EPrint Center

I can't login to the ePrint center, I get a message. " AJAX submit failed: error = 403 , Forbidden" on my IBM laptop and iPad2 as well. What's the problem?

  • I still cannot sign into eprint center despite everything, always an error with my private email

address. i see that this has been a familiar and very frustrating issue for many. i read that i am not suppose to sign in with the printer email address so I don't know what to do. I registered it with private email, somewhere along the line i think it was switched to default but who knows. Regardless, it won't let me set up an account with my private email because its "in use". well yes its mine but its not "in use" for sure. I have read so much last night and now more hours tonight. I do know that we are not suppose to use the random printer email address to sign in so i dont know what to do. just seems ridiculous that this is so complicated. my whole intent is to change my printer email to something more user friendly, see what apps people really like to use that i can add...... but left at the door. HP? someone smart? please help......

I was able to use eprint center, but my personal email address didn't work, same as yours. I never saw instructions to not use the random printer email address, and I finally tried that and it worked. The email address was the Printer Code @hpeprint.com. Once I got in like that, it let me create a nicer email address for my printer, but the suffix is still @hpeprint.com. I have not been able to use my personal address in the eprint center, so I guess it really wants the printer's email address. I hope this helps you!

  • Can you see ink levels from Eprint center for the OfficeJet 7500A/E910

Can You monitor ink levels from eprint center for the OfficeJet 7500A/E910?
    This question was solved.

    Hello Raimonds,
To answer your question, you are not able to check your ink levels from ePrint Center. The only thing that you can do in ePrint Center is monitor the status of your recent print jobs that you send via ePrint and monitor the status of connection of your printer to the ePrint Servers.

  • Can't re-add printer after removing from eprint center - 'Web Services Problem'

I have an HP Photosmart Premium C310 series printer (Model Number CN503B) which I have been using with ePrint for about 18 months. Aside from intermittent issues it has worked, I use a chromebook most of the time so rely on the ePrint option via Google Cloud Print.
Last week it stopped working, with every job in the list showing as cancelled. Following advice on the forum I removed the email address of the printer from the eprint center. I thought it would then be simple to add the printer back. However, I have been unable to connect the printer to the web service so I cannot create the code I need to add the printer back.
    STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
    1. Factory reset printer settings
    2. Factory reset network settings
    3. Restart printer and Reboot router
    3. Settings -> Network -> Wireless Setup Wizard
    4. Choose correct SSID, enter password for WPA
    5. ‘Connected to Network’
    6. Settings -> Web -> Enable Web Services
    7. ‘Accept terms’ screen -> Accept
    8. ‘Checking for product updates’ screen shows briefly then returns to 'accept terms' screen
    9. Next it makes a ping sound and shows ‘Web Services Problem’ ‘Problem connecting to Web Services Server’, it then pings again a few seconds later (which ties in with what I see in the network logs as a second attempt)
    10. Log on to printer via web interface and set IP address of printer to manual IP outside DHCP range (as advice on other threads in this forum). Check DNS setting valid (same as gateway server which all other devices on network are also using successfully as DNS)
    11. Repeat steps 6 and 7 - still same error message
I consider myself technically savvy and have followed all advice I can find on this forum including the following:
    1. reverting to printer and network defaults
    2. rebooting router
    3. assigning static IP address to printer outside of DHCP range of router
    4. connecting to printer via web interface and setting DNS to variously: same as gateway, google DNS (8.8.8.8), ISP DNS
    5. adjusting firewall settings on router to explicitly allow and log outbound connection on the HP ports (already had a rule allowing all outbound connections)
As mentioned, the printer worked fine with ePrint previously so I suspect the ePrint server is rejecting a request from my printer for some reason, maybe because there is old / corrupt  data on the server regarding my specific printer.
I’m logging outbound traffic from the printer and here are what the router logs show me (printer IP replaced with 192.168.x.x below, even though it is not public )

Looks like both are HP sites: first is 'g4t2674.houston.hp.com' and the second secure one is ‘registration-pro-site2eprint.houston.hp.com’ which sound likely to be correct. That suggests the DNS is working but that the registration server doesn’t like the request for some reason.
I had the printer registered for Google Cloud Print but I have now deleted that also and it doesn’t seem to have made any difference (assume it just formats and forwards to the HP ePrint email anyway).
One hack that sheds some further light is to switch off wifi on the printer and then switch on ePrint. Eprint gives an error but stays set as 'on'. When I then switch wifi back on I can then at least check for product updates (it tells me I have the latest product updates). However, web services are still a 'no go'. Network traffic for that product update exchange looks like this:

So clearly the printer can communicate to those servers well enough to find it has the latest firmware.
I realise this is a lot of information but hopefully some of it is helpful for troubleshooting.
Thank you in advance for any help!

The issue disappeared this weekend. I didn't change anything so it must have been something server side. I notice others with the same issue have also seen it resolved.
Thanks to all those who contributed and tried to help out. Although disappointed I went for a long time without ePrint I'm glad that action was apparently taken to resolve in the end.

It might be as your eprint account was associated with Snapfish during its registration, therefoer retrieving the password via ePrint Center fails.
Try going to Snapfish and reset the password from there by clicking Log In > Forgot your password, then try using the same details to access the ePrint Center.
Please let me know if that helps,

Unable to login to ePrint Center.  It says I'm using the wrong password.
When I try to use "Forgot Password", it rejects my email address.  I give up.

The issue you're experiencing is most likely due to an old Snapfish account registered under your email address. ePrintCenter and Snapfish account information is stored in the same place and I've seen this conflict before. You will need to go to http://www.snapfish.com/snapfish/welcome, click the "Sign In" in the top right hand corner of the page and then click the "forgot password" link and enter the email address that is causing your problems, you should receive an email from Snapfish that will let you create a new password there. Once you've created a new password for Snapfish, try to Sign In on ePrintCenter (http://www.eprintcenter.com/) using your email address and the new password you created for Snapfish.

  • HP ePrint Center

why do i get this response at Create an account when i try to setup an account at HP ePrint Center  for my hp officejet 4620 ?   ajax submit failed: error = 403, forbidden

That is just a browser issue that comes and goes. It has to do with the cache and cookies that your browser is capturing from the webiste. I would recommend just using a different browser if you have one installed. You could also go into your settings and try clearing out the cache, cookies, and history.

I have signed in to HP using my email address.  I changed printers and now want to use air print.  I cannot sign on to eprint center because my email exists.  I cannot have them send my password because they say my email does not exist.  Can you help?

    Hello irish1144,
Try clicking the Snapfish icon on the sign in page and using the "Forgot Password?" link. It will direct you to a page where you type in your email address and click "Send" and normally you will be sent a link to reset your password. Once you have reset your password, try logging in using the ePrintCenter login and see if it will allow you to login.

  • Printing using the ePrint Center...can't possibly be this limited?

Hi, I've just installed an Officejet 7500A Wide Format e-All-in-One and am trying to get the ePrint Center to work...
Any image files I email are rejected by my printer. It spits out a blank page and then tells me the paper size is wrong, with no other option but to cancel the whole job.
I see you can only send images above 100dpi - which is kind of dumb as most images you pull off the web are 72dpi and there's a 5mb limit so you can't print many 300dpi images either but hey - but when it says you can only print to 4x6, does that mean it won't print out on A4 at all?
Surely this can't be right? That I'd have to - in advance - replace the A4 paper with 4x6 photo paper before I leave the house, just in case I want to print an image while I'm out by email is weird enough...rather negating the convenience of the whole shabang...but I'd have to print only 4x6 images that happen to be above 100dpi? What if the image is bigger than 4x6?
    I've got this wrong haven't I? Surely?
    Matt x
PS I've got the mobile app which is peachy but my iphone doesn't swap files with PCs very easily <understatement> so that won't help with printing files off my netbook.

    Hi mattinkent,
You can use the HP ePrint Home & Biz app found HERE. This app will allow you to change the paper size on the fly, so you can print the photo on A4, bypassing the need to preload the 4x6.
First, you'll want to create an ePrint account HERE. Then, enable ePrint on your printer and register the printer with your ePrint account. Click HERE for guide on setting up ePrint on your printer.
Lastly, you'll want to add the printer to your HP ePrint Home & Biz app.

  • HP 6500A Plus "not connected" to eprint center

I have just purchased an HP 6500A Plus and after setting up the printer All-in-one on the network and printing test pages from two computers on my network. I pushed the app button and was able to access various applications. I also logged into the eprint center in my browser and was able to see that the printer was connected to the eprint center. I then proceed to print some items for the app menu on the printer, they printed correctly. The next day I went to access the app menu on the printer touch screen and the printer gave me an error message that it could not connect to the server. It ran through every fix I could find online, but you have 44 pages of people complaining about this same issue without any solution. So I though maybe you would personally send me a solution if I reached out on a post. I know the printer is setup correctly on the wireless network and continue to be able to print wirelessly from all my computers. However the app center never connects ( I have turned off and on the printer, I have unplugged the printer, I have cycled the router multiple times, I have changed the IP address, I have removed it from the network and reset up the wireless connection)
So what is the fix, this seemingly is effecting every eprint center user.

    Hi,
From the printer setup menu select, "Printer Status Report". In the printed report look for entries "Printer name",  "Printer model name" and "serial number". Do you see any information printed??? OR is it blank????
Also from the main screen, press the "Return key" four times. We cannot see this key as it is not glowing/not highlighted, however, observing closely you can see it. This opens Support menu.
Go into  "Information Menu" and check the details displayed for "Printer name", Printer Model name and serial number. Are they blank???
Also contact your ISP and in the router webpage, set "Port Forwarding" for the ports 80, 443, 5222,5223
