Employee transferred from one company code to another company code

Hi
I have an issue.
If an employee is transfered from one company code to another company code.
how can we transfer the master data and payroll data of the employee from existing company code to new company code.

1.Try with this report RPUP0001 (read the documentation )
2.The other option would be LSMW
But you havent say how the payroll Should process from the persent period with changed company code or for previous periods with pervious company code

Are you using out of box functionality of Workforce?
You can use the transfer functionality to transfer employee from one Cost Center to another? If Cost Center is not your entity dimension then you need to customize the out of box rules a bit.
How will alternate hierarchy help you in this case? Employee and Cost Centers are seperate dimensions or are they clubbed in one.
I think it should be the former case, isnt it?

I want to transfer the Budget and Actuals also. The actual scenario is like this:
We have a budget for 10lakhs. We purchased some materials. Please remeber this is CWIP related thru internal order. Part of the Budget is used (for 1 lakh) and purchased material against this. Part of this material purchased say 40000 is to be transfered to another location Physically, for similar activity.
As a i am transfering this material, part of my internal order is also has to be transfered to the other location, but remember the budget will be the same.
So I need to transfer actuals and budget to another location.

Can an app be transferred from one iTunes account to another

My wife downloaded a non-free app on her computer meant for our iPad which is sync'd with my computer. Is there a way for her to transfer it to my iTunes account?

can you do homesharing between the 2 computers? then have the app transferred to the second computer that the ipad is sync'd with, if you can do that then the app will be copied to your other computer then you can add to the ipad, I have apps on one computer in my home and I sync my ipod touch to another one so I just use home sharing to transfer the apps over.
for some reason if i move and copy the app to a flash drive then install it on the computer I am syncing my ipod to it does not work so homesharing seems to work better

Need points transferred from one mybestbuy number to another

It seems when I created my new account on bestbuy.com a year ago (because my old one was locked back a couple years when my credit card number got hacked), I never set it up to use my original mybestbuy number (from the old rewardzone days). I would like to email the info to a rep to have the points moved from the new number to the old as the old number is linked to my Gamer Club Unlocked account.
Can someone please contact me to get this done?

The best option would be a merge, which should not be a problem if the information shared by your two accounts matches. Any points/certificates in your secondary account would be transferred over to your primary account following the merge. Transferring from one iPhoto library to another

How do I import photos from an older iPhoto library to a new one, without creating duplicates?
If I import the old iPhoto library folder, I end up with duplicates (both the modified photos and the originals). If I import just the folder for modified photos, then I can't "revert to original."

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Does the new library have photos in it or is it new? If new and empty, move it to the trash and copy the old library folder into the Pictures folder. Download and run BatChmod on the iPhoto Library folder with the settings shown here, putting your administrator login name, long or short, in the owner and group sections. You can either type in the path to the folder or just drag the folder into that field. Then launch iPhoto and let it convert the old library to the new version complete with keywords, comments, albums, etc.
If the new library has photos in it and you want to keep the keywords, comments, etc. from the old library intact then try the following:
1 - rename the old library and put it in the Pictures folder along with the new library.
2 - run BatChmod on the old library folder as described above.
3 - launch iPhoto with the Option key depressed and, when asked, opt to select a library and select the old one. Let iPhoto convert it.
4 - download and use the paid version of iPhoto Library Manager to merge the two libraries. This will keep all your metadata intact.
If you don't need the keywords, etc. of the old library then all you need to do is drag the Originals folder from the old library folder into the open window of the new library. That will import the originals into events (if you have the Events preferences set like this) that correspond to the rolls you had in the old library.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've written an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

Employee Transfer from One People group to another.

Hi All
Suppose a new employee was hired on 01-Jan-2006 and upto 31-May-2007 he was in People Group X. From 01-Jun-2007 he was shifted to[i] People Group Y.
When I query the assignments using Fastpath,
People window etc. all these are correct. But on the People Form it's showing the Effective From Date as 20-Jul-2007 and Latest Start Date as 01-Jan-2006.
Suppose my user has done something due to which I am getting this. What he may have done? And the employee was not terminated.
Any Idea?

Yes I am talking about the dates on the people screen. Why there are different dates on the People Screen. In the Assignment window everything is fine and also in the View>Worker Assignment window everything is OK.
I have used the Menu Tool>Date Track History also but there are no changes made.
Then why are the dates different in the People Window?

Transferring an Employee from one Company Code to Another Company Code

Dear All,
we are implementing the HR Implementation for the group of Hospitals, each hospital being an Individual Legal entity, but there is a requirement, where in there is a possibility that the employee may be transferred from one Hospital to other on a short term basis or on a long term basis, and as long as the Employee stays in that transferred place, his salary is to be paid from that particular Hospital,
As per my understanding, we have to run the seperation action and then go for a hiring action in the new company,,, but this wouldnt solve the purpose if the employee works for 10 days in a month in one Hospital and the rest in the Other Hospital...
I have come across various posts on sdn regarding the same issue that it is possible, but i didn't find the end result for this one,I would request you to provide me with your inputs on this one.

Hi ,, I am aware that we need to execute a transfer action, but how can we transfer an employee from one company code to another??? let me explain you with my scenario here....
HOSPITAL-1 : XYZ1 ( Company Code)
HOSPITAL-2 : XYZ2( Company Code)
Hospital 1 (XYZ1) and 2(XYZ2) belong to the XYZ Group of Companies
both these hospitals are separate legal entities
an Employee "A" is working in a Hospital 1 ( XYZ1) from 1st of a month till 10th and from 11th onwards he is working in Hospital2(XYZ2).
if i want to transfer an employee internally from one Personnel Area to another Personnel area or from one org unit to other org unit then i can do it through transfer actions, but how am i supposed to do a transfer action in between two company codes?

Transfer of a Asset from one Business Area to Another Business area

Hi Gurus,
I am working for a Indian client in ECC6.
presently we are using "ABUMN" TCODE to transfer asset from one business area to another business area. But, in this process we have to create a new asset or transfer to a existing asset with new business area. So, we are retiring the Old asset transferred and the total value and accm. dep is transferred to the new asset.
Now, my client doesnot want to create a new asset, he wants the old asset no. to be retained and keep track of the transfers from one business area to another.
In Time Dependent intervals, i am unable to change Business are. it is only allowing to keep track of changes in Cost centre. Likewise i want for Business area.
Can anybody help?

Hi Jaya,
we need to maintain the screen layout rules for the asset master data for the above issue.
Path: SPRO, Financial Accounting, Asset Accounting, Master Data, Screen Layout, Define Screen Layout for Asset Master Data.
Double click Define Screen Layout for Asset Master Data.
Select your screen layout and double click "Logical field group" folder.
Then double click on "3 Time dependent data" and double click "Field group rules".
Here maintain the rule for business area exactly as it looks like for cost center.

Dear,
do not transfer employee from one company code to another issues are as under.
1. Employees Form 16 you will get wrong value as per I Tax law because of company is having different PAN & TAN.
2. Form 24 Q annual return data will not get properly/easily from SAP because of form 24 Q will run on Payroll area base/ company code base
3. PF number is different for these 2 company codes then you are unable to submit annual return.
4. If employee will get hike after the transfer case then system will post expenses period wise means if employee is having 2 different cost center related 2 different company codes posting will done as per this scenario is it accepted to Account Depatment? it is reflected in FICO through KSBB how can they manage expenditure which is related to previous month?
Like this many points are there you have to study it and then suggest to your client.

Can some throw some light on how can we migrate employee master data from one company code to another company code in the same client and different clients. what are the other areas we need to take care during migration like interfaces etc.,.
secondly can we copy part of org structure or total org structcture to new org plan. if we need to create new org structure which interface is advisable and why?

Change of Company code from one Cons Group to another Cons Group.

Dear All,
Please advise on change of company code from one Cons Group to another Cons Group , we have Cons Structure - at present few companies are in one cons group and as a policy we have to move the companies to another cons group. So please advise me what will be the case if we move int he following senarios:
1. if till period 012 year 2008, company A is in Cons Group AA and we want the same to Cons Group BB. How it will move to Cons Group BB in a Company code with the opening balances?
2. if there is no data in SEM BCS total Cube - and we want to move the Company A from Cons Group AA to Cons Group BB.
What will be the effect in both the scenarios. How to do this? if you can specify some steps then I will try to analyze the situation.

The changes are not complicated but company A must be placed in cons group BB as of period 12 2008 and in the master data of the cons group it should be indicated that the first consolidation is at the end of the period (EOP). Likewise in cons group AA must continue to include company A but in the cons group master data it must be indicated that the period of divestiture is 12 2008 EOP.
The cons group changes tasks must be executed to move the balances in period 12 2008.
If there is not data for company A in the totals infocube you may simply drag-and-drop company A from cons group AA to cons group BB without any concerns.
The affect in each scenario is different because if there is data that is to be reported as part of cons group AA company A must be included in cons group AA.
