Hi, I installed brand new IDM6 with sp2 and created new RACF resource. when I change the List User AtrParse I got this error. Deos anyone know what it means? I can not find any log for this error?

I too encountered this problem. Just look into the update.xml in your sample folder. There is a form missing . Import the update.xml and this should solve your problem.

Permanently change default error configuration in Analysis Services 2005

Hi,
Currently, I am working on a BPC 5.1 application. The data for this application is loaded(inserted via SQL statement) right to the FACT table and then a full process is run for that cube via an SSIS package using the Analysis Services Processing Task. Often records are loaded this way where a dimension member for some of the records has not been added to the Account dimension yet. These records after loading are considered 'orphan records' until the accounts are added to the account dimension.
This loading process is used because of the volume of records loaded(over 2 million at a time) and the timing of the company's business process. They will receive data sometimes weeks before the account dimension is updated in BPC with the new dimension members.
If I try and process the application from the BPC Administration area with these orphan records in the FACT table, the processing stops and an error displays. Then when I process the cube from Analysis services, an error is displayed telling me that orphan data was found.
A temporary work-around is to go into the cube properties in Analysis Services 2005, click on Error Configuration, uncheck 'Use default error configuration' and select 'Ignore errors'. Then you can process the application from BPC's Administration page successfully. But, the problem is that after processing the application successfully, the Analysis Services Error Configuration automatically switches back from 'Ignore errors' to 'Use default error configuration'.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to permanently keep the 'Ignore errors' configuration selected so it does not automatically switch back to 'Use default error configuration'? Prior to BPC 5.0 this was not occurring.
Also, does anyone know why this was changed in BPC 5.0/5.1?

I understood the problem but I can say that it was a bad migration of appset from 4.2 to 5.0.
Any way they are using a dts package to import data into our fact table. That's means they have to add another step into that package where they have to do the verfications of records before to insert into fact table. Verfications can be done using the same mechanism from our standard import. Just edit that package and add similar steps into customer package.
Attention you need somebody with experience developing DTS packages with for BPC to avoid other problems.
One of big benefits from 5.X compare with 4.2 was the fact that we are able to use optimization schema and aggregations for cubes.
Heaving that orphan records it is not possible to use optimization schema for cubes and you are not able to create good aggregation into your cube.
So my idea is to provide all these information to customer and to try to modify that package instead to enable that option which can cause many other issues.

Error while creating DBConsole -- Error configuring central management

Dear All,
MY DB Oracle 11gR1 on Linux is running fine, however there is a problem in Oracle Enterprise Manager Console.
I dropped and re-create dbconsole using:
emca -config all db -repos create

What does 'Appliance Error (configuration error) Your request could not be processed because of a configuration error: account is disabled' mean?

All of a sudden Safari on my MacBook Air won't let me do anything. I have a Mac OS X Version 10.7.5.
As soon as I open Safari, a message comes up straight away saying 'Appliance Error (configuration error) Your request could not be processed because of a configuration error: account is disabled'.
I also can't check for system updates because of a 'network error' and can't connect to the App Store.
My internet is working fine and safari is working fine on both my iPhone and iPad.
I've never seen this message before and I'm not having much luck in searching for an answer.
This may be a silly question, I don't know, but does anyone have a solution?

From the menu bar, select
 ▹ System Preferences... ▹ Network
If the preference pane is locked, click the lock icon in the lower left corner and enter your password to unlock it. Then click the Advanced button and select the Proxies tab. If any proxy options are selected, make a note of them and then deselect them. You don’t need to change the bypass or FTP settings. Click OK and then Apply. Test. The result may be that you can't connect to any web server. Restore the previous settings if that happens.

This will arise when the graphics system is not initialised in ur application.
For this u have to give igsURL property.
Tht is server address where igs is installed..

Need help with error configuring Identity Management in OAS 10g

Hi,
I am configuring SSO in OAS 10g, After successful installation (with sso option selected) when I go to the management interface and attempt to configure Identity Management it fails with the following error:

I am totally stumped, cant find any instance of this error in docs etc. PLEASE HELP.
I am trying to setup OAS to SSO with MS AS for oracle ebusiness suite 11i.

Check that your insfrastructure database is up and running, it's accesible, as well, check for OID procs and demons that ports for OID are open and that you can make ldapbind this last may not be necesary as the error say about database, but is good to check also. Go to *$ORACLE_HOME/opmn/logs* and check the files there to see if other process are having problems.

Testing the Kanaka Client for Mac we have an error configuring the Kanaka Server via Setup Wizard in Step 2 of 4:
After selecting the context where the Kanaka Proxy Object and the Administrator Group should be created and clicking on the next button the Wizard displays an error message >Unknown Directory services error has occurred< and stops. We are not able to complete the Wizard and do not find any message in the log(s) and eDirectory traces which let us know what is going wrong.
Any help would be appreciated.

Does the container you're adding the Kanaka Proxy object to have a
Universal Password policy assigned?

1 - uninstalled Directory Server
/var/sadm/prod/SUNWds-entsys4/uninstall
2 - removed all the packages used in a manual instalation

Hi all. I am fairly new to android programming. I am trying to use the CreativeSDK, specifically the image editing portion. I have been trying to follow the steps at the following link: Adobe Creative SDK
I first edit my settings.gradle file and then sync... This works with no error.
I then go on to edit my build.gradle (making sure i edit the modular file). After editing it, I get prompted with "sync project," to which I accept. I then get the following error:
"error:configuration with name 'default' not found."
May someone please guide me or tell me what I should do or what I should read.

I was trying to run the HelloWorld example as given at the URL -

All the commands...
ant compile-server
ant setup-web-inf
ant package
ant process-war
ant deploy
...are successfully completed. To verify that the service has been
successfully deployed, I opened a browser window and specified the
service endpoint's URL:
http://localhost:8080/hello-jaxrpc/hello
At this URL ...we find the error
HTTP Status 404 - /hello-jaxrpc/hello
type Status report
message /hello-jaxrpc/hello
description The requested resource (/hello-jaxrpc/hello) is not
available.
Then I opened the TomCat Manager
http://localhost:8080/manager/html/list and noticed that the
/hello-jaxrpc application status is stopped. I try to start it, but it
gives a "Message: FAIL - Application at context path /hello-jaxrpc
could not ..."
Can anyone help me what might be wrong !

After recent installation of our qa box and starting configuration of adapters, etc we are getting error
ERROR:Configuration:metaViewFromResourceChanges
When we visit the Configure | Identity Attrributes tab. A message indicates resources have changed and we should 'merge' using the supplied link
Resources Have Changed
One or more resources have been modified since the Identity Attributes were last saved. If these changes affect the Identity Attributes, then they should be assimilated through the Configure Identity Attributes from Resource Changes page.

Clicking the link give the error above. QA box has a number of identity attributes listed
We also get the error on out production box. Production box does not have any identity attributes listed. Prod boxes have been up and running a few months.
Dev boxes do not exhibit this. Prod & QA running idm6.0 sp1
Any idea what causes this?

We didn' really identity the problem but issue is resolved by resetting the LDAP password. Look into the LDAP log and see if you can find anything.

Error: Configuration settings unavailable because /farm../../ is down..

Hello,
When navigate to Enterprise Fusion Middleware -> OIF control and select any admin menu, we see following error:
"Configuration settings are unavailable because /Farm_IDMDomain/IDMDomain/wls_oif1/OIF(11.1.1.2.0) is down"
After bounced every components, all the components under identity and access are neither showing red nor green. It just shows a clock icon next to oid1/oif1
Both OIF and the weblogic server named are up.
Anyone experience this before? Seeking any feedback/suggestion.
