Error at Copy Form Setting

Hi All,
I've got error message when make copy form setting to user.
" You can not continue copying from setting, user add-ons currently connected to SAP Business One Exist. Make sure that selected users and add-ons are logged off and try again"
Why this is happen? There is no one login but me and no add-on connected.
I've try to relogin several times, the result is the same.
can any one tell me why this error accure?

Restart your PC/server and try again. Before restarting check in Add-on administration that No addon should be in automatic .

I can't remember the note number, and I attach the note here.
Solution
The following queries enables you to set preferences for one user and copy those to another user who is supposed to have the same preferences.
Explanation for the queries variables:
dest - Company database name
sourcid - Represents the user ID from whom the preferences will be copied.
destid - Represents the user ID to whom the preferences will be copied.
How to get the user ID?
From SAP Business One query interface or from the SQL Query Analyzer, run the query as follows:
1. SELECT T0.U_NAME, USERID FROM OUSR T0 FOR BROWSE
2. From the query's results, identify both the sourcid and the destid.
3. In order to copy the preferences from sourcid to destid, run the query as follows:
a) Replace the text dest with the company database name.
b) Replace the text sourceid with the user ID from which the preferences will be copied.
c) Replace the text destid with the user ID to which the preferences will be copied.
d) Use dest, if exists (select 1 from sysobjects where name = 'temp_dev_sup')
e) Begin - drop table temp_dev_sup
f) End - select * into temp_dev_sup from cprf where usersign='sourcid'
Deleting a certain user:
Delete from cprf where usersign='destid'
Update userid in temporary table:
1. Update temp_dev_sup
2. Set usersign='destid'where usersign='sourcid'

Errors while copying form WIN XP SMB share

Hello,
I do have a really strange problem. I do have a XP box with a SMB share and I could use them from my iMac - means I see the mount, could create a file there and so on. I have some dir's at the XP share and there are files with long names (more than 8+3, two dots etc.). At both machines I used the same user and password, security seems not to be the problem.
I can't copy the files from my iMac using the Finder nor using mucommander. I always get something like "file not found". Although I see the files and have permissions to copy them. Of course I could copy the files from XP-XP and it's working for some files with 8.3 filenames from OSX-XP. So I thought the problem are the unusal filenames.
But the unusal filenames work if I copy form XP to OSX. So I think the problem is an OS X side because if I enable a SMB share at the iMAC and if I copy the same directories form XP to OSX, all is working fine. I also tried to increase the IPRSTACKSIZE - but this had no effect.
Has anybody an idea? I thought I could the XP box standing around just sharing some directories without working on it Now I have to logon and initate the copy process from XP to OSX if I need some files at my iMac.

I updated the systems yesterday and that did absolutely no good.
The only way that I can get a file copied over to the Win2k3 network share is to give that user 'Delete' privileges, and this is what I am trying to avoid. We don't want our users having the ability to delete files off of our server, only read and write.
"Delete Files and Folders" and "Delete" are the two security privileges that I must enable before a connected user on a Mac can copy files to the network share.

Error while copying form in SFP

On our development server, we just applied EHP4. When we do SFP and try to copy a form, a dialog box appears and asks for username and password. I tried with the login for ADS_AGENT and this gave the error "Internal error occurred in SAFP API"

If you want to set form setting for particular user than first gave him authorized for form setting, and than log on through particular user and than open the document (PO,SO.DO,A/R,A/P)and set the form.
if you want the copy form setting form of particular user than log through user and go -to Admin-setup-genaral-User and copy the form setting.

Error is system copy form 64 bit to 32bit

I am facing problem in system copy. we have the offlince backup of PRD(64 bit) and the test server is 32 bit.
1. oracle is up and when I try to start sap dispatched get stop in Trans log ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied.
The sid is same as PRD .

There source system is 64bit and target system is on 32bit.
In Sap system copy there is upgrade your database from 32-bit to 64-bit but not form 64bit to 32bit.
Do I have to add the same in the control. sol file.

1. If you want to upgrade your database from 32-bit to 64-bit, add the following lines at the bottom of
the CONTROL.SQL file:
shutdown immediate;
startup restrict
spool utlirp.log

Till no we have restore the database the oracle is up and running but when starting sap dispatches is getting stop.
It is possiable to do system copy form 64 bit to 32 bit . by any process like R3load.

Error in generating form with 6i

I have installed designer 6i rel 2 with form developer 6i on NT
4.0.
When in design editor, I want to generate the form with generate
module, the system generate "CDR-21600: A running Generator or
Utility has failed."
Also in action column writes: " It is possible that the internal
cache is now in an inconsistent state. You are therefore
recommended to close and restart the application."
Could anyone tell me what is the problem and how to solve it.

Here is an document which describes some known causes of CDR-
21600 errors. I hope it will help you.
PURPOSE
To describe some known causes of CDI-21600 errors and to
suggest possible solutions and workarounds.
SCOPE & APPLICATION
This note was written for users of Oracle Designer releases 2.1.x
and 6.0.
CDI-21600 errors occur most frequently during Design Capture and
when generating forms with the Forms and WebServer generators.
Investigating CDI-21600 errors
In Oracle Designer Release 2.1.2 and Release 6.0, this error has
the form:
CDI-21600 'A running generator or utility has failed'
The Release 2.1.1 error message was: 'Generator or Utility throw
an Exception'
The CDI-21600 error message means that the generator is hitting
an unhandled exception, also known as a GPF (general protection
fault). The CDI-21600 error masks the underlying exception error.
To see the real error do the following:
1. Go into the Registry Editor (REGEDIT).
2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\oracle\des2_70
3. Set EXCEPT_HANDLING to 0 (by default it is 1).
Repeat the action that resulted in the error.
Known Causes of CDI-21600 Errors and Possible Solutions
Some of the reasons why CDI-21600 errors occur are listed below.
1. A common cause of CDI-21600 errors is failure to install the
necessary
Developer patches.

2. Check that Designer is running on a supported database. Also
check that the
TNS connection is correct.

3. Check for 'dangling' foreign keys, in other words FKs no longer

Invalid constraints may be created if you use the repository
dump utility to

application system, without dumping and restoring the tables
that own them.
If you restore a complete dump (rather than a 'skeleton' one),
and then use
the 'Reconnect Share Links' option when restoring, you may be
able to
resolve this problem.
To get a complete list of 'dangling' constraints in your
repository, connect
using SQL*Plus and use the following query:
SELECT app.name, key.name
FROM ci_application_systems app, ci_constraints key
WHERE key.table_reference IS NULL
AND key.application_system_owned_by = app.id;
You can also run CKAZANAL.ANAL_REFERENCES on your
repository and delete all

4. Check your modules for invalid or missing references such as
missing window
placements.
5. Try generating your module against default templates and
object libraries.
6. When capturing forms or libraries, try capturing the form or
library without
application logic, then capture the application logic on its own.

which fixes more bugs in this area.
7. Make sure that all objects that are referenced by the form have
been
captured into the repository before capturing the form.
8. A CDI-21600 will occur if a lookup usage displays only one
column of
datatype DATE or if the column of datatype DATE is displayed
as the first
item in the block.
Workaround
Add more column usages to the lookup block and do not
display the DATE data
type column usage as the first item in the block.
9. [BUG:810472] CDI-21600 when 'Argument in Caller' is set
Fixed In Ver: 6.5.3.0
Workaround
Make sure that you have an argument in the called module that
is mapped to
the "Argument Passed Value" in the calling module. The only
way to get this
mapping back once the APV has the <Module Argument> label
is to delete it
and recreate it.
10. [BUG:801736] CDI-21600 on design capture of a form with
subclassed object
Fixed In Ver: 6.0.3.1.0 (backport)
Fixed In Ver: 6.5
You have an item that has been subclassed to an object.
Checking the Design
Capture option 'Capture Control Blocks' causes the CDI-21600
error. Uncheck
'Capture Control Blocks' and the problem does not occur. Open
the FMB in
Forms*Builder and look at Data Blocks -> Items. Break the link
to the
object, save the FMB, and the form will capture (similar to
[BUG:794872]).
Alternatively, ensure the link can be established.
11. [BUG:850436] CDI-21600 on generation of a form with template
having
subclassed object group
You try to generate a form out of Designer that uses a user-
defined
template. If a collection of objects in the template is grouped
into an
object group, dragged into the object library and then either
copied or
subclassed into a form, when the form is generated you get a
CDI-21600
error.
12. [BUG:822659] Module generation fails (CDI-21600) with multi-
column PK having
long prompt text
Fixed In Ver: 6.5.3.2
Module generation with multi-column primary key having long
prompt text
causes CDI-21600 with preference MSGSFT set.
Workaround
Shorten the prompt text of PKs may not be not applicable. You
may loose end
user information.
You may have the same problem with a mandatory compound
FK. CASEOFG tries to
generate a message '<P1> must be entered', where <P1>
contains all the
prompts of the bound items from the FK. If you reduce the
length of the
prompts, or set MSGSFT = NULL or WEDI = S or property
Mandatory?=No, it
works correctly.
13. [BUG:792542] Capturing application logic causes CDI-21600
(V2 style
triggers)
Fixed In Ver: 6.5.5
After removal of the v2 triggers, the form captures/merges OK
on 5.0.24.8,
provided patch 875027 has not been applied.
14. [BUG:790877] CDI-21600 if the primary/foreign keys have no
key components
Fixed In Ver: 6.5.11
Generating a module with tables having a primary key not
correctly defined
(no PK component) will cause a CDI-21600 error. This can
occur when
unloading a module from the RON. If you pick up the module
(and only the
module) in the unload set, the table and its PK are unloaded as
a skeleton.
Loading the .DAT file into a new application will create a PK
without a
component.
15. [BUG:771549] CDI-21600 if cannot connect to the DB with
connect string in
Options (Compile)
Fixed In Ver: 6.5.13
If you cannot connect to the DB with the connect string
specified in options
(Compile), the forms generator will fail with CDI-21600.
This problem occurs when you cannot connect to the DB
because:
- the username or password is wrong;
- or the SQL*Net alias is not defined in the TNSNAMES.ORA
file;
- or the SQL*Net listener is not started;
- or the DB is down.
16. [BUG:785106] CDI-21600 when generate master detail form
with preserve layout

Designer you generate the Module with Preserve Layout. You
get a CDI-21600
error. The problem might reproduce without doing any changes
in Forms
Builder, just by generating with Preserve Layout.

I haven't seen the ora-03116 problem.
What version of Portal are you running? Are the databases at the same version? Does your table have longs or anything strange in it?
Can you query the table via the synonyms and link in sqlplus as the application schema? This is a good test because it eliminates Portal.
You should try setting up synonyms etc for the emp table. If you still get the problem then Oracle may be able to replicate it. If not, then there's sth funny about your table maybe.
I agree with Vishnu about creating everything in sqlplus. I create all my links and synonyms in sqlplus. They are all public. I have 2 synonyms: one takes you over the link the other takes you to the right schema. It's flexible and it works.
data database: D grants to P (local schema) on table T
public syn T = D.T (sys) (get the right schema)
portal dbase : public db link to data database connecting as P
public syn T = T@dblink (sys) (over the link)
P is a schema created in both databases.
Test is: P in portal dbase can "select * from T" and gets the right data.
I never, ever refer to a schema when defining a form. ie. never P.T or D.T or whatever. I always refer simply to a synonym. For the above my form would be defined simply on the table T.

My client is using SAP ECC6 EHP4 and We recently updated the HR Service Pack to SAPK-60464INSAPHRCIN in order to apply the SAP Note 1829618 - PY-IN: Union Budget Changes for Year 2013.
After upgrading Service Pack we are getting the below error while generating Form-16.
Layout set HR_INF16_2012_B in language EN does not exist

For this we have to download respective Form from Golder client 000 and upload again in our working client.

ORA-04062 error when running forms with different users

ORA-04062 error when running forms with different users
I have a form that has a block that should display some data from another users tables. (The other user's name is dynamic, it's selected from a list box)
I wrote a stored procedure to get the data from other user's tables.
When I compile the form and run it with the same user I compiled, it works without any error. But when I run the compiled form with another user I get the ORA-04062 (signature of procedure has been changed) error.
I tried setting REMOTE_DEPENDENCIES_MODE to SIGNATURE in init.ora but it didn't help.
My Forms version is 6i with Patch 15.
Database version is 9.
Here is my stored procedure:

I think it should be a better solution to create a package,
and put your own TYPES and procedure into it.

F-27 customer statement For progremme the default form set is missing

Can anybody solve me the error while running customer statement F-27 iam getting the error is for "program default form set is missing".I have checked all the configuration settings in correspondence,But i am able to identify the error.We are using SAP standard program (RFKORD10) and form also (Z140-ACC_STAT_01).For company code we have assigned program and form also.

2. How to split the spool request for per customer .
A. This you have to design in your driver program and club your spools for particular customer.
3. Script converted PDF file how to place in application server.
A. You have to use destination for PDF as file name and then use Open dataset for output to keep it on application server.

Which is fine for rest of the users.

Reports 10g R2 error using parameter form

I am trying to run some reports that are being called from a form (using REPORT_OBJECT). If I set PARAMFORM=YES, I get a HTML parameter form that look correct. When I click the Submit button, I get a 'HTTP 500 server error'

Validation errors detected in form. when running a task

Hi All,
We are working on a large scale deployment that involves creating, modifying, deleting, etc. users utilizing ActiveSync processing in Sun IdM 7.1
But for some reason, everytime we run a user through ActiveSync processing, we are receiving the following error message:
com.waveset.exception.FormValidation: Validation errors detected in form.
My guess is that either the ActiveSync form is corrupted or maybe the default user form.
I have rolled back to prior versions of our custom ActiveSync form, but it has not solved the problem. I have checked the ActiveSync logs looking for a missing required field, but no errors show up there.
I cant seem to find the form that this validation error is occuring on. I have tracing set up on level 4, and it doesnt seem to point me in the right direction.
Any advise or experience with this error message would be greatly appreciated.
