Enhancement of crmd_customer_h not working

Hi all,
I modified a custom append structure on crmd_customer_h. Used a where-used list on one of the already present custom fields to check which other structures I also have to enhance.
Now I included these fields in CIC screen, but when it tries to put these data in the internal layer with PERFORM data_put(saplcrm_opport_ui) it clears them
When I debug I can see that the structure is supplied tot this perform with the values but eventually crm_order_maintain is not used to place this data for the transaction.
What could be the reason that this isn't working.
Additional info:
I first tried to use the Easy enhancement workbench to create the new fields by using the wizard, but first it complained that you can't enhance crmd_customer_h with a Z* package. so I did all the work again, but then with the package CRM_CUSTOMER_H and then it complained, can't create Z table with this package.
That's the reason why I used an existing, working enhancement for customer_h and enhanced that one.

Update and issue solved
During debugging I found out that FM CRM_MAP_ITF_READ is used to retrieve the input fields for the transaction.
In this FM a view is read to retrieve the input fields for this UI structure.
I manually extended the table with an entry to see if this worked, and it did.
So i will put the rest of the fields in it and create a manual transport entry with the key fields of the table.

Enhanced dictation does not work. I've tried everything. Any help?

Hello everybody. After downloading enhanced dictation (spanish-spain), the microphone seems to be Ok but no word is written. Regular online dictation works well. I use a mac-mini i7 16Gb and a micro connected to an external audio card firewire. I've tried to delete and download again several times, to clean the cache, turn on-off with resets,.. but nothing seems to fix the problem. Dictation is important for me to work and I'd like to try with enhanced dictation because I've read that it improves the performance with respect to online dictation.
I've empoyed such a lot of time looking for a solution in the support community and other forums but nothing worked.
Could anybody help me.

Ok, I reply to myself.
The problem was caused by the microphone and the firewire connection. Enhanced Dictation is not ready to work with my audio hardware (micro Shure and Presonus audio card via Firewire). Although this audio hardware works fine with other software and even with online dictation, when I use it with Enhanced Dictation, the system seems to be working (the micro bars of the microphone in the screen move ok) but no words are written at all.
The solution was to connect it analogically, using an audio connection between my audio card and the line-in connection of the mac mini (stereo).
Hope Apple will solve this problem. I guess many people probably are having the same problem, mainly people with pro audio cards. I hope that this will help them

The Enhancement EDMLELHA is not working.

I just activated the EDMLELHA enhancement, taking the help of an ABAP Consul. "the reason is to take the estimation based on the last year consumption", i have enabled the special procedures in the MR estimation. Still the enhancement is not working out?? May i know why? it has worked on the day ABAPer tested it in debugging mode, But after activating it is not working till now. even ABAP guy is shocked as every single thing is correct there...
Help me out ASAP please...

Hi,
There can be two issues here:
1. Activate the enhancement directly in the environment you are testing. (I don't know what is the problem with enhancement but it has to be activated individually in each environment it is transported).
2. If it has activated and even then enhancement is not working, then please ask the Technical Consultant to put a break point in the FM / Method wherever you have applied the enhancement to debug and check if enhancement is picked up. If yes then it is the issue with code logic applied.

Enhancement Spot is not working in Function Module

I have enhanced standard FM and also enhanced the interface of the same FM, i have put piece of code in between ENHANCEMENT and ENDENHANCEMENT. this piece of code was working fine, but all of sudden when i try to execute that FM , piece of code inside my enhancement is not executed. enhancement is also active.

Enhanced Dictation does not work.

I bought a cheap microphone, cheapest I could get. I plugged it into the "Audio In" port of my Mac Mini. The Mini is running OSX 10.9.4.   I went to the "Dictation & Speech" system preference and turned on Enhanced Dictation.   The Mini automatically downloaded whatever it downloaded. I turned on the microphone, double-clicked the "Function" key twice, and got no response in text boxes in either Word or Safari.
I went back to "Dictation & Speech" and changed the input from "Automatic" to "Line In."   When I double-clicked "Function," I got the icon of the old-fashioned microphone. I talked, but neither Word nor Safari responded.
I deleted ~Library/Caches/com.apple.SpeechRecognitionCore/Users/en_GB.
Two days later, I have tried again. Today I opened "Dictation & Speech" and re-set everything to turn on. The Mini downloaded whatever it downloads, and, again, I get no response from my dictating.
In fact, now the "Start Dictation" tool in the Edit menu is dimmed.   Neither that tool nor the Function key can get Enhanced Dictation to work.

Enhanced function module not working

Hi guys,
There's a requirement in my project to add new fields to the standard ESS > Personal Data iView and as well as add in additional validations along with the standard validations. I've thus asked an ABAP developer to
- add in the new fields to Hcmt_Bsp_Pa_xx_R0002 and
- make a duplicate of function module Hrxss_Per_Modify_P0002_xx to Z_Hrxss_Per_Modify_P0002_xx where my developer has coded in additional validations.
Then, I
- Import these into the Model classes
- Remapped the context nodes (ModifyInfoype) of FcPerPersonalxx to map to Z_Hrxss_Per_Modify_P0002_xx
- Did code change to method modifyRecord() in FcPerPersonalxx.
Result: The new fields are reflected. However, the additional validations don't work. The standard validations are working. Is there any filtering at Webdyn pro Java side that filters only certain msgs? Can anyone help pls?

Hi Zhenmin,
If I understood your problem correctly, you are getting framework validation messages instead of custom developed validation messages. The reason is this
Web Dynpro validations are of two types.
1. Framework handled 2. Custom developed.
Framework handled validations get more priority than the custom developed validations.

Enhanced forecaster is not compatible with Firefox 3.6 or 4.0. What can I do? I realy like that feature.

Enhanced forecaster does not work with my current firefox 3.6 I can go to help and hit repair/extensions and it works for a while. When you go to add ons, it says it is not compatible with 3.6. I downloaded 4.0 and it's the same way. It does not work.

Problem resolved. I was able to download Firefox 4.0.1 and make the software work. Thank you for the on line support.

Aperture 3.3 auto enhance not working properly

I am having issues with auto enhance, having decided to go back and reprocess some older RAW files. It changes the picture which is currently being displayed, however although I can see it regenerating the thumbnail, the thumbnail stays the same as before. Then if I move through a few more pictures auto enhancing them, and return to the first one, the picture is back how it was before auto enhancing it (although all the effects settings say otherwise). If I auto enhance it again, I can see there are no changes to the effects settings, yet it replaces the picture with an auto-enhanced version again. But it never sticks. To summarise in case I am not being clear:
Suppose I have pictures A, B and C:
Auto enhance A - appears to work, picture changes, effects settings change, thumbnail is regenerated incorrectly (still looks like before auto enhance)
Auto enhance B - appears to work, picture changes, effects settings change, thumbnail is regenerated incorrectly (still looks like before auto enhance)
Auto enhance C - appears to work, picture changes, effects settings change, thumbnail is regenerated incorrectly (still looks like before auto enhance)
Return to picture A - picture shown is prior to auto enhance, yet effects settings are from after auto enhance
Return to picture B - picture shown is prior to auto enhance, yet effects settings are from after auto enhance
etcetera
Things I have tried:
Revert to original, and reprocess
Regenerate previews
Regenerate thumbnails
Repair database
Rebuild database
Remove plist file
Nothing has made any difference.
If I use some other auto setting, e.g. auto curves, then everything works exactly as it should. Therefore, it does appear to be some sort of bug with auto enhance. I was wondering if anyone else has seen this. And I thought I would mention it just in case anyone is reprocessing a series of pictures and hasn't noticed that although the effects setting changes are sticking, the actual previews and thumbnails are not updating correctly.

I've just noticed that this behaviour is not consistent. It seems to be that some projects work but others do not, even when the RAW masters were from the same camera. i.e. either all photos in a project work, or none work.

Enhanced Interface Determination - does not work!

well i have a scenario where i have done a multi mapping where MT_TYPSCH is generated for each new value which occurs in one special source field.
<NO>1</NO>

<NO>3</NO>
..so three MT will be generated.
Now i would like these messages devided to different Business Services where each one has on FTP-CC to write a file with a certain filename, e.g. File1.txt, File2.txt, File3.txt.
Therefore i thought i use different receivers in Receiver Determination with using Conditions and pointing to a value in field with XPATH. So depending on field <NO> the message should be routed to the given receiver targets.
I surely use the enhanced Interface Determination because i use multi mapping.
But when i run test, i receive 3 files with different names but same content. For me the receiver determination is not working that good.
Can someone help me on this?!

ok here is my requirement.
We get ONE IDoc in which several items are listed. These have one field <NO> which can have the values 1,2 and 3. Depending on this value the items should be collected and written to different files on FTP.
My approach is that i divide all the items in mapping in different Message Types. This MT should be routet to different business services which has one CC to write on FTP.
To get the items with e.g. <NO>1</NO> i took condition in reciever determination using xpath. ((/ZBC21/IDOC/ZBC21/NO = 1).
So depending on the mapping everything runs - in my point of view but the different messages are not routed to the different services to write them to different files.

Query on Web , Enhanced menu- Query properties- Transfer button not working

Hello to all experts,
When We execute a query from query designer on to the web, if a user wants to go to Enhanced menu->Query properties and select any of the options existing there example "Tabular view, supress zeros ect ect " when he clicks on the button "TRANSFER at the bottom " to transfer his selected options , nothing happens... I have never seen this ? Bw netweaver platform 3.5 highest running patch is SAPKW35012
Does this have to do with any global query settings where tto look in for these settings? Also if this may help When we open query designer in local view I see that many buttons are inactive "Cell view" "Switch to global " ect and in Web application designer the "VIEW" option is grayed out as well ... Were are these settings maintained? Does anyone have any input , the most inportant being why iis the query properties "TRANSFER" button in Enhanced menu not working, i have seen no note on this

Webdynpro for abap: my cProjects enhancement post-exit is not working?

I enhanced this WD 'DPR_PROJECTS_VIEW' View'VI_PROJECTS_VIEW'.
created a post-exit in method 'MODIFY_BREADCRUMB', but it is not working.
the post-exit is not run.
May I know the reason? What should I do?

just to take care of the simple things first - Have you activated the enhancement? (I'm sure you have!) have you put in a breakpoint in the modify_breadcrumb method to see that it is being called at all?
Is it possible that the method is returning/exiting before your enhancement gets processed?

2 --> Inspection Lot Number
3 --> Date of Lot Creation
4--> Inspection Type
Normally the clint will give the Inspection Type ie 4th input and Date of Lot creation ie 3rd Input (Range of Date).

Enhanced Podcasts not working in 10.4.4 Firefox?

Every iWeb podcast page I've visited in Firefox 1.5 loads the QuickTime movie and shows an image and the playhead for a split second before being covered up by the QuickTime question mark image which links to the Quicktime download page.

This is a page that does not work for me. Is this a Firefox issue, or do you have to create the enhanced podcasts a certain way for Firefox?

I'm having the same problem but in Safari. I can see my podcast artwork and play / pause / start buttons whilst the page is loading but when the page is complete, the podcast turns into the broken quicktime logo.

I have definately got the latest version of everything installed.
The podcast was created in Garageband and sent to iWeb from there.
For some reason, friends who are using Windows can hear it no problem.
Also, the subscribe button works and the podcast works fine in iTunes.

SRS premium sound enhancements not working!!!!!

Two weeks back I installed Windows 8. Now I have Win 7 & Win 8 on dual boot. But SRS premium sound enhancement does not improve the sound quality in windows 8 as it does in windows 7. I mean it does nothing when I slide the audio enhancement slides. The sound is same whether the srs audio enhancement is enabled or not. But the equalizer works fine, only the audio enhancements not working.....my laptop HP G6 1202tx i3 4gb ram 500gb hdd 1gb radeon. Everything is okay in windows 7 but what happened to windows 8?

You could try to install the Windows 7 driver in compatibility mode:
Visit HP Support and get the Windows 7 drivers for the hardware you'd like to try.
Download the driver to your desktop.
Allow the extraction to complete but close the installation process when it comes up.
Navigate to the C:\swsetup\ folder. You will see your driver listed here. They usually have a name like "sp56349". Navigate to this folder.
Within your driver's folder you will see a "setup.exe" file. Right click this file and select Properties.
Navigate to the "Compatibility" tab.
Click the box that says "Run this program in Compatibility mode for..." and also select Windows 7 from the drop down menu.
Check the box which says "Run this program as administrator" at the bottom.
Save these changes and double-click the "setup.exe" to begin the install.
Once the install completes reboot your PC and verify the functionality of the piece of hardware.

Driver Enhancements not working TACTIC(3D) ALPHA

I am running windows 7 64 bit and using the USB Connection.
Popped out and bought the headset at lunctime, downloaded and installed driver and the control panel, connected the headset, rebooted. Connected headset and updated firmware.
Sound and mic work fine - however the "Driver Enhancements" are not working. Anything I adjust in the Sound Blaster Tactic(3D) Control panel has any effect on output of the sound at all. VoiceFX not changing anything, and neither are the THX TruStudio Pro settings...
Also, if I right click on the volume control in the system tray and select "Playback devices" I get a message that says : Windows has detected that audio enhancements for the following device are causing problems: Headset *Sound Blaster Tactic(3D) Alpha) .. Would you like to disable Driver Enhancements for this device (Y/N)"
So something is clearly amiss with either the driver or the driver enhancements. Very disappointed that after spending 40 quid on a headset that it doesnt do what it says on the box....
Does anyone else have this issue on windows 7 64bit and does anyone have a solution?
