Embeded forms and form responses. Several questions

I am trying to set up some forms for our clients to fill out so that they can pass on some project specifications to us. I have not set up the web side of things but essentially I want clients to log into our website and be redirected to a their specific client page. The client page should show the existing form responses. Below the responses will be a link for "New Project". This link takes them to an embedded "New Project" form. Once they fill out the form and click submit they will recieve the stadard thank you and an email with the info that they included. I will also recieve an email with the info that they submitted. They will be redirected to their specific client page showing the responses inlcuding the newest one.
Would this work? It all makes sense to me except the part where they are essentially submitting the same form over and over again. Will there be a conflict?
Would it be possible for them to edit a response and provide new ones?

There should be no conflict submitting the form over and over by single or multiple respondents.

Will you provide more details on this workflow, how would your client edit the response?

I believe the "show the existing form responses" is one form and the "New Project embedded form is another form, correct?
You should be able to publish the responses for the existing form and for the "New Project" embedded form.

It's been a few days since I learning JavaFX language and I have several questions :
- I tried to use Reflection through FXContext but there are some methods which are not documented. For example I used FXContext.mirrorOf() to create a FXValue from a String but I do not understand what "mirrorOf" means in JavaFX context
- Is it possible to do "on replace" trigger through JavaFx Reflection ?
- Is it possible to unbind or rebind ? If not, what are workarounds to handle this ?
- I do not understand why they are so few event handlers in JavaFX UI classes (AFAIK there is not resize, unload or init event). Is it intentional ? Do you suggest using binding/trigger instead ?

Most of your questions are answered very directly in the documentation.
As for ITS on Unix or Linux, we have and ITS server running on Linux now. As well as a WebAS server 620 (ABA and Basis installed) with J2EE engine on Linux. We previously had a 610 running on a window server. Our ITS runs separatly from the WAS but the WAS like any SAP R/3 System can then link to it or it to them. As for the future of ITS I read somewhere from SAP that it was delimited so I would not expect much more from it. Perhaps searching the Documentation about the ITS (Netweaver website) you might find more details about it'S future.
A WAS is a Web Application Server, and from SAP that means ABAP and J2EE or with Netweaver you can install it with ABAP, with J2EE or with Both.

Thanks. I cover four different sites. We are using the same questions for the four sites. Each site has a different client base (with different users). So I am inviting persons to complete the form in an ad-hoc basis following training sessions (so far I have trained 10 out of 57). The responses will be viewed by two or three Managers. The problem is that it is difficult to see who has started filling out the form, who has not even looked at it, and those who have completed it. So for example at the moment I have a zero response to my requests to complete the form, although some people may be working on the form?

Those requirements are go way beyond what PDF forms can do and are meant for, some of them would require involving other programs or are mutually exclusive and contradictory. You are wasting your time even thinking about doing this as an "offline" PDF form. Simply sign up for an online forms/ survey service like FormsCentral or Surveymonkey.

I created a fillable form in pro at home and need to distribute to my job which only have adobe reader. How do I distribute and collect responses in my work email if the forms are filled out in reader?

Reader doesn't do that, only Acrobat does.

With Adobe FormsCentral in Creative Teams subscription, do I need to add an Acrobat Pro subscription to get unlimited forms and realtime responses?

We have a number of Creative Cloud for Teams seats but need to FormsCentral unlimited forms and realtime response rate.
The site makes you upgrade to Acrobat Pro subscription to get that, which is included in Creative Cloud. I did order it, but am puzzled at whether or not that was a mistake.
Anyone has an idea about this?

You have creative cloud subscription as you have mentioned. Under Adobe Reader to convert PDF to other formats Adobe offers online service called Acrobat.com services: https://www.acrobat.com/en_us.html
That would be the reason support person might have told you on call, that you have to pay for that service.
Under creative cloud you are getting Adobe applications. However under Acrobat.com you are getting online services which are providing Acrobat functions online.

Is there a way to auto collect form responses AND get an email notification? Currently I have my form set up to auto save and collect the responses and its working well but I cannot figure out how to add an email notification as well so we know when to check for new submissions.

How can a user View/Save/Print Embedded Form on Webpage to PDF?

Currently FormsCentral does not support to View/Save/Print Embedded Form from the Webpage to PDF. If you are the form author, you can save/print the form to PDF in FormsCentral, and the PDF forms can be viewed in Acrobat or Reader.Or if you like, you can save/print the entire web page to PDF using the browser, but the form could not be submitted then. Are form responses removed from Adobe server when deleted by user?

This is a server security question; when form responses are exported to excel, and then deleted from the workspace, do they remain on the Adobe server or are they gone? I need to know this to know the level of security that is applied to the server to determine if we can use Adobe with sensitive information. I understand forms are encrypted when responses are returned, but what happens to the information that is on the server?

Form Responses

How can I delet a form response in FormsCentral?

Login to formscentral, open the form in question, click view response on the top, select the entire row of the response you want to delete, right click and select delete entire row.

I am using an embedded form: Some users have said they have submitted forms, however, I have not received their submissions on my spreadsheet?

I am unable to save my form responses as a pdf or excel file. The error message states: Acrobat.com could not save this file. The file might be open in another application and cannot be overwritten.

Did saving ever work or did it fail the first time you tried?
Have you tried to save to multiple locations? Maybe it has something to do with permissions on the directory you are trying to save to.
Have you tried saving something from another web site to the same location? Try creating and saving a file in/from https://workspaces.acrobat.com/app.html#o and see if that has the same result.

I am doing development in sharepoint 2010 and facing this very weird problem.
If I create a site page with the sharepoint look and feel for that site and try to save the site page,i am getting this error:**"Content in the embedded form may be changed by the the server to remove unsafe content.Do you want to reload your page to see
the results of the save? "** and when i say reload,the server removes some parts of my page, e.g onclick event of html,asp buttons.
This error just comes for any sharepoint site page,e.g i took a copy of 'How To Read Library' page just edited the text part of taht page,and when i try to save this error again comes up.
However,if i create a simple aspx page with only htmltags like head body,then thr is no problem ,everything works great. But sharepoint look and feel pages are giving troubles while saving.
has anybody seen this earlier,what could be the reason for this?

I think the excerpt and link below is the why, but the page talks about server code and not javascript. I guessing that this is why blank pages work, but not wiki pages. Can anyone verify this?

If the page is customized, server-side code does not run, and the page does not render. This includes the code-behind for the page itself.

Adobe Form; Fields missing in form response file & .csv export

I created a form in Adobe Livecycle 8 and everything was working fine. Our company upgraded to Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 and now when I receive a form response via email, some of the data elements to not show up in the 'response file', therefore the data elements cannot be exported into excel. I am using 'compile returned forms' and following the wizard so I don't know what I'm missing. I am at a loss and am under a time crunch to get this fixed. Any help would be appreciated!

No errors when I go on the page for upload.
I solved by restarting the portal.

Is there a way to revert to the original form responses in Forms Central?

I was reviwing responses in Forms Central, and I noticed a few cells had been shaded as "Manually edited." I am the only person with access to our responses, so I'm guessing that as I was using my scroll button on my mouse, I accidentally changed something. (My mouse has been acting up lately, and the computer has registered a double click when I only single clicked.)
Is there a way to revert back to the original form responses? I caught this too late for be able to just use "undo."

OK, then maybe you made (by accident) some changes prior to your current editing session. You might have edited the form, made 'change1', closed the form, and reopened it. At this point you cannot use Edit / Undo to undo 'change1'.
It looks like you need to undo your changes manually. You could take a look at the View Responses table history to see what you had before. At the View Responses tab, click on the clock-history icon on your lower right corner, you will see the History bar and you can select a previous version to see.
