When installing an update to my wireless software, I repeatedly get the Error 1335 message saying the cabinet file Data1.cab is corrupt or cannot be used. Any solutions

Keep getting "Can't Locate Disk" error message when installing software

Hi!
I'm trying to install some software on my PowerBook G4 . . . every time I follow this routine:
1) I insert the installation disk of the software.
2) Classic 9 starts up - I then get the folder on the disk with then install icon.
3) I toggle through 3 or 4 screens, agreeing to licenses, etc. - then . . .
4) When I click on the "OK TO INSTALL" button an error message appears and stops my progress - it reads, "Can't locate disk" - duh! We've been working off this disk for 5 minutes - the disk shows up on the desktop - I can locate the disk - why can't my computer? Please help me if you are able - thanks!

Thanks Bob! My problem was that I was following advice from elsewhere on the internet that said I should burn a DVD in UDF format when in fact just burning it using disk utility in ISO made it work. Thank you so much!

Error Message when installing software

Hi all, I'd be mega greatful if someone can help me sort this. I'm trying to install the software on my comp (I have Vista) and I get the following error message: C:\program Files\ Research In Motion\Blackberry\Transaction Manager\PTBS. dll failed to register. HRESULT-2147352567.
Also it says on my Blackberrythat i am not connected to the Enterprise server, is this to do with not having the software?

arrgh I'm going mad trying to sort this out. I've tried downloading from the website but it either appears to download it and then I can't find it on the comp, or it unzips and then an error message comes up and it stop.

I am trying to install the software on my HP computer for my HP laserjet. I have tried manually and using the assistant.The software getsto 87% installed then gives a fatal error occurred preventing product use. Click cancel tp cancel install. none of the previous boards that I saw here helped. I've heard that on/around October 22nd there will be Windows 7 drivers.
My question is, for WHAT models?
Like I said, I own a Lenovo Y510, they don't even have Windows Vista 64 BIT drivers, let alone 7 Beta.

TS2363 Why do I get a runtime error R6034 message when installing iTunes 11.1.4.62 on my WIn XP (SP3) system?

iTunes prompted me to download and install the newest version of iTunes (11.1.4.62). I followed all on-screen prompts. iTunes installation gets to the very end, then I get a popup stating that I have a Runtime Error # R6034 "an application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. Please contact the application's support team for more information. Okay, I am doing that. FYI, I am runnning Windows XP (SP3). Oh, and BTW, now iTunes is COMPLELETY unusable, and I cannot synch any of my multiple iOS devices. Help please!

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.

Should you get the error iTunes.exe - Entry Point Not Found after the above reinstall then copy QTMovieWin.dll from:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
and paste into:
C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
The above paths would be for a 64-bit machine. Hopefully the same fix with the " (x86)" omitted would work on 32-bit systems with the same error.

I am trying to install Adobe XI Pro, but it will not install. The error message is 1714 - the older version of Adobe Acrobat XI Pro can't be removed. I tried uninstalling all other Adobe Programs but it will not uninstall, saying The patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it or contact the app. vendor to verify it is valid. What does this mean? How can I successfully uninstall the old version and install the new version?

I get an error message when trying to install Flash Player.
I use Windows 64 bit with Internet Explorer 64x.
I'm able to download, the installation starts but it stops before completing.
I get this error message (loosely transalated) :

How can I fix this ?

I solved my problem by installing the Flash Player from home.
The network security at work prevented me from completing installation.
