ERROR 1002 WHILE ROCOVERY DISK HP G60-441 US WINDOWS VISTA 32BIT

I HAVE HP G60-441US MODEL WITH WINDOWS VISTA 32BITS, PRODUCT NUMBER NW142UA. I TRY TO MAKE ROCOVERY DVD DISK WITH RECOVERY MANAGER BUT IT IS FIALED ON 2ND DVD. THEN I TRY TO RECOVERY WITH RECOVERY MANAGER IT SHOWS ME ERROR 1002 WHILE I PRESS OK ; COMPUTER IS RESTARTED AND BOOTMGR IS MISSING PRESS CLT+ALT+DEL FOR RESTART. AFTER THAT I CHECK HARD DRIVED MEMEROY IT IS ALSO FAILED. AND WHILE STATING COMPUTER IT SHOWS ME TO REPALCE BATTERY.
I DID ORDER RECOVERY DISK FROM HP SUPPORT AND REPLACEMENT BATTERY. IT TAKES ONE WEEK TO GET IT.
NOW I WANT TO KNOW THIS IS HARD DISK PROBLEM OR JUST SOFTWARE PROBLEM. I TRY TO DO FORMAT MY COMPUTER DUE TO BAD PROFORMANCE, TAKES TOO LONG TIME WHILE STARTING COMPUTER AND IT IS FIALED ON WINDOWS UPGARDING AND CONFIGURING.

it sounds like you have a network drive you are trying to map even though you are not logged in maybe in a script or task instead of backing up to :P backup to the share, make sure you have security set properly to run the task when not logged on.
I assume you are running a backup of some sort as this is the backup forum..

Error when installing itunes version 9 on Windows Vista 32bit

When trying to install itunes version 9 an error has come up before the installation is complete.
The error reads -

Can anyone help me - I am using windows vista 32bit. Have tried turing off ALL security and reinstalling as someone else suggested previously. But still have had no luck

Not a lot of documentation on that one, I'm afraid, but there's some general principles troubleshooting we can try with it that might get us moving forwards.
(1) Do you currently have a copy of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package installed on that PC? If so, try downloading the following security update:

Does iTunes install for you after applying that update?
(2) If no joy there, head into your Windows Update and click on the Update History. Have a lot of Updates also been failing for you recently? If so, doubleclick on the entries for the failed updates to bring up more information on each. What error codes appear for you for the failed updates? (Precise spelling, please.)

Install disk doesn't work with Windows Vista

I just bought a new HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M277dw and the install disk isn't compatible with Windows Vista. Apparently there's no ful feature option for Windows Vista on an HP laptop. After several hours of work I downloaded several drivers and got the printer to print, but the scan function doesn't work that well without the HP software which hasn't been created for Windows Vista.

I am having a very similar problem but do not have an answer either. I am running an X61 Type 7676A12 with a Lenovo ACP50 port replicator FRU part number 40Y8160. I am running Windows XP Pro. The port replicator has never been very great and would not restore the external monitor picture properly when the laptop had been in sleep mode however it was serviceable if not optimal. After downloading and installing the October MS security updates the machine would get a BSOD when the port replicator was plugged in. Remove the replicator and reboot and it worked ok. Plug it in again and BSOD. I tried upgrading the drivers from 5.1.4a to 7.1.1.03Aug07 and then to 7.1.2. No go. Emailing Targus with the problem got no response. The port replicator is now relegated to my junk heap of useless rubbish.

Getting error 3253 while downloading ios 6.1.3 on windows 7.

I am getting error 3253 while downloading ios 6.1.3 on my windows 7. I am having version 11.0.2.26 of i-Tunes. I tried downloading manier times but not worth after downloading half of the size i lost my network connection and error -3253 pop up. I also turned off windows firewall but nothing is worth. Prvious time when i was running with microsoft xp i just download internet explorer 8 and it fixed my problem, but i don't get solution for windows 7, Please help me out

This may be because out-of-date or incorrectly configured security or firewall software is interfering, or due to your Internet proxy settings. If you are using a proxy, try removing the proxy settings, or using a known-good network. If that does not resolve the issue, follow iTunes for Windows: Troubleshooting security software issues.

Error while launching Workbench ES 8.2 on windows Vista

I successfully installed Workbench ES 8.2 on windows Vista. When i was trying to launch Workbench it is throwing an error and it does not open workbench.
Error : An error has occurred. See the log file
C:\Program Files\Adobe\LiveCycle ES\Workbench ES\Workbench\workspace\.metadata\.log
I do not even have "\workspace\.metadata\.log" this directory at all.
Please help....

I ran into that problem too. If "Run as Administrator" doesn't work (I don't think it did for me), re-install Workbench in "C:\Adobe\" NOT "C:\Program Files\Adobe\", which is the default. I think the Program Files folder has some kind of security setting on it that doesn't allow Workbench to add log entries.
Once I did that, I've been able to run Workbench on Vista with little or no issue (even though technically Adobe doesn't support Vista yet).

Trying to update itunes 10.4 to 10.5.3 in windows vista 32bit but keeps coming up with error message

I am trying to update my itunes 10.4 to 10.5.3 in windows vista 32 bit but it goes through the downloading ok then goes to installing but comes up with "An errors occurred while installing updates. If the problem persists, choose TOOLS>DOWNLOAD ONLY and try installing manually". I have tried to do that but i am unable to click the download only button. I have gone into programs and features and tried repairing itunes, apple application support, apple software update, bonjour, apple mobile device support but to no avail. I have tried to update via the button but it goes through the downloading and installing like before then comes up with Im not very savvy on the computer so would appreciate a 'dumbed down' answer. Any help would be appreciated thanks in advance

Have you tried uninstalling iTunes and its components completely rather than repairing them?

Get error 7 message when trying to open iTunes in windows vista

All of a studded my windows vista 64 bit computer will not open iTunes. It has a error 7 message. I have tried removing it according to supports instructions with no luck. One problem that I had is that it told you to delete the iTunes folder in the common files and it would not let me do that but everything else deleted.still no luck when I reinstalled, any help would be appreciated. I also tried updating the net framework, no luck.

"Port In Use" error message when trying to sync Palm m500 to Windows Vista machine

An error message on my Palm displays "Error: Serial Port in Use (Serial 0307)" when I try to sync my Palm m500 to my Windows Vista (32 bit) Home Basic machine. It worked until about 3 months ago and I don't have a restore point that far back to try System Restore. I've upgraded to Palm Desktop 6.2.2 (was using 4.xx) and downloaded the PalmHotSyncSetup from Pimlico Software but nothing helps. Any ideas are appreciated.

I would try connecting the Palm's cradle, with the Palm in it, to your PC and then, in Device Manager, right-clicking on Palm Handheld #2 and selecting Uninstall Driver. Palm Handheld/Palm Handheld #1 could be visible if you connect the Palm to USB port you may have tried using perviously.
After uninstalling Palm Desktop, reboot the PC, make sure Palm Desktop 6.2.2 is installed (since you are using Vista) and then try reconnecting the Palm.
One last thing: Make sure that you are using a 32-bit version of Windows. There is no 64-bit USB driver support from Palm or ACCESS. If you do have a 64-bit version of Windows Vista installed, that would clearly explain why you are having so much trouble getting your m500-series PDA to sync. This thread tells you how to check for a 32 or 64-bit install of Windows.

Am getting Routine error R6034. I can not open iTunes. Windows Vista Home 64 bit

For the first time,am getting a routine error R6034. Do not let open my iTunes, and possible lost all my contents. Why is this happening, is it nothing secure on the Internet no more even our music? Please I appreaciate any good help. I tried to redownload am stil the same message. During reinstallation.."Service Apple mobile device failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges. Options ABORT,RETRY,OR IGNORE. That is what am getting.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

VBScript Error when trying to install iTunes 7.2 on Windows Vista PC

I downloaded iTunes v7.2 + Quicktime. When I try to install, I receive the following error:
"iTunes could not be installed because Visual Basic Script (VBScript) is not installed or has been disabled. Make sure VBScript is installed, turn-off script blocking in anti-virus and personal firewall software, re-register VBScript, and then install iTunes."
I installed my current version of iTunes v7.1.1.5 on my new Windows Vista PC just a month or so ago and never encountered this error. I have also tried to update Quicktime and get this same error. Why am I getting this error now? What do I need to do to 1) ensure VBScript is installed, 2) that script blocking is turned off since I don't see any settings in my Windows Live OneCare that allow me to do anything related to scripting, and finally 3) re-register VBScript?

Error: "Unable to find a working IR device" in Windows Vista 64-bit, Audigy 4

I have Audigy 4 Pro with the RM-500 remote that came with it.
The remote is not working in Vista 64-bit (Enterprise).
It is definitely not a hardware problem because everything works in Windows XP Professional SP3. When I dual boot into Vista, the remote doesn't control anything in Windows but the red light on the I/O external box is blinking so it's definitely receiving input.
When I run "Entertainment Center Settings", I get the error "Unable to find a working IR device" and all the options are greyed out.

_ I am having this exact same issue on vista business 32 bit. Everything else on the external box works perfectly fine, except the remote. The remote does work however with intelliremote, but I cannot justify paying the money for such simple functionality. Any fix on [email protected]
