Engineering Graduate---Should I Go For ABAP??? Plz Help

Hello Everyone,
I am a B.E. (Computer Science) fresher from Bangalore, searching for job in the field of application development. I have a sound knowledge of JAVA and SQL.
Since I am jobless I am looking for something that enhances job opportunities. I got to know about ABAP from a training institute.
Should I go ahead for ABAP? Being a fresher wont be a hindrance for me? What should I do? The training institute is assisting me to get education loan.
Please give me some constructive advices as I am very depressed and confused.

Report should prompt me for parameters, please help.

I am using Crystal version 10, So is there any way I can get the behaviour of my parameters as dynamic parameter? I have this requirement because when I am deploying the Report on BO server, and try to open the report from InfoView, it is not prompting me for parameters, rather it is giving me the copy which we had scheduled earlier. To get the fresh data with different parameters, we again need to schedule the report.
What I want is simple, Whenever user clicks on the report link in infoview, I should be promted for the parameters my report is using.
Please help..

How to create an editable table in webdynpro for ABAP? Help!

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement where I have to create a webdynpro for ABAP table for new row/rows entry, delete row/rows and update row/rows data. This is something like table control in normal ABAP.
how can I achieve this? Is there any such feature in ALV component?
Any code sample will be really helpfull.

WD For ABAP : cl_wd_table HELP?

   I have a problem to solve about web dynpro for abap.
   I create a table and the first column is a LINK_TO_BUTTON(Function LIKE BBS),if there are 6   rows data ,when i click the link_to_button of 1 row in 6,I want to konw which row i have clicked ,
   so,how to do it? wish to give me some advice.

Hi,
Use can put following code in the ONACTION of LINK_TO_BUTTON.
method ONACTIONONLINKTOBUTTON .
data: lr_element type ref to if_wd_context_element,
          lv_index type i.
lr_element = wdevent->get_context_element( name = 'CONTEXT_ELEMENT' ).
lv_index = lr_element->get_index( ).
Now lv_index will contain the table row number in which the button was triggered.

well if you havent converted the the movie in a file that the ipod understands it...there is no way that it could be on the ipod, unless you convert it, you can use a program called iSquint, i use it and it works, you could go to www.isquint.com and download it there, and there is also handbrake on that website that you could download and rip a dvd so you could put it on your ipod, so i hope this helps,

WebDynpro for ABAP F4-help for KAGRU like PERFORM f4_groups in KSB1

Hello,
I must realize a search-help in a WebDynpro-Component which looks like the F4-help in the transaction KSB1 for field KAGRU.
In the report RKAEP000 it looks like this.
AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON VALUE-REQUEST FOR koagr.
PERFORM f4_groups USING    'KSTAR'
                             gs_tka01-ktopl
                    CHANGING koagr.
But in WebDynpro the Function   'K_GROUP_SELECT' wil generate a short dump.
Has anybody an idea, how to make this in WebDynpro?

How are you trying to use the search help? You can set up value help in the component itself. Go to the component controller context of your web dynpro component. Select the context node attribute for which you would like to have value help. Now go down to the properties. Next to "Input Help Mode" select "Automatic". If your node attributes were brought in from a table (SAP or custom), then if there is an existing search help it will automatically be brought up now next to "Determined Input Help". Save your changes and activate.
If a search help is not brought in when you change the input help mode to automatic, then you can still create your own method to provide the search help. In this case you will need to create your method in the controller of the view where the user will be entering a value for the field. The method type should be "Method". Make sure to call your search help method within the method WDDOINIT of the view. In the search help method you will need to navigate to your mode, select the values for the field, and then set the attribute value set using those values. You will have to look into K_GROUP_SELECT to see where it is getting the values for KAGRU. I don't think you can call K_GROUP_SELECT directly because it creates a pop-up.
A third option is to use an OVS (object value selector) component. Please see this document for help with OVS:

Im in india and im using my iphone with tata docomo. I try everything to activate my phone no as facetime but activation was unsuccessful. Plz confirm how to activate this. Other service provider is activating it instantly. I talked to my carrier they said they have no restriction for facetime.

Facetime activation relies on 'silent' SMS messages to Apple's activation servers in the UK. They are not a supported carrier. You'll have to work it out with them or switch to a supported carrier.

Unable to install itunes 8.1.1 need it for iphone plz help

i can download the 8.1.1 intaller but when i install a msg pops up which reads
"the windows installer service could not be accessed this can occur if you are running windows in safe mode or if the windows installer is not currently installed contact your support personel for assistance"
i have tried to download a new installer but it says mine is the newest so i checked out safe mode and i found out how to turn it on but not how to turn safe mode off but it does seem to be off! is there any other things that could be stopping this from installing??? any advivce would be much appreciated thankyou!

Put the buttons in an array and refer to array instead. In the array simply put the instance names of the buttons. in the order you want them to move (1,2,3).
