Error -8. Can iChat w/computer in house but not across the net
Hello and thanks in advance for any help.
I can initiate and carry on a Video Chat with another Mac in our house, but get communication error 8 almost every time I try to Video Chat to anyone across the Internet.
Here is my setup:
Time Warner (Road Runner). Most recent speed test was 6600kb down and 478kb upstream.
Toshiba PCX1000 Cable Modem (probably 8 years old)
Apple Airport Extreme (802.11n) router (1 month old)
Apple MacBook Pro (less than 1 month old)
I do not have the Firewall turned on on the Mac.
Have tried changing port to 443. Have changed all Quicktime and iChat settings to recommended changes in this forum.

And as if it couldn't get any stranger, I was able to connect perfectly to the Apple test account (appleu3test01) as was my sister from her end. However, we still can not get a good connection.

I have analyzed the two datasets for differences and found the following ones:
Dataset 2 has also negative values in its ColumnName column, dataset 1 does not. Filtering dataset 2 (by changing the view on the SQL server) so that the column contains only positive values does not help.
A displayed column contains text with square brackets in it in dataset 2. Changing the SQL view to replace them with an empty string (replace(column2, '[', '')) does not help.
I do not know what else to try. Can anybody help me? The two datasets are very large, but if anyone can give a recommendation how to export them in a reasonable size, I can make them available.

In both datasets, probability has a range from 0 to 1, both thresholds from -1 to 1. In dataset 1, value has a range from 0 to 1, in dataset 2, it's -1 to 1.

I have a problem syncing recently purchased audiobooks to my ipod. I can see it in iTunes library but not on the ipod. Not even the folder 'books' is visible on the ipod.

i have several ipod nanos. i can sync one, but since i connected the ipad 2 I am getting an error on two of them, it says cannot sync, error 13019. the loaded songs show on the computer (on the ipods), but not when the ipod is plugged off the usb. Any answers? please
You can sync your iPod with multiple computers, but what can be synced is very limited. See this article for more details.

I've twice tried to use iTunes match. It stalls in step 2. I've rebooted my iMac computer and it still stalls. Apple's taken the $25 but not delivered the service. Can I get some personal help? There are 12,733 songs, a few dozen of which are not going to be in the Apple music library because they are unique to my collection. Also, some titled "Track XX" and no artist. I assume these would either not upload or else just be uploaded. But, after an overnight of step 2, the iTunes match program was still on song number 7384 or 12733 (it was on that number for over 12 hours). Looking in the music library, activating the iCloud icon and status fields, there were hundreds of songs with the status "waiting."

Well it could still be a software problem if you installed a third party program after the OS X wipe and install, because by booting into Safe Mode it disables certain functions of OS X and hardware. Check for updates or problems for all your third party software, include everything, including menulets, System Preference panes, hacks and so forth.
If you restored any sort of software from backup like TimeMachine, it likely was corrupted data and now is returned.
If the college tech support found a lot of dust clogging the rear exhaust vents behind the fans, then likely the heat damage done to the machine has already occured and can't be reversed. Video cards are usually first to go, which Safe Mode does disable the video card somewhat.
Run through this list of fixes, it's systematic in nature, also has a Hardware Test to see what's going on

couldn't find the adequate forum. I run win 8.1 and the adobe acrobat dc app on my computer doesn't access the doc cloud. I can´t turn the mobile link on. I can access the cloud from my browser, but not from the desktop app. I can access from my mobile app.

EyeConnect says my Samsung 40D8000 'can access this computer' ... but how to I get the TV to access the Mac?
All I want to do is to have the new TV connect to iPhoto, and if possible, iTunes, on the Mac and although there are plenty of forums discussing problems (such as FF and RW not working) all I want to do is basically CONNECT!
The Samsung AllShare tool is not seeing the Mac, the Mac is 'seeing' the TV in the EyeConnect setting box (but not in Finder).

Quick answer if you let iTunes manage your music: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Start iTunes with the option (shift on Windows) key held down and guide it to the new location of the library. -

Besides some business sites using none UK IP address, some may consider business access to facebook and Lottery is not required. -

One last thing to add into the mix.
As you know your Router will have to probably need to be manually confiqured.
Your Router has an IP address of 192.168.1.1
The 1st port to the first machine should have an IP of 192.168.1.2
The 2nd port should have 192.168.1.3
Each corresponding port needs to have assending IP addresses.
Checking the paperwork that came with your Router will explain how to manually confiqure it.
Sometimes a complete System reset will also help.
Modem Router and Shutting off all the machines.
When powering back up start with your ISP's Modem and after it has aquired the signal and lights then you can power back your Router, and the same there wait for it to reacquire the signal and the lights each will take a minute each. Now you can restart your computers one at a time and try them. You might want to double check the cable on your troubled machine and also try switching the ports on the router and if none of this works it sounds like a bad Ethernet Card.
