Error 11111 iTunes Match

While downloading some musics from iTunes match, I get this error saying the content is not available. Is it a problem in my end?
Thank you.

Same problem here. Not all music, just various tracks. It seems strange for it to be a network problem since most other tracks still work.
The error reads:
There were problems downloading some purchased items.
For more information on the items that could not be downloaded, click below.
There was a problem downloading “(Song Title) / (Album Title) / (Artist Name)”. An unknown error occurred (11111).
Please check that the connection to the network is active and try again.

    Hello FredJay,
Thank you for contacting Apple Support Communities.
iTunes Match needs a network connection to work, either Wi-Fi, cellular or wired. See the following:
Make sure you have an active Internet connection
Be sure your computer or device has an active Internet connection by loading a webpage using Safari or another web browser.
On an iOS device with cellular support, if you are not on a Wi-Fi network, try enabling 3G cellular data1 for iTunes Match.
For iOS 6, tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Use Cellular Data > On
For iOS 5.1.1 or earlier, tap Settings > iTunes & App Store > Use Cellular Data > On
1Fees may be associated with downloading over cellular networks; contact your wireless carrier for details.

  • Error in iTunes Match - "This item cannot be downloaded"

Has anyone else had this issue? I've searched on here but can't see any mention of it.
I have recently uploaded several albums from my pc into iTunes Match and some of the songs were 'matched' and some 'uploaded'. However, when I try to download these songs to my iPhone, only the matched ones download. The uploaded ones give the following error...
    This item cannot be downloaded
The item you have requested is not available for download
The status for these songs in itunes on my pc says Uploaded (no errors) and they are all in Apple Lossless format. I am wondering if the Apple servers need to convert them to 256kps format before they are available for download? But these songs were uploaded a couple of days ago and still won't download. I uploaded some other Lossless songs last week and they were available for download on my iphone almost immediately.
    Any help most appreciated!
    Thanks.

Itunes does modify certain lossless formats - AIFF and WAV - in the background whenever a file in one of those formats is marked for upload.  It is that AAC that gets uploaded, so it's done local on your computer prior to being uploaded. I doubt this is the cause of your problem on the iphone though.
You seem to have the iPhone set properly for downloading from Match, or you wouldn't get the matched songs downloaded.  The easiest way to confirm that is to pick an album where you have a mix of matched and downloaded songs and go to the bottom of the track list on the iPhone and hit "download all"  Watch to see if all the download clouds change to circles and eventually fill in.  If you are still getting that error. I would start by powering down the iPhone, waiting a few minutes before starting it back up, then see if that clears the problem.
Barring that, I'd call Apple support.

  • Having trouble with 4010 error running iTunes match.

Can anybody explain what needs to be done to solve this problem.?  It has been working in the past.  Using an up to date Mac book pro. Lion.

This issue was resolved by time.  Monday morning the Match worked fine on my MacbookPro.  It appears that this was a server side problem.  Apple must have repaired something.
I also got an email from iTunes service recommending the following:
"I found that some customers are able to resolve this error 4010 through the following steps:
On your Mac, press and hold the Option key while selecting Turn Off iTunes Match from the Store menu.
Then, select Turn On iTunes Match from the Store menu and go ahead with enrolling in iTunes Match.
Holding the Option key should reset Match and resolve the issue."
I did not need to take this action this time.

  • Error 4002 itunes match

How do we ressolve the very frustrating error 4002 in itunes match?

Just hit the issue 1st hand!  Solution was simple:
    1.  Disconnect any iDevices attached to the computer;
    2.  Close iTunes and restart computer from cold;
    3.  Start iTunes, sign-out of iTunes Store, sign-in again and start iTunes Match;
    4.  Allow Match whatever time it needs to settle;
    5.  Connect the iDevice directly via USB.
All now working very well - no sign of 4002 or any strange iCloud status - phew!

  • Error 4001 iTunes match

    How can I fix it?
    Itunes Match doesnt work.
    Error 4001

Hello I know how to fix this error. I had this same problem and I researched it extensively. I found the solution. Follow the directions on this link exactly. It will work. It is happening because your itunes is storing the cache from the previous session *which didnt work and so now it is just giving you the same message over and over again. SO that is why you need to hit shift on a PC options on a mac while turning off itunes match. this will cause the cache to reset and it will restart the process and it will match your songs. I hope it works. Let me know what happens please.

All my music was uploaded or matched successfully. Today when I try to download to my ipad or iphone I get a download error. A notification pops up saying unable to download. you do not have permission to access file.
Yesterday this worked fin on my ipad from home. What is the deal?

    All sorted.

  • Getting a 4010 error from iTunes Match on Mac and not working on iPhone either.

Anyone else having this problem? It started about 30 minutes ago (8:45 PM Central Time, USA).

    Hi,
Create a new blank library. Sign into iTunes then match. This will show all music that is in the cloud - you can stream your music from this library.
When you need to update your library, open up original library with ext hd attached.

I have Just upgraded my mac from Itunes 11.0 to itunes 11.02, this issue occured within hours of the updated.
It seems to occur about every couple of hours for me, I can still access the apple store, but music match just dies with the message: "iTunes Match has encountered an error. Please choose Sign Out and then Sign In from the Store menu and try again."
As it takes a good ten minuites for itunes
If this is also occuring in Itunes 11, the previous Discussions are probably not relevant.
Itunes 11 has had significant changes applied, so it would be reasoble to assume this is not the same fault and Apple have some how broken Itunes again.
I might try to downgrade to itunes 11.0, as it looks like music match faults are not high on apples priorities, it looks like took them almost a year to fix this fault last time it occured.

  • ITunes Match - start over and over

Every time I upgrade iTunes I lost my iTunes Match. It says that there was an error in iTunes Match, log out and log back in. When I log back in, I am invited to start iTunes Match and it goes through the whole process again of gathering information, matching the songs, etc. etc. This is clearly wrong.

Hi Jim, thanks for the response. In answer to your questions,
    - I do not sign out of Match prior to closing iTunes
    - The Match process seems to be ongoing at intervals throughout the given day and while it's not in the "background" as I wish it was, I try not to pay attention to what it's doing. Therefore I would need to guess that there are many, many times I close iTunes when the "current" Match process is underway and not complete.
    - Yes, thanks for asking about the "Waiting" tracks. Yes, there are many and they remain as "Waiting" even after Match tells me its work here is through.
    - My internet connection varies, currently 7.59 down / 22.81 up.

  • ITunes Match is "stuck" in step 3

iTunes Match is stuck half-way through step 3; after matching more than three thousand songs, it began to upload an additional ~600. It uploaded 300  songs, but will not upload the remaining 300. I've started and stopped, turned iTunes off and on, and turned my Mac off and on. Don't know if there's a problem with the next song in the queue, but can't find how to get it working, or in lieu of that, to skip to next song.

How to Fix Step 2 and Step 3 Errors in iTunes: Music Media Formats, and Checking Firewall
This solution assumes that you do not have corruption in your iTunes library database. To fix that follow the steps in Apple Support KB ht1251 above.
Step 1, 2, or 3 Hangs: Problems with Media Formats.
If you have heterogenous media formats in your music files, some of them will FAIL iTunes match, causing it to hang. This is a software error in iTunes match, which should mark the files as "Not eligible" instead of remaining stuck in an endless loop. These errors never occur if all the songs in the music library are unprotected AAC 256 kbps music files encoded by iTunes 10.5.1.
There are two basic ways to upgrade your song media formats to iTunes 10.5.1 AAC encoding - encode all of them at once, or do them selectively. In either method, you must delete the original version from iTunes and your file system. If you previously loaded them to iCloud, get rid of them there also.
You will be able to see a hung file in OS/X under Activity Monitor -> iTunes -> Inspect Process -> Open Files and Ports. In Windows you will have to use standard Task Manager inspections.
In my iTunes library, I found that certain AAC (m4a) files which were encoded in before 2011 were stuck, and m4p Protected AAC files. I had already fixed the encoding of MP3s, so I was suprised that music previously encoded by iTunes was hanging up.
You may convert all files which were not encoded at 256 kbps AAC with a right-mouse click. Find them:
    1) individually in iTunes as you discover them in Open Files and Ports trace, or
    2) by creating a sort smart playlist that matches their pattern. For example, a playlist with bit-rate < 256k.
After converting them, you MUST delete the previous file(s) from your iTunes library. I suggest you move the actual file to trash, and delete the trash. Archive the files if you wish. If any of them were already matched to iTunes Match, you must delete them there also.
After getting rid of older media formats, re-run iTunes match. Step 2 should complete, and your Open Files and Ports window should no longer show any music file open in your iTunes library. If it does show, convert it and remove the old file from your library.
If you have converted your music library and Step 3 is still stuck, it is likely a Firewall problem. Check the last line in Open Files and Ports, and use the information in the last rows to check your firewall settings. The upload port is shown in this form, 192.168.1.1:53089->72.21.214.201:https. If you see this type of row, but nothing is being uploaded, a firewall or other issue is blocking that port.
In my case the block was created by my broadband modem settings. Check with the installation guide for your modem - typically they can be managed by a http:// address such as http://192.168.1.254. Change the firewall settings as needed.
