Epson C42UX- Disabled Print Options

Not sure when it happened, but printing from Preview, Safari and Firefox for example, I now have Options disabled:
PrintSettings_W and ColorManagement_W (and they have strikethrough them).
I just did software update yesterday so on latest and greatest.
Anyone know what is going on??
As a note- Entourage is fine, but not much else.
Also Epson Printer utility just hangs and won't even open.

Enable/Disable Print Option

I can totally disable the print option from the security section of properties by setting a password. But i want to enable it through scripting in the form and then allow the user to print. Is there a way for it?

Disable Print Option in Browser

Hello,
I have a page which i do not want the users to save it or take a print out. i have captured the right click event and ctrl + P event. i need to disable the toolbar menu. i do not want to open it in a new window with no menubar. Instead i want to disable the toolbar in the currrent window. Is there any solution for this?

One way to disable users from using print button on a
browser is to open the page in a window with
menubar=no
For example,

Well this will not stop one from printing , User can right click on the browser window and select print option

Epson R200 looses print options

I have an Epson R200 that I've been using happily with a G5 running Tiger. I regularly print photos to it. A couple weeks ago - after nothing else had changed - it stopped giving me all my print options. I get the standard number of copies and output to file, etc but I don't get the Epson specific options - like individual color saturation and more specific types of paper.
At first, I assumed it was a driver issue and I downloaded and reinstalled Epson's latest drivers for this printer. Didn't work. I then deleted all traces of previous Epson drivers and preferences and tried again to no avail. I logged in as a different user and had the same problem.
I spent time on the phone with Epson and Apple who had me try basic things before pointing the finger at each other. Finally, I archived and installed Tiger again, did all my updates, reinstalled the printer and everything worked - yay!
Until about two days ago. Again nothing has changed - nothing new installed, no updates - but suddenly all my Epson specific options are missing. Apple and Epson are still no help. So to you members of the forum I say, "Help!"

Disabling print options

Hi,
I am faced with a problem where we are trying to publish a multi-page document to our customers. The customers should be able to open the document and print it. However, we want to make sure that they print all pages and not be able to selectively print certain pages. Is there a way to accomplish this? The customers can always pull the plug on the printer, but atleast we should be able to disable the options for them to selectively print.

Upgraded and lost Epson R200 Borderless printer option

I just upgraded to Tiger on my eMac, and was sailing through everything until I went to print an 8x10 borderless print on my Epson R200. The "sheet-fed_ borderless printer option I used to have was no longer available in any of my apps. I went to print utility to try to add it again and couldn't find it in any list of options, even trying to add it to the list!
Anyone else had this happen or does anyone know what's going on here?

My wife can print to my shared printers from her Win XP box borderless all day long, but my new "worlds most advanced operating system equipped dual 2.7 ghz Mac workstation and my G5 iMac can't print a simple borderless photo to save their lives. Epson r200 and a 2200, gimp and epson drivers. So far the only way I have gotten a borderless print is with a demo of $199 PowerRip software (with a big watermark). This function should be included in Tiger, what is going on. Lets all get on Apples case. Ask them why "it just works" on Windows and not on Mac. (little frustrated...)

Disable print option in PDF export

Hi guys - I'd like to use the PDF export of slideshows as a quick way of generating documents for clients to view, but during tests I find the resulting PDF allows for pages/images to be printed.
How would I switch this option off? Can I switch it off at all?

Here is what you do.
If you don't have the complete Adobe Acrobat software, buy it. About $199 as I remember. Then you can adjust the PDF file in the s/w. Then resave the file.
AFAIK, that is the only way. I tested it [I have Adobe Acrobat] and it works.
I don't think there is any other way.

We are using OBIEE11g.I have one simple prompt.(Default i set background Blue color,Lable White and selection font Black).When i print my dashboard it appears Background is Blue,Label is black and Font is Black.How come Label is Black?
Could you please let me know while printing PDF formate which config file i have to change.

1. You can try add logo in title of request that you would like to print. PDF and print control is setting printing of whole dashboard, not request.
2. Or if you have more request in dashboard you can set "Collapsible" option on each request, so that user can choose which request he would like to print with logo (header). If you are using this method you must disable print option on every request, and allow only printing the whole dashboard.
If I haven't explain in understandable way please let me know, I will try to explain it again.

We are having dashboard which having multiple grids. I wolud like to enable print option for the entire dashboard aswell as for the individual grid. I am surprise there is no print option available in the dashboard as of now. Can anyone help me with some thoughts on this.

My Lr5.7.1 doesn't recognize my Epson XP-760 printer and after customising the printout in the Print Module the Print options (lower right AND Main Menu Archive Print) are disabled

I am running Lr5.7.1 on an iMac Retina 5K (OS X Yosemite 10.10.1). My printer (Epson XP-760) works fine with all other applications but not with Lr!!! After selecting my printout preferences in the Print Module it works if I select Print File and save it to the desktop and then take it up as a Preview and print it from there. This is not what I want. I expect that the Print button (low right corner) should be abled rather than disabled and send to printer directly from within Lr's Print Module. It doesn't matter if the printer is on Wi-Fi or USB (or even both).
What is the problem? What else can or should I do to make it work as I expect?

I have updated Yosemite to 10.10.2 and my problems remain. Reading About Lightroom 5.7.1, the pop-up window doesn't specifically say 5.7.1 and there is no choice to select More details (I can only trust that I am running really 5.7.1). I am sure that I really am Printing to file since this is the only choice I have ever seen enabled in my Lr5.7.1, whereas I have NEVER seen the Print option enabled. I enclose a screen dump (in Swedish) fyi.
So, I am still confused but on a somewhat higher level!

How to disable printing "Issue Output to" options in transaction va03

hi friends
we would like to disable the printing option "Issue output to" in transaction code va03. We just want our users to see/display the sales order through va03. This is the requirement from our management.
Now i have tried to control the access on this but its not working. there is no field settings for "print:" or value "04" in the authorization object concerning this namely : V_VBKA_VKO,V_VBAK_VKO & V_VBAK_AAT . i also tried creating a new authorization object Z_Vbka_vko and made the settings for authorization check in su24 but still its allowing to print.
i am starting to feel that this setting must be predefined in code for va03 and i might have to insert an "authorization check" option in the standard report for va03. but i am not sure about it.
so i request if anyone can share their views on this or help me with a definitive solution for blocking this "issue output to" option in va03.

Dear Nate,
You can restrict this with small bit of ABAP code in the routine. Create a routine with the logic of which suits your requirement & assign this routine against output condition type.
You want this to be controlled in VA03. So you can assign this in Output type assigned in Output procedure.
Here you would like the system not to print output for all the users or specific users.
if its applicable for all the users , then routine will suffice your requirement, if you wish to restrict only for specific users, then wihtin the logic, user Zcustom table, with "username " as one of the key field & write the logic in routine, so that print in VA03 is possible only for the listed userID s maintained in this Ztable.
