Error backing up User Profiles in SP2010 Management Shell

Question

I ran showtree, confirmed the path to the User Profiles, and then ran Backup-SPFarm below, but I'm getting an error.
PS C:\Users\username> backup-spfarm -showtree
    Farm\
        Shared Services\
            Shared Services Applications\
                User Profiles\
                    [Service Application Endpoint Group]\
                    [User Profile Service Application_ProfileDB_123456789]\
                    [User Profile Service Application_SyncDB_567891234]\
                    [User Profile Service Application_SocialDB_987654321]\
                    [Timer Jobs Group]\
PS C:\Users\username> Backup-SPFarm -Directory

You left out the "s" on "Shared Services Applications".
