Embedding video in PDF, keeps says it cant convert and need Acrobat Pro Extended?
I have Acrobat Pro 9 and with using the tool to embed video which seems to convert to a flash format, it keeps coming back saying its unable to convert and that I would need Acrobat Pro Extended. I tried a handfull of different video types and every one that I chose gave me the same message. All it will seem to do is somehow link to the video whcih will use the viewer installed on that persons computer to run. It seems to give you the ability to convert video over but it doesnt let you for anything you choose, what am I doing wrong?
I have Acrobat Pro 9 Extended at work which I tried the same thing with and of course, that worked. Is the Extended part by any chance just a patch for Pro 9 or is it a totally different purchase?

If the multmedia file(s) meet the identified requirements for Professional it is "in".
If the multimedia file(s) do not, then conversion is required - but conversion is only available in Pro Extended.
That you get a "need conversion" message, from Pro that would be indicative of an input that does not meet the specified requirements for direct use in Pro.
An alternative might be to try "Create Legacy ..."
Legacy multimedia will rely on the end-user having the appropriate player application installed.

My new MacBook Retina cannot play any videos on any browser. This includes the Apple videos. It keeps saying Missing Plug-In. I am not sure what I am supposed to do. Can someone please help me out?

It's called a dock connector, not a USB port.
i found a product in the online store, that i guess you place the ipod mini on, and it gives you up to 20 or so more hours of time but then it says that you have to have a firewire port or cable?
What is it? The firewire port is on the computer, not the iPod.
If the original battery is going bad, the first thing to do is get that sorted out. -
How to play embedded video in PDF
Hi, does anybody know if it's possibible to play embedded video in PDF. We created PDF's with embedded MP4 content that plays nicely in Adobe Reader Win/Mac version but not under Android.

Try disabling the computer's antivirus and firewall during the download and restore. If still problem come back with the exact wording of the error message.

You may want to try and reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
Note: Data will not be affected but settings for Wi-Fi, FaceTime, Message, Home Sharing, Wall Paper, Sound etc will be reset -

Trying to Download PDF, keeps saying update adobe
I have been trying to download a transcript for several days. Whenever I click on the PDF it says Adobe not updated and says update again. I have reinstalled adobe multiple times on several computers (Mac and PC). Not sure what is going on but I need to access the PDF immediately.

I am trying to log onto a Mac Mini I haven't used in awhile and I forgot the password. I am trying to reset the password with my apple ID but the computer keeps saying the Apple ID and the password are incorrect whenever I know they are, as I am using the exact same ID right now.
I have switched my password in the past, so my theory is my mac mini thinks that my password has not changed and it will not update because The Wi-Fi password has also changed so it cannot connect to any servers...Does that sound like I am on the right track?
Is there a way to update my Wi-Fi password (saved into the computer) without logging on?If the user account is associated with an Apple ID, and you know the Apple ID password, then maybe the Apple ID can be used to reset your user account password.
Otherwise, boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.

Security question keep saying they are wrong and I know they are right. I can't change them cuz when I try it tells me to answer the questions. I have tried everything changing my account and all and still can't get it can some one please help me out.
Go here and select "Reset your password." You will receive an email message with a link that bypasses the questions. You will then be able to select and answer the questions again.

I switched to mountain lion and from Acrobat pro 9 to 10. now safari will not open pdf files. acrobat preferences says it is trying to use version9 to open and i removed version 9. any ideas?

My Ipod keeps saying "Do not disconnect" and the update ipod is not working

I just got my ipod nano a couple of days ago and after loading the itunes and then plugging in the ipod i unplugged it when it said do not disconnect without thinking. Now when i plug in my nano it keeps saying do not disconnect and although the ipod symbol appears on the itunes, no instructions have popped up to explain how the music transfers even though it says it in the booklet and when i click file the update ipod button isn't clickable. I'm just wondering if there's anything i could doWelcome to the discussions.

Thank you very much, i read the link on the manual and my preference was set to manually manage songs and after reading it i was able to put a couple of songs on to the ipod which is a lot better than where i was about an hour ago lol
