" I just have to input the name "RAM" in the section labeled "To" , input the Subject in the Subject box & the email will be sent to the multiple addresses, yet when I do I receive either one of two error messages being "Invalid Email Address" or "Check SMTP settings" each of which allows me the option of with cancelling the email or send it anyway.

Bump. I'd like to know, too. I even have some synched Groups from my Apple Address Book I email to using Apple Mail on the Powerbook, but I can't see how to do a group mailing on the Touch either.
In normal Mail, I just start typing the name of the group, and it autocompletes, I hit return, and it fills in all addresses in the Group.
