Hi Partson,
It is needed to connect this system with solution manager and create stack.xml using
maintanance optimizer. The main aim of this is to let you know what usage types/ functionalities are to be
selected from stack.xml.
It is also needed to download all the required support packs/ addons using maintanance optimizer.
If you have DVDs containing the same product that matches with stack.xml, you can provide them.
But the safest way is is to give all the tasks to solution manager , It will create , and download neccesary sps, addons to your
download basket.

Hello,
I have installed EHP4 + NW 7.01 on a running ERP 6.0 system with SAPEhpI.
Now I am not really sure if the implemented languages are also "upgraded" successfully.
The following languages are implemented additionally:
Serbian (latin)
Slovakian
Ukrainien
Romanian
Hungarian
1st question:
When I execute SMLT, there I can see the languages with a green traffic light.
But when I look in the "Detail Information" I can see some warnings (screenshot: http://img175.imageshack.us/img175/2291/ehp4system.jpg) for example:
"System component: EA-APPL 604 <- 600".
Is the language-part of this component still on release 600?
In cause of that I have to implement the specific packages?
2nd question:
I also execute the report "RSTLAN_IMPORT_OCS" in SE38.
Here it displays some "red marked" components which I must implement and some "yellow marked" components which I could import for this language.
The red marked components are sometimes old releases for example ST-PI 2005 but 2008 is already installed.
Is it needed that I reimplement all of this displayed packages for the language?

Hi,
Please kindly check the SAP note 1402868.
This note refers to language on EHP4.
After the EHP, some packages are delivered, and for those packages, the
Language Supplementation is required.
Please refer to the sap attached note 330104.
This note explains about the packages that need supplementation after
the EHP.

Cannot download SPS15 for SAP ERP 6.0 from MOPZ

Hello gurus,
I need your help. I am planning to upgrade my ECC 6.0 system to EhP4 SPS3, but for this I need to update my system first from its current level of SPS09 to SPS15 (SP Level equivalent of EhP4 SPS03), so for this I want to download SPS15 from maintenance optimizer for my system EC2 which is an ERP 6.0.
There are two update options, right: Maintenance and Enhancement Package Installation. I chose maintenance, and then clicked next. But all i see is the following:
TArget Enhancement Package Version: SAP ERP EhP4 / NW7.01
Target enhancement package stack: SAP ERP EhP4 on NW7.01 - SP Stack (02-09)
But all i want to download is SPS15. How can I proceed?
Please advise.

For SRM 7.0 there are 2 Business Packages available -
- BP for SAP SRM 7.0 - BP SRM 7.0 (Refer notes : 1232945, 1178469, 1178470)
This business package contains content for the following areas:
SAP SRM Core
Harmonized Procurement for SAP ERP & SAP SRM (Procurement Business Package for SAP ERP & SAP SRM)
SAP SRM on One Client in SAP ERP
SAP SRM Procurement for Public Sector
Generic Roles
Control Center User (cc_user)
Roles for Technical Purposes
SRM Portal Toolkit (com.sap.pct.srm.com.ro_srmportaltoolkit)

EHP4 FOR SAP ERP 6.0 / NW7.01

I am new to SAP and have successfully Installed SAP ERP 6.0/NW 7.01 on Windows Server 2008 R2 with Oracle 10g. We would like to go ahead and apply the enhancements Package 4 to ERP 6.0 (SAP Enh. Package 4 for SAP ERP 6.0 1). I have no knowledge on how to install Enhancement packages.
Can someone please guide me on what is needed. What program or utility I can use to apply the EHP4. Any tips or direction would be would be nice.

Hi Amirsd,
You will need to use your Solution manager system to apply EHP 4 to your newly installed system.
Use MOPZ to generate XML file which contains the packages to be downloaded to upgrade your current system to EHP 4.0
After that download EHPI tool from SAP Marketplace and use EHPI tool to install downloaded packages.
It would run in 7 phases including downtime phase.

Component Version "SAP ERP 6.0" instead of "EHP 4 for SAP ERP 6.0 /7.0"

Hi All,
We went to ERP Enhancement Package 4 in ours SAP Systems.
We performed the upgrade (with the SAPehpi tool) in DEV and TEST, the weird part is that in DEV the System Data - Component Version shows "SAP ECC 6.0" and in TEST shows "EHP 4 for SAP ERP 6.0 /7.0".
The 2 systems have the same SP level.
Any idea ?

EHP4 for SAP ERP 6.0

Hello,
I am installing Enhancement Package 4 for SAP ERP 6.0 (Windows Server 2003 x64/Oracle) using EHPinstaller tool.
SAP ERP 6.0 is an existing system. When I started the EHPi tool, I got to know that there are 8 stages in the installation roadmap.
If anyone has done this before, could you please let me know how much time (days/hrs) does this entire process take (all the 8 stages) as I am stuck in the EXTRACTION stage (2nd stage) for more than 24 hrs now. The EHPi is running as I can see in the task manager (1 to 4% CPU Utilization with no users on the SAP system), but its taking lots of time.
I havent even entered the 'resource utilization strategy' yet, which is taken as a parameter in the 3rd stage of CONFIGURATION.
I have already done the PREPARATION steps in installation guide, but am unable to find the reason behind such a long running stage.
Also, on checking EHPi logs, no error is logged as yet.
Please let me know the how long should I wait before stopping/terminating the installation?

This depends HEAVILY on your system speed. I have made EHP4 installations taking 2 days to 7 days.
24h for the extraction is very much, there seems to be a problem. I'd check the latest logs in EHPI\abap\log for possible issues. The extraction usually does nothing more than extracting all the SAR files to the correct places. This shouldn't take 24 h.

Do we have to create a OSS message for it.

For EHP software,
Please use service.sap.com/swdc, there select Installations and Upgrades"->Entry by Application Group ->SAP Application Components" ->SAP ERP" ->SAP ERP ENHANCE PACKAGE" ->SAP ENH PACK 3 FOR SAP ERP 6.0
Here you will find CD's,which contains the whole components for EHP.
If you need Enhancement patches, use service.sap.com/patches: "Support Packages and Patches->Entry by Application Group ->SAP Application Components" ->SAP ERP" ->SAP ERP ENHANCE PACKAGE" ->SAP ENH PACK 3 FOR SAP ERP 6.

Enhancement package for service procurement Log-MM-P2PSE- not available

Dear Experts,
'Enable enhancement package for service procurement' - Log_MM_P2PSE_1 - Procurement - SRM Integration is available for activation from MM system (ECC 6.0 Enhapk 4.) for activation of the service procurement classic scenario.
However, I have downloaded a new installation (ECC 6.0 Enhancement pk 4) from service market place. The package is not available here. Why?
Do we need to install it do something extra?

If you look at the SRM-MDM Catalog scenarios described in the following page, it seems that you don't need SRM for some of them. :

We have solution manger 7.0 ehp1 ,
ERP 6. 0 EHP4 Development server(seperate server) this is upgraded from erp 6.0 to erp 6.0 ehp4
I configured the maintenece optimzer also. and created the RFC destinations also it is working fine. For downloading the support packages In Miantenance optimizer I am getting the error.

I deleted the systems in SMSY and and recreated using the SLD refresh. Agin also I am getting the sama error for downloading the support packages. I chagned the systems details in the Service.sap.com also. in the logs it is showing the below error also

we have the same error in our environment.
Product version is EHP4 for ERP6.0 and we have both product version (EHP4 and ERP 6.0) active in the SMSY as described in SAP note 1464712 and nethertheless we get this error message.
" No Addon Product Version allowed for transaction: EHP4 FOR SAP ERP 6.0 / NW7.01 (01200615320900003195)"
Anyone with a solution here?

E-commerce 5.0 for SAP ERP 6.0 ehp3: detailed description of product

Hello community,
I have installed and customized B2C shop (version 5.0) for SAP ERP 6.0 (NO TREX, NO IPC).
At first i maintained my shop with english language and after i checked out that all work properly i decided to localize it for russian language.
I created new shop for russian language and faced the following problem: list of products in my shop displays correctly but when i want to check detailed description of product (click on product in list) i see something like this &#1053 &#1086 &#1091 &#1090 &#1073 &#1091 &#1082 instead of description on russian.
Can somebody help me to sort out this issue?

Business Package for SAP Best Practices for Enterprise Portal

Hi,
We are implementing EP for ECC 5.0 and we have to web enable some FI transactions like FB50/fb60 etc. We want to use standard business package for this. The only business package that caters this requirement is "Business Package for SAP Best Practices for Enterprise Portal 60.1". When i checked the data source for this business package, the specification is for "SAP R/3 4.6B and above". Does this work for ECC 5.0 as well? In general does the R/3 specific business packages work for ECC versions? Please let me know. Thanks for the help. I promise rewards.

For EP 7.0, you would have to go for BP for Learning 1.0.
