I have just figured out the answer to a previous post regarding .css files.
Now checking if anyone can please tell me I am wrong about this:
Running Apex on ORACLE XE means that every change to a .css file will only be visible after loading the images directory into the database??

Yes, that is correct.
Fortunately, you can map the APEX images directory to the drive in Windows (or volume on a Mac) using WebDAV. This way, you can edit the .css files right on the database, eliminating the need to load them to the database after each change.

So I have a number of PC's in the house that are dumping music into a central PC with a network shared drive.
The music is dumped into the "automatically added to library" folder on the remote PC. Itunes is always running in the background.
When I open iTunes on my local PC a script retrieves the newest ITL file from the remote PC, then the script opens iTunes using the updated ITL file.
This way I have a fresh copy of the remote library music every time. The problem is the music location under advanced settings. I can change it every time but I would like to make this as automatic as possible. The question I guess is if there is a way to lock the music location or have it change via a script every time iTunes opens.You can't change the location of the media folder from a script, neither can you change which library file is opened. I assume your script simply copies the current master library into the normal location for the file on each client machine. Do you not get a file locked error? What about the other library files and the Album Artwork cache?
Your scheme may work best if you use a common drive letter for your media folder and have it so the media folder is not inside the master library folder. E.g.
Master library folder at X:\iTunes
Master media folder at X:\iTunes Media
Where all the computers see drive X: as the same object, be it the whole of that drive or a shared folder on it.
If you have the typical arrangement (iTunes Media inside iTunes) then when you copy the library from X:\iTunes into C:\....\iTunes and start iTunes it will attempt to "correct" for the fact that you've apparently moved the library and reset the library folder to C:\....\iTunes\iTunes Media. It should still be able to find the media at the correct location, but if you accidentally load anything up from a client machine it will end up in a local folder.
If you are not already familiar with it iTunes Folder Watch will be a useful tool for catching up with any additions made on the client computers. You should probably also ensure that each of the clients has the "Keep iTunes Media folder organized" option disabled.

My MacBook Pro keeps making copies of a document that I am trying to save. I don't want to duplicate the file. I only want to save it on both my hard drive and my external hard drive. I do not want to change its name for every save, which the computer seems insistent on doing. Help!!

Sounds like a permissions problem ie read only.
If running repair permissions from your DiskUtility.app does not sort it,

Ive tried disconnecting and reconnecting the Time Machine. And I've tried rebooting the iMac, but I still get the top left hand quarted of the screeen blacked out. I can scroll back through the back-ups but the back square means that I can't see the details of any file.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, or by corruption of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -
When I add a folder to the library, does that mean that 'later' when I drop a new file into that folder (already added) it will automatically end up in iTunes? (or do I have to add file/folder to library every time I have a new file??) I'm using XP...
iTunes does not actively scan the media folders. If you manually add content to a folder, then you must add that content to iTunes manually via the File > Add File/Folder feature.
The only folder that gets scanned is the "Automatically add to iTunes" folder. -

Notes in Mail: Every time I type a new note it is emailed to my Mail along with a new note for every change I make to it.
I don't mind the Note being updated in my mail but I don't need a new copy every time I edit/add to the note.

If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple ID and that ID is a previous version of your current ID, not an entirely different one.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device. It may take a short while to remove the account.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.

Dear apple, I am really dissapointed with you. Around January 2013, my iPhone 4s 16GB White has hardware issues, which was the Wi-Fi grey out. The wifi grey out means that I can't access the wifi on/off button, and also it has no connection. I have put up with it for months, until june 7 when I decided it has been long enough, and I got a replacement. I told the genius bar what happened, and I already did the so called "steps" that apple reccommended on the site, which was reset network settings, restore iPhone. The genius bar gave me a replacement phone, so I was expecting that the problem would be over, but it isn't. It seems that it's iOS 6.1.3 which is the case of most public complaints on apple iPhone products. Not even 3 weeks after I got the phone replaced, it is doing it again, so I suspect I'm just going to get a replacement again? Unfortunately I only have until 5th of july 2013 until my 1 year warranty is up. After that, any issue I have, I have to purchase apple care. People are expecting this problem to be fixed but I don't see it being solved any time soon. This is horrible and really low, because I have been a good customer, when I talk to the people at the genius bar, I show the utmost respect I can to them for the work they put into their job, but somewhere there is a problem where something has gone wrong. Because of that, people that only have a one year warranty (which i received because I purchased my apple iPhone at an Optus outlet, once that one year warranty is up, I have to pay for a problem that isn't even my fault? That isn't how it should work, you should be fixing this problem so people can be happy customers and leave happy. Obviously you don't all know how to do your jobs, because if you did, we wouldn't have this problem. I would like a replacement phone, ONCE AGAIN. I have nine, 1-page PDF files that are accessible and need to combine into 1 PDF file. I have tried appending, adding and the combine PDFs process. The file created is not keeping my changes. The created file is partially accessible but I have to re-fix issues I had fixed in the single files. I need suggestions on what else can be done if any. Using Acrobat pro XI.
Out of habit, I tend to combine PDF files in the Page Thumbnails pane by right-click then "Insert Pages" -> "From File". For me, this preserves the tags from both documents, although the tags may have to be moved into the right location (if I recall correctly the tags for the inserted pages get put at the end of the tag structure, regardless of where the pages are inserted), If I first put the tags for the document to be inserted inside a container tag like Section, it makes the process easier. Moving that set of tags to the right place is the only re-fixing that I recall having to do. What behavior are you experiencing?

While using the dynamic path in a multiple languages enabled site, language Id(1033 etc) will be added to the path automatically. That cause the file to be not found.

Access 2010 Chart - Report returns an identical chart for every record in the underyling query
Hi there, I hope someone can help me with this. I've created a stacked column chart in a Report. The chart seems to be working fine but my report is returning a chart for every record in the source query. The chart adds up the days each vehicle in
a fleet was used in a given time frame. I'm not a code writer so wizarded my way to the following:

The chart seems to be producing exactly what I want but it's repeated once for every record in the source query. I don't know if this is the issue but I don't have a Master/Child field linking the chart to the report it's in - chart is unbound and therefore
won't allow me to link fields. I'd sure appreciate any help you can offer! Thanks!
(Incidentally VehicleUseForMonthStarting is a date field - ideally it should be shown as a DatePart MMMM but for whatever reason Access is balking at the Format expression.)

I installed Adobe Web and Design Preium CS6 on windows 8.1, but when I open the program the size of the menus and tools are so tiny. It is not like that for Acrobat, but all the other programs. Is there a fix for this?
