En-CA Language has incorrect Date Format in SSRS report

When I set the Language on a Report to "en-CA", then dates are formatted as dd/mm/yyyy.
This differs from the OS default format of yyyy-mm-dd for en-CA.
Is there any way to tweak the date format for a specific Language in SSRS?
Please don't say I need to add Format() calls to all of the dates in the reports... What I want to do is just give SSRS the correct date format for "en-CA" and let it do the work of formatting automatically.

In Reporting Services, by default, formats for date are determined by the report server language at run time. The report server language is the language of the operating system on which the report server is installed. This language is determined by the regional
settings of the computer.
Generally, the report server language supports for all ten of the SQL Server languages. But the en-CA language is not supported by SQL Server. In this way, the report server uses the mostly closely matched language of the operating system as the language.
For example, the operating system is Canada English. Because Canada English and U.S. English are in the same language family, it chooses the SQL Server language resource that most closely matches Canada English (in this case U.S. English). So the date format
uses en-US format.

Incorrect date format in excel reports

Hi,
Some Activity exported from Activity overview to excel have wrong date format. For example
Some have 21/04/2008 u2013 Correct
Some have 13/04/09 u2013 Incorrect
All the dateu2019s in the database seems to be correct like '2008-04-13 00:00:00.000'.
Client is using SAP B1 2005 SP01 PL-48. Is there any know issue?
I tried the same in B1 2007 upgrading the database. All the date seems to be correct when I export it here.
What may be the reason?
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

It took some time for me to verify in the client machine.
I have changed the date format in both Business One and in the regional settings to DD/MM/YY. It seems to be ok however the appearances of date column in excel seems to be uneven.

(Ignore the *)
I think, the problematic dates seem to be exported to excel in the paste special text format.
Any Idea why this is happening?

Incorrect date format in Crystal Report XI

I have a problem with date in reports if Day in date (yyyy/mm/dd) less than 12.
Problem is:
I create a report (through application). If I check the instance of the report created on Crystal Server (in Central Management Console) it's correct. If I try to download (open or save) this report to workstation (through application) Day and month changed places and date become incorrect.
Any attempts to play with regional settings in workstation did not help.
What is the problem here and how I can resolve the issue?
Any advices will be appreciated.

Script: my requirement is to copy standard form and stanadrad prog to zprog and zform. and i want to add extra fields in form. for achiving i changed page format DINA4 Portrait to LETTER Landscape. i developed these things. it working fine in this server ( provided test data in this server).
now problem is they provided data in Test client in diffrent server. for testing purpose i download script by using RSTXSCRP progam and uploaded and i copied porgram also. but when i run the transaction in test client, giving error : error is Form zfi*** has incorrect page format.

I would check in SE71 to make sure the correct SAPscript layout is there and active.
You can check transaction SPAD. Be sure the LETTER in LANDSCAPE mode is supported for the specific device type assigned to the target printer in the test system.
As a last resort, you can purge the buffer for loaded layout sets with program RSTXDELL.

Form FI_FAX_COVER_A4 has incorrect page format

I am getting error "form FI_FAX_COVER_A4 has incorrect page format" while executing the payment program RFFOEDI1 in batch mode.
This error message is not consistent. I am not sure how form FI_FAX_COVER_A4 is getting triggered by program RFFOEDI1.
Can any one help me on this issue.

Date Format Display on report

Is there a way to set a custom date format on a report column? I am trying to use a format mask and it doesn't appear to be working. Maybe someone can spot my mistake:
Query: Hours Worked = Clock_IN - Clock_OUT
Format mask for Clock In/Clock Out - DD-MON-YYYY HH24:MI (from list)
Format mask for Hours Worked column: HH:MI (hand typed)

I am using SQL Server Reporting Services 2008 , data fetching by Project server database,data value is getting by multi line rich text field.
when showing same data in HTML format
on ssrs reports its shows every style what ever user copy and paste on particular field like font size ,colors and them.
I have requirement to show unique font size and unique family font,I am unable to achieve this using lot of placeholder properties.

According to your description that the some of the report data retrieved by multi line rich text field, which style show differently in the report, you have tried to create the placeholder using the HTML tag to format the data
but failed to achieve, right?
The issue due to the rich text formatting is not supported in SSRS 2008, Currently, you have mentioned that you tried to using the HTML tag to reformat the text but failed, that may due to Reporting Services support limit HTML tags when defined as placeholder
text. Please see:
• Hyperlinks: <A href>
• Fonts: <FONT>
• Header, style and block elements: <H{n}>, <DIV>, <SPAN>,<P>, <DIV>, <LI>, <HN>
• Text format: <B>, <I>, <U>, <S>
• List handling: <OL>, <UL>, <LI>
In your scenario, I recommend you to take reference of method below to get the unique format text.

If you want to get the RTF format:
If using Report Viewer Windows control, we can render the RTF file into IMG file, and then display the image on the report.

Flickr Group RSS feed has incorrect dates in Mail - How do I fix this?

I since I've updated to Safari 3.1 RSS posts from Flickr group pools have had an incorrect 'Date Received'. Rather than the date they were added to the group pool (the date the RSS post was sent/received) new posts are now dated by the date the photo was uploaded, which could be significantly in the past. So my RSS mailbox is in completely the wrong order. I'm not 100% sure that this is down to the Safari 3.1 update, but it was definitely not a problem before I made the update.
I've checked on other RSS readers and they all work correctly. I also posted on the Flickr Help Forum (http://www.flickr.com/help/forum/en-us/69088/) and it would appear that others have had the same problem with Mail.
Any help would be much appreciated!

It appears the behavior is caused by iCloud pushing the information, to include the password, to Mail.
If I delete my iCloud account password and save the changes, the password reappears without me typing it in.
If I go to System Preferences/iCloud and uncheck the sync Mail box, my iCloud account in Mail disappears. When I recheck the sync Mail box, the account reappears, complete with password.
Based on my testing, you are stuck with things the way they are.
If you want to provide feedback to Apple, you can do that in Mail under the Mail menu.

My iphone 5C has incorrect date & time

I recently did an update last week and still then my phone has lost the correct date & time, even on automatic settings. It has not lost bluetooth and I am unamle to use i messaging. I have tried a factory reset but it still has yesterdays date and likes the time of 21.39.
Instead of smashing this phone up does anybody have any alternatives please as I am getting really ****** off.

To set the date and time, go to Settings-Date and Time-turn Set Automatically off- tap the date and time that appears on screen and change time.

Date Format in Portal Report

Hi,
I have created a SQL Report with following select statement. Looks like portal has default format mask for date type as 'DD-MM-YY'.
If I put DD-MM-YYYY or DD-MM-RRRR in Format Mask field in Column Formatting screen, the reports generates 04-10-0002 . It should
be 04-10-2002.

from obm
where process_id like (:process_id)
I tried to use the to_char function as following. But it errors ORA-06502:PL/SQL:numeric or value error. Even though it works fine in
my sqlplus session.
select process_id, to_char(last_update_date, 'DD-MM-YYYY')

Which version of portal are you using? The error with to_char comes in 30984. This is a bug. The bug no is 2567445. A one-off has been issued. Please look in metalink for it. And for the date formatting in the column formatting section the formatting should work fine. Please check the data in your table.

I have print one field in the report.
The field actually concatenation on string and Date
EX: Selected on 30.05.2007
I have declared this field has char (30).
This Date will be taking how ever the stored in the Data Base.
Can anybody give me suggestions?
Date should be How ever user has setting in his profile.

Change Date Format in MSDS report

SAP EHS expert:
I would like to change Date Format when printing MSDS in different languages. For example, print date in MM.DD.YYYY format when printing MSDS in English, but print date in YYYY. MM. DD format when printing MSDS in Chinese.The Generation Variant setting is MM.DD.YYYY because most of time we print that MSDS in English.
Does any one know how to do it?

create a new generation variant for the Report template and select the date format that you want in the new GV. While printing the report template select the generation varient created for the required date format.
