Error 1082 when setting Strings[] property of a menu ring control via property node.

I've attached a VI in which I attempt to set the Strings[] property of a menu ring control via a property node. Can anybody figure out what I'm doing wrong here? I'm using LabView version 7.1.

Open up your Stations Parameters Control.ctl file and change it from a Strict Type Def. to just an ordinary Type Def. (the pull down menu is located next to the font selector).

This bug figures out also when creating a custom spark ComboBox, then trying to programatically update the userProposedSelectedIndex property. The proposed selected index is selected, but does not apply the same skin as when mouse is on rollover or item is selected due to up and down keys.
The issue seems like updating the status of the item renderer to rollover or selected to get the same skin applied.
Please could you attach DropDow nList.as that you edited ?

Error message when setting up Road Runner Email on my new Macbook Pro

I get the following error message when setting up my RR account.
Logging in to the neo.rr.com POP server “pop-server.neo.rr.com” failed. Make sure the user name and password you entered are correct, then click Continue. If the information isn’t correct, you cannot receive messages.
I go to the next steps and everything looks like it should.

You can check the Mail Setup Assistant for the server settings for common email providers. I recommend checking your email settings here first to verify they match what you have in the Mail application:

Getting error message when setting up CNAME & MX record. Help?

When setting up a CNAME and MX for a 2nd site with a different email on that site, I am getting error message, "URL aready in system". Bothe 1st site and 2nd site have different emails but are both on same server. How can I fix this?

LadySiren, hmm that's odd. Are we setting these trusted numbers up on My Verizon from the computer? Are we putting the full 10-digit mobile or landline numbers in the slots? How many numbers do you have saved in total for trusted numbers? Let me know if it is working out or if you have any other issues. I want to make sure we get this going for you ASAP.

Error Message when trying to "import larger size" menue Option

This is the error I get when I try to use the otion to Import Larger Size...
Also the animation displays correctly in the Prieview in browser function, and in Prieview, however it does not work on the published test server.
I only imagine these problems are linked......
Any help is appreciated, thanks in Advance
Also mobile mesponsive page attributes and background images do not display correctly (IOS tested only).
Is there a work around for any of these issues?

Based on our findings, the error appears when using an Edge animation whose stage size was increased while preserving the same poster image. To confirm this, try the following steps:
Go to Edge app and capture another poster image (without chaning the stage size)
From Edge republish the animation
Switch back to Muse and update the asset (if you publish from Edge in the same location, the Assets panel in Muse will display a little exclamation mark letting you know that the animation is out of date; use right-click -> Update Asset to update it).
This will hide the menu option "Import Larger Size" which was only supposed to work for images (we'll remove it for Edge animations in a future release since it makes no sense).
Regarding the other issue - preview (in Muse) not working - can you please send the Edge file you're using to [email protected] along with a link to this topic. If your file is > 20MB, please use a file sharing service like SendThisFile or Adobe SendNow.

What is the complete path that you are trying to re-direct clients to?
I just set this up in my lab and using http://www.ren-est.com I was able to get this to work and re-direct me.
I do know that if you try to re-direct to something like http://www.ren-est.com/freshstart.html, it will not work, if that is the case you may need to call in an open a feature request to have that ability added.

Error occurs when set up middleware to new ERP system

Hi,
We are chainging ERP system to upgrade ERP version.
So we must set up middleware newly on CRM system(CRM 5.0).
so, I made new RFC destination and site..and another middleware setting.
The other initial download is succeed. But when I download the DNL_CUST_PROD1 to get product
hierarchy, this error message occured..-> "Hierarchy R3PRODHIER may only be changed in the original system <system name> ".
And I found the note about this symptom.(Note 369684)
But at this note, I can not find the solution. (or I could not understand the solution.)
I think that I should do the solution No. 4.
As solution No 4, I checked transaction COMM_PRAPPLCAT. Sales application is set to R3PRODHIER. I deleted the sales application. and downloaded again. But this error occured again.
I think I shoul delete R3PRODHIER hierarchy at the transaction COMM_HIERARCHY. But I can not do that.
How should I do?
And I think that I do not understand the solution of Note 369684.
So..please tell me the solution easyly.

I found the solution. As the note 369684 turn off detective of error message.
At the first time, I didn't do that because that is for CRM4.0. But it is work on the CRM 5.0.

Trying to set up secure network when I get to step check HTTPS I get kicked out and get error message 192.168.1.1 is not set up to establish a connection on port HTTPS with this computer.

Try another browser. If it is not going to work, use another computer. By the way, what is the model number of your router?

Error message when setting up a printer

I just received my new airport extreme (way cool). I can access the internet on both my MacBook Pro and Intel based iMac. However, when I try to add my HP Deskjet 3940 on both machines I get an error message: "an error occurred while trying to add the selected printer. error: - 9672"
I can see the printer in the printer set-up utility and it says it is connecting through bonjour.
What am I missing and why can't I print?

I checked this list. I checked it twice. No HP 3940. However, my printer is listed in the printer list - "Once your printer is connected to the base station, check to see that the printer is listed in the printer list in the Print Center (Applications/Utilities/Print Center)." When I click add I get the dreaded error message.
What's up with that?

WebDAV Error message when setting Properties

Hi
I have set up Oracle Drive to allow content to be uploaded to the Portal pages. This appears to be working fine however, when I right-click on a file to set properties I only see an Advanced Properties and not Set Properties as shown in the documentation. Clicking on Advanced Properties produces the following error message
"Advanced Properties is not supported by this server"
Can anyone help me resolve this issue please ? Is the Advanced Properties the same as Set Properties as stated by Oracle's documentation ? Is this a version issue ?

Well after further analysis I have been able to set the properties for the item by clicking on 'Properties'. However I am also seeing an 'Advanced Properties' item which produces the described message when I click on it. Can anyone explain what functionality is provided by this?

Xre 00263 error message when setting up x1 box

We recently updated to the x1 and were very excited to finally get our box after having to have it shipped out 2 different times because the first tech didn't do it right.well we were much less excited when we hooked it up and said device wasn't added and when I call they can't add it bc the guy who order it ordered it under our new account number but somehow set it up to our old account number....well 3 x1 boxes later and we finally have one that is added .. We hook it up and it starts it's whole activation process.. it's gets to where it's adding on demand and then right after it adds apps and it's at it's final step it stops. Then goes to a reddish blackish screen and says product needs to be initialized and gives me error message xre 00263.. We call technical support and they don't know , activation doesn't know , we even went to the service center and stood in a 2 hour line to be told that they don't know ... now we have a tech set up to come out that we've been told we will have to pay for , which is crazy ! And the Tec can't get here until the end of next week ...which means another full week of no service...

Sure sounds like this is an account setup/rate code issue and you need to call the X1 help line...

My TC was working perfectly fine until 2 weeks ago...
I have 2 MacBook Pro 2009 & 2012, I used the TC has wireles external hard disk for Time Machine.
I installed Mountain Lion on my oldest MacBook Pro (the newest has already Mountain Lion installed) 2 weeks ago. The installation was not straight forward... I tried to perform a clean installation, but I had difficulties with some applications.. anyway after a few days, everything went fine and smooth, I had to reconnect my TC with but it works fine, I could perform a few back-up with Time Machine.
But ... since 5 days ago, my TC is not find any more when I enter Time Machine... I went to Utility Airport and the TC was not connected, just circeld with dashed line and I cannot enter the set up mode.. I tried several things that did not worked and finally performed a reinitialisation of my TC with restauration of factory setting. This helped a bit because I could finally see my TC in utility arport in the wifi connected devices. I tried to et up my TC and connect it to an existing network. It went fine when specifying on whch network I want to connect, chossing a name for the TC and its password.
But then... I got an error message: An unexpected error has occured. Retry. I never get the window asking for the password for the network.
I retried but, It did not help, now the airport is no more visible in the wifi connected devices in airport utility...
Any thoughts, ideas?

If you have a clean install of Mountain Lion it will remove the 5.6 utility.. but this is still better for setups than the new one. .. certainly for Gen4 TC or earlier.
The setup of the TC manually from v5 utility.
Make sure you use all short names.. for the TC itself and for wireless.. I recommend different name for 5ghz as well.
Use WPA2 Personal security and fix wireless channels.. check 11, 6, 1 in that order.
For 5ghz try around 40 and around 150.. doesn't matter which one.
Use ethernet if wireless fails..
You will hate me but older Mac with ML upgrade that went badly.. sorry get some help to clean install. the wireless in the Mac itself is then the issue.

The Same Network is only needed for the Text Forwarding part of the Messages app on both and the iMessages account's Text Forwarding.
I understand Blue Tooth is On but have your paired the two devices for Handoff and Continuity ?
I cannot do this bit on my Mid 2011 iMac so I am a bit lost as to the actual settings.

I have set up 4 email accounts on my ipad fine. Gmail, a work email and 2 pop emails with no problems but i cannot add my yahoo account. after i use the "ipad easy yahoo set up" i get the following message - The IMAP server "imap.apple.mail.yahoo.com" is not responding. Check you connection and that you are entering the correct information in the "incoming mail server field."
i am entering Nothing in the incoming mail server field. Apple must have the yahoo mail server pre programmed for easy set up.. all its asking me to enter is name, email addres and password. IN addition why would "apple" be in the imap server name? does this seem correct? i know there was a simliar question to this one a few days ago but there was no resoultion. Is this an Ipad programming programming problem? HELP?

If you are getting the password incorrect error, try changing the password to be alphanumeric only - no special characters. That worked for me.

What's this error message when setting Pagination?

Using FM10 ....
I clicked Format > Page Layout > Pagination (on a file in the bookfile, not with the file open) because I want to set pagination to "Next Available" and "Delete Empty Pages".
But when I click Set, FM pops up a warning:
The new column layout in xyz.fm seems to overlap with other objects on the Left and RIght master pages. Are you sure you want to do this?
What is it trying to tell me? Thanks.

FM is just being a bit anal about what it thinks an ideal page layouts should be (circa 1990). I get that one and sometimes it also badgers about column sizes and overlaps as well. If you're satisfied with your layout, then ignore it.
