Employee Responsible for a work center

Good Morning,
We use Project Systems in order to do project management within SAP. We use the work center to define the team structure. I know that there is a place to maintain the person responsible for a work center in the config, but the entry here is a text field. We are trying to link the owner of a workcenter back to the reporting structure that can be pulled from HRP1001, and a text field makes it more difficult to track this back to the HR side. We currently enter the name of a manager in this field, and if there is no other place to define the person responsible using a pernr, we'll have to start using this field to enter personnel number. This will allow ABAP to pull the pernr and trace it to a position number on HRP1001. I'd like to keep the manager name in this field if at all possible though. Any help will be much appreciated. Create a Cost center using T code - KS01.
Create an activity type using T code - KL01.
Assign the Rates for an activity type & cost center combination using T code KP26.
In the input screen of T code KP26 ,enter version as 0, from period 1 and to period as 12 and the Fiscal
Year as 2009,enter the cost center, activity type click on overview screen (F5) & enter the per hour Rate
After performing this in work center assign activity type & cost center
should be assigned. Then while creating routing/task list this work center can assigned for performing
as per the operation time, whichu2019s used by the work center, the cost is getting calculated.
Overhead cost is the indirect cost which's spent during production.
So when the cost rollup is taken using T code CK40N (or else using CK11N estimating & CK24 for

In our Project We triggering work flow from lead to sales manager. The Sales Manager is assigned to sales office. We used access sequence CH08 to determine the sales manager in Partner determination but the work flow is triggered to Employee responsible for Sales Group.
The access determines the Employee responsible for org unit and sales group is selected as org unit in lead document. So the employee below the sales Group is selected in sales manager in Partner determination.
Can any one suggest how to select employee from Sales Office in Partner determination.

How to get a list of production orders for a work center?

Hello SDN Community,
I have an requirement to display in a pop-up window a list of production orders for a work center.
Does anyone know which screens/transactions would show this relationship?
Or better yet, does anyone know how to demonstrate this from the tables themselves?

The system I am working on is ECC 6.0.
For this system the values in the dropdown for the "List" field are "Capacities, Items, Order Headers, Sequences, Trigger Points, etc". But nothing that says PPIOO000 - operations and layout.

For system I am working in, I do get a grid display when entering a work center. It has columns like "Order, Material, Icon, Order Type, MRP cntrlr, etc." But no column with Work Center.
Any further insight into how to use this transaction to display a list of production orders for a work center would be greatly appreciated.

Actual hours done against a work order for a Work Center by non-maintenance

Hi All,
I have below question with respect to work center.
-If there is this actual work hours done on a work order by non- maintenance personnel for a certain work center and same is not reflecting under operation tab of work order, then where & how this hours (done by non- maintenance personnel) for a work order is maintained for that work center?.
-In which database table these hours done by non- maintenance personnel for a work order is stored by work center wise.?

Overhead for each Work center

Hi all,
Presently we are calaculating the overhead for the total operations in the service order.Now the requirement is client want to have overhead for each workcenter user in the service order.
Lets say,there are 3 workcenters were used in the service order with 3 operations.Now instead of single overhead,they want three overhead in the order.I know this is not the right place to post this and I just thought some one could experianced this scenario in their projects.If so pl share with me.

you can do this provided you have customized the costing sheet as per the requirement .Create separate Activity type for each work center with different cost element .
while creating the costing sheet create separate base row for the respective cost element and then fix the overhead percentage

Creation of person responsible in CR01 (work center creation)

During the creation of work center (CR01). The following details are entered before i get the error message
1) Work center and its description
2)Work center category
3)Usage
4)Backflush
5)Standard value key
But i am unable to enter the PERSON RESPONSIBLE field (Message is NO VALUES SELECTED MAINTAIN ENTRIES).... if I am selecting yes with this message it is routing me to Choose Customizing project.
Please help me creating person responsible field

then enter on continue w/o specifying project
then it's take u to location
here double on any or PP work center
then new entries
and specify one name here
then back, back & back
now u can get the name here

maintain directly in T-code OP10

BAPI for getting Equipment and Resources for a WORK CENTER

Hi All,
I have a requirement where i need to get all the equipment list for a given work center. So its Interface should be like
Input -- Work center
Output -- Table filled with Equipment list
Table filled with Resource(Person) list
Please let me know if i need to provide other additional information also.

I think What you providing input is right.Just would like know how will you get Person Responsible out put list??
Please Use The table ITOB to fetch the Equipment List according to Work Center as Input.
OBJID=Put work center ID in CRHD Table you will get the OBJID then you have use the OBJID in table ITOB for getting the equipment data.

How to change employee responsible for open campaigns.

I want to find out open campaigns and marketing attributes based on partner function i.e., employee responsible and these open documents I need assign to another employee responsible. Which function module I need to read the details and which fm is to change employee responsible. Please guide me which fm i need to use how I can change to another employee responsible partner function.

If you are comfortable with the bol queries, you can execute the bol query services to get relevant data..
here is the sample code to get marketing attributes for a bp.. here you can read additonal attribute "partner function" to filter the data as per your req.

Automatic release of production order for perticular work center

Use T Code COHVOMRELEASE here select work center as ZPACK then in header menu Program--Schedule in background here define as perodic job and set ferquency as Hr.
Or Use Transaction SE38 to create the variants for program PPIO_ENTRY and schedule it through SM36 or use standard variant as SAP&RELEASE.

Activity Types for a Work Center

Dear Experts,
I have done KL01 and KP26 transactions. That is I ahve defined the activity and assignes a cost conter to it.
Still, when I am trying to enter the activity type in costing tab while creating the work center, the system throws an error as "No activity types are assigned to the cost center XXXXX, controlling area XXXXX....."
The Msg No. is CR 091.
Please guide me to find out where I am missing something?

Standard Values in Production Order for Alternate Work Center

Hi SAP Expert,
I would like to find out whether there is possible solution for the requirements as below:
e.g.
>>> Routing for Product A only has one Operation 0010.
>>> 4 Work Centers/Resources (A,B, C, D) can be assigned to run this operation where all these 4 Work centers/resources are having different capacities (Setup, Labour, Machine hour & Electricity are different).
>>> Out of these 4 work centers, only one work center will be selected (Selection criteria will be based on the capacities & availability).
>>> In my current setting, only one preferred work center (A) is maintained in the routing for operation 0010.
Issue:
>>> If I select the work center B manually in APO during the planned order creation, the Production Order created will be tied to work center B but the standard values captured in the Production Order are still referred to the standard value of A.
Question:
1. Is there any way I can maintained in the routing so that it will captured all the different standard values for each work centers?
2. If the answer is yes for Q1, then can the SAP auto populate the correct standard value into the Production Order according to the work center I selected before the planned order is converted into Production Order?

Hi,
You can use alternative sequence in routing and mainain three different sequence for all 4 workcenter.
At APO side you can maintain priority for alternative sequence in PPM/PDS.
Now when you execute the scheduling Heuristic depending on priority and capacity workcenter will be assigned.

Hello Experts,
We are working on SAP ME 15.0 recently installed. We are trying to send the work center from ECC to ME. In MEINT we see only the following work flow for work center / resource:
As can be seen, LOIWCS02 is not there. When we sent work center (category 9100) with LOIWCS02 IDoc type, it failed in MEINT. But when we sent work center from ECC (category 9100) using IDoc type 9100, it was processed successfully in MEINT but it created work center in ME.
The other component LOIWCS02_ME_RES or LOIWCS02_ME_WC is not getting called. What is the possible reason and resolution?
Would be thankful for any feedback on this.

If you see the screen shot I had put in my query, I see that there are three work flows - one for LOIWCS03 and the other two for LOIWCS02_RES and LOIWCS02_RES. Would this make any difference since I would expect that the work flow for RES and WC should also be in line with LOIWCS03?
I will be asking my tech team to raise a support incident for this. Meanwhile I would appreciate your reply on this.

The requirement is that I should use Idocs.
Is there any Idoc in which I can send the following info.
1.Resource/Work Centre
2.Resource Description Text
3.Characteristic Name
4.Characteristic Value.
Can we use CHRMAS04 . If yes then how do we pass Resource and its text.

The system determines the process as
When u enter a prospect, the syetem determines the organisation based on attributes ,which in turn pick up the employee responsible from that particular organisation.
