Error Code 1418?

I know I'm new here, but I don't care right now.
I need somebody to tell me what Error Code 1418 is.
I'm using a fifth-generation iPod Video, 30 gig.
After an impact, which involved my iPod falling off my desk, when I updated it, the update failed, and the computer couldn't identify it.
If I know what Error Code 1418 means, then I can tell whether if I should scrap my iPod or get it repaired.

Ipod Video Not restoring - Error code 1418

I've had my ipod over a year now and havent used it for a few months. Now tried connecting it to my new laptop and it doesnt recognise the ipod as an ipod video so i tried to restore it to standard but its been coming up with "unknown error code 1418"

Unknown Error Code 1418

I just got my 80GB iPOD Classic yesterday. I downloaded the latest version of iTunes, transfered about 1.43GB of songs to realize that:
1. My iPOD has frozen, I can't even switch it off
2. I can only re-set it and it goes back to the iPOD menu screen.
3. Some times it re-starts on its own a couple of times before getting to this screen.
4. I tried to re-store default factory settings through iTunes, it did download and istall the lastest version of iPOS software (version 1.0) but it always gives me an error code of 1418 while trying to restore ("unexpected error occured while trying to restore, error code 1418)
PLEASE HELP, I AM DYING TO ENJOY MY IPOD.

put your ipod in disc mode and you'll probably be able to restore it (restart, then hold the centre and play buttons until it goes into disc mode)
connect it and restore it with itunes, then restart again to get out of disc mode

Ipod Shuffle Help...Error Code 1418

I installed my Ipod Shuffle on my girlfriend's computer under the Windows ME O/S...her dad just loaded Vista on the computer and now my Ipod has gone insane. All my songs are gone from it and when I try to restore the Ipod I get an Error 1418, unable to restore. Can anyone help me with this?

BIG whammy of a problem, code 1418 and folder icon with exclamation mark!!

I think my ipod's gone to ****. A while ago while walking home listening to my ipod, it just stopped. Looked at it and saw the folder+ !. I searched the net and saw that it probably just needed to be restored. So i tried to restore it, it froze. Updated to newest iTunes, but it wouldn't work on my comp. Anyways, I've formatted my comp, so i'm starting new here. My iPod still has that icon, so i connected it to my comp, and got it to start restoring, only part way through it to get the 1418 error code. It's an old 20gig 3rd gen, but it always worked fine. And actually now as I'm typing this, I can't get the bugger to connect to my comp anymore. It just keeps showing the folder icon. I have no idea what to do with this anymore. I've read tons of post in regards to 1418 but they're all in relation to nanos, video ipods, and shuffles. Any help would be amazingly appreciated because I can't afford a new iPod. Thanks!

3. Which iPod do you have?
4. What version of Windows do you have?
5. What Windows service pack do you have installed?

I can't download any epub books to my kindle fire. I keep getting an error message:

I tried deleting and reinstalling the program but am still getting the error message.

Won't restore - error code 1602

I (stupidly) updated my phone to ios4, nothing but issues now. the phone won't stay on, unless its plugged in. i tried to restore it, but keep getting error code 1602. so now i just have a phone that needs to be plugged in to stay on. not very useful

I am trying to burn a cd from itunes and whenever it starts to burn it keeps cancelling it and I keep getting Error code 4310. How do I fix it so I can burn from Itunes again. It is really agrivating to me.
