  • Receiving the internal 500 error while testing java web service

    HI,
    Problem Summary:
    Receiving the internal 500 error while testing java web service in integrated weblogic server.
    my scenario is like,
    retrieve the Payload from Dehydration tables.
    We are connected to SOA_INFRA schema and we are retrieving the payload from the dehyadration tables based on InstanceId and ECID using Java Classes.After that i make it as a web service and i deployed in to intergrated weblogic Server.It is generating the Target End Point URI.When am i hitting this it is showing structure of the service.I am testing this service from soapUi it is returning the Server internal error with 500.Here i am passing inputs as InstanceId and ECID.
    I had verified in my Jdeveloper,Proxy settings are available.
    Error Payload:
    I am receiving the Internal 500 error because of JDeveloper HTTP Analyzer encountered an error retrieving: CONNECT https://192.168.0.41:9102 HTTP/1.0.

  • Can we deploy a java web service on OC4J within EBS 12.1.3

    Hi,
    I needed some instructions if this is possible to deploy a java web service on OC4J in EBS 12.1.3.
    We don't have SOA gateway integration. The web service is simple SOAP web service.
    Is there any document that can be referred for this ?
    Thanks

    I would try a number of things:
    1) Try generating the web service artifacts by using the web service assembler tool that comes with oc4j 10.1.3 dp3. You can use either the command line or ant assembly tasks that are available with the download. There are some fairly detailed examples of using the ant tasks for web service generation at http://www.oracle.com/technology/tech/java/oc4j/1013/howtos/index.html (under the "web services" heading).
    2) Try deploying the generated ear file using the admin console. I believe that should work.
    3) If for some reason that doesn't work you can try to use the deployment ant tasks (also detailed in the how to examples).
    I believe the reason you did not deploy successfully is that even though the core service implementation class, SEI, and JAX-RPC descriptor are portable the artifacts generated in order to deploy the service to a particular application server are unique. JWSDP is tailored to the sun platform.
    Hope that helps.

  • Error when calling Java Web Services from ABAP.

    Hello experts:
        In my project, I will call Java Web Services with ABAP coding. With WSDL, I generated a proxy class and created a HTTP connection (t-code: SM59) and a logical port (t-code:lpconfig) for this proxy class. But when running, I would receive the folllowing errors:
       SOAP:1.023 SRT: Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ("ICF Error when receiving the response: HTTP COMMUNICATION FAILURE")
       If I used HTTPS, there is no problem.
    Regards
    Bob

    Hi Bob,
    It might be the possibility that your java web server is configured to listen only on HTTPS.
    If your HTTPS is working fine, then first check with your JAVA server for HTTP connectivity, then try it calling through ABAP.

  • Frustating errors while creating java web-service

    Hey All
    Me getting a frustating problem while making the webservice using Eclipse, jdk1.6.0_03,and Tomcat-5.0.
    The overall scenario is like this.There is a class “WsEpp” of which I have to make webservice.”WsEpp” class is using the object of another class “EppService”, and if certain conditions will be fullfill then “EppService” class will use the object of another class “PrintClass”,which is allready using the object of class “PrintLib”.
    “PrintLib” class is a long file and its using many classes which are in supported jar files.
    Here is the some part of “PrintLib” where I am facing the problem,
    Scenario-1
    public epp_Command command_data = new epp_Command();
    public PrintLib()
    System.out.println("CONSTRUCTOR 1");
    this.command_data = new epp_Command();
    System.out.println("CONSTRUCTOR 2");
    Here I am using the constructor of the “PrintLib” and “epp_Command” is included into jar files.When “WsEpp” is running as web service then
    <faultcode>soapenv:Server.userException</faultcode>
    <faultstring>java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException</faultstring>
    occurs as the response of webservice.
    Scenario-2
    //public epp_Command command_data = new epp_Command();
    public PrintLib()
    System.out.println("CONSTRUCTOR 1");
    // this.command_data = new epp_Command();
    System.out.println("CONSTRUCTOR 2");
    When I am commenting the lines as shown in scenarion-2,then the service is running well and printing CONSTRUCTOR 1 and CONSTRUCTOR 2 as given in println command.
    And response of webservice gives the desired result.
    Scenario-3
    public epp_Command command_data = null;
    public PrintLib()
    System.out.println("CONSTRUCTOR 1");
    this.command_data = new epp_Command();
    System.out.println("CONSTRUCTOR 2");
    By using scenarion-3 the service is running and printing only CONSTRUCTOR 1 as given in println command.And also
    <faultcode>soapenv:Server.userException</faultcode>
    <faultstring>java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException</faultstring>
    occurs as the response of webservice.
    I am suffering with this problem from last 2 weeks.Kindally help me and provide me the some suggestions and tips.In case of any more requirement I can provid ethe whole codes.

    Hi,
    Can anybody tell me please, is it possible to create
    a Web Service from java class where the input from
    user is required ?Yes, the parameters of your method will be mapped in WSDL.
    But i've some considerations about your code.
    I suggest you change the name of isPrime do Prime, its a good code convention to put the name of class starting with Upper case. and isn't good the name of class equals to name of method.
    I suggest you to change the "static boolean isPrime (int n)" to "public boolean isPrime(int n)" to publish a method as a WebService method it's must be public and not static. After this change try to generate your Web Service.
    Regards.

  • Generation Error - when trying to publish a Java web service

    Hi All,
    I keep getting the following Generation Error -- java.util.NoSuchElementException_ when I'm trying to create a Java Web Service using the jdeveloper wizard.
    I have 2 entities and 2 stateless session beans acting as their facades. One entity has a One-One(FK) relationship with the other entity. I test out the entities and session beans using the test client and the OC4J embedded container and everything seems to work. When I try to generate a Java WebService from one of the entities I keep getting the "Generation Error". Could someone please provide me with some insight into why I'm facing this problem, because it seemed fine when I published J2EE web services previously and now this happens and I cant seem to publish web services anymore. Everytime I keep getting the same GenerationError. Thanks in advance.

    Without going into any technical discussion about the code, my first question is what JDK version was used to create this which was imported into the form? Understand that Forms 10 runs on JDK 1.4.2, so if you used any newer JDK version, likely there will be problems.

  • Java Web Service Deployed on App server does not run

    hi,
    I created a java web service and deployed it on my Application server. When i open the enterprise manager i find my webservice there. I click on test web service and it gives me two options one with a 4443 port and other with a 7777 port. It picks up a 0.0.0.0 hostname though i deplyoed it on to a different machine.
    I choose to use the 7777 port and test the web service whrn i click invoke it give me the error
    Internal Server Error
    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
    Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
    and when using the 4443 port it gives me the error as
    "SSL Error: unable to find valid certification path to requested target"
    please suggest how i can test a simple java webservice.
    Thanks

    I think the problem is to add the custom dll files while deploying the application. Could any one please suggest how i can add custom dll file for deployment?
    Thanks

  • Serialization error while invoking a Java web service

    Hi,
    I've a requirement where I need to create a Java web service, which returns a collection (a set of records).
    The way I've created a web service is by having a Java Class, which internally calls a Pl/sql package returning Ref cursors and a bean Class, which wraps the method of the Java Class, to return the collection. I could create the web service successfully and could invoke the end point. The end point looks like this: http://localhost:8988/MyJavaWebService-New_JWS-context-root/MyWebService_finalSoapHttpPort
    The method exposed for the web service in my Java class is of type ArrayList, to fetch the collection element.
    After giving the input at the end point, while I say invoke, for the web service, I get the following error:
    <env:Envelope
    xmlns:env="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
    xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
    xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xmlns:ns0="http://mypkg/types/"
    xmlns:ns1="http://www.oracle.com/webservices/internal/literal">
    <env:Body>
    <env:Fault>
    <faultcode>env:Server</faultcode>
    <faultstring>Internal Server Error (serialization error: no serializer is registered for (class mypkg.EmpBean, null))</faultstring>
    </env:Fault>
    </env:Body>
    </env:Envelope>
    I've tried making my exposed method of type Vector as well and re-generated the web service. But still I face the same issue at invocation.
    Can anybody help me out and hint me on how I should proceed? I'm not sure if my approach is correct and so please correct me if I'm wrong.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Gayathri

  • How to deploy and debug java web service in eclipes or using any other soft

    Hai,
    can any one tell me how to deploy and debug java web service in eclipes or using any other software.
    i have used tomcat web server and jdk1.4.0 to develop web service.
    we have used web service to interact with MS outlook .
    bye
    sudhakar.m

    Hi Sudhakar,
    If you are used to working with ant then you can very well use eclipse to deploy your web service.
    You would usually have the ant script in the source root working directory. From eclipse if you select the build file from the navigator view and right click you will see a run ant option in the pop up menu.
    Select that option and you would be able to see each targets with a checkbox select option. So define each target maybe one for wsdl2java conversion, one for compilation and one for deploying your web services. You can either make all of them run by having depends option on or you can run them individually as it takes your fancy.
    I am not sure about debugging a web service yet.
    Hope this helps

  • Problem with CORBA application deployed using Java Web Start 1_6_0.

    Java Web Start fans and experts:
    We have been using Java Web Start to deploy the client side of a CORBA-based application since the inception of Java Web Start ... including Java Web Start 1.0 right up through the present.
    With Java Web Start 1_6_0, we see evidence that Web Start is "tinkering with" the IOR that CORBA uses to communicate. In all previous versions of Java Web Start, independent of the JRE which the application uses, the stringified IOR have been the same size regardless of whether the application is deployed locally or via Java Web Start. With Java Web Start 1_6_0, the stringified IOR is much longer than the "real" IOR (again, regardless of the JRE used by the application itself). To me this smells like a bug in Java Web Start 1_6_0. Has anyone else observed this behavior?
    Here are some specifics .... I've run the same client application with various JREs both with and without Java Web Start as the deployment mechanism. The application was compiled and runs against servers that are running JDK 1_5_0_09.
    Here is the summary of my results from a Linux box running various JREs, various versions of Java Web Start, and also running as a non-JWS deployed application. I've listed the length of the stringified IOR in each case.
    JRE 1.5.0 non-JWS client: stringified IOR length = 344
    JRE 1.6.0 non-JWS client: stringified IOR length = 344 ... this, I think, excludes the JRE as the cause of these problems.
    Java WS 1.5.0, JRE 1.5.0 JWS client: stringified IOR length = 344
    Java WS 1.5.0, JRE 1.6.0 JWS client: stringified IOR length = 344
    Java WS 1.6.0, JRE 1.6.0 JWS client: stringified IOR length = 1568
    Java WS 1.6.0, JRE 1.5.0 JWS cleint: stringified IOR length = 1568
    In all cases, the stringified IOR length is determined by the service receiving the message and is always running JRE 1_5_9_09 and is
    always the same 344 characters in length UNLESS it was deployed
    using Java Web Start 1_6_0, in which case it in nearly 5 times as big!
    To me, it sure looks as if there is a problem with Java Web Start 1_6_0 to be adding so much to the stringified IOR. Note: it's hard to tell how different the underlying IOR is in the JWS 1_6_0 case because, unlike most other ORBs, the Sun ORB doesn't have a tool to extract the IOR into a human readable structure. However, I can think of no good reason why the identical application deployed using Java Web Start 1_6_0 should have a stringified IOR length that is different than that of the same application deployed in non-JWS form or should differ from the behavior seen in all previous releases of Java Web Start.
    Any clues or suggestions? Has anyone else observed this behavior?
    Thanks,
    John

  • Errors when compiling the web service (SAP Web Service Design Tool)

    After downloading and installing the SAP de Web Service Design Tool (for Crystal Reports Server) I created a connection, a simple query and was able to deploy a web services. I tested the web service with an Xcelsius dashboard within InfoView. Thereafter I created a second connection (other name but same ODBC connection / server) and created another simple query with two date(range) parameters and a group by year and month function in order to do a select count(). It executes fine, but when I try to publish the web service I get an error.
    There are errors when compiling the web service.
    Is does not say whatu2019s wrong or how I can solve this problem.
    Who can help me?
    Some notes:
    1) Within expert mode I used a MONTH() SQL function which does not show in the normal mode.
    2) It seams that the u2018administrationu2019 of Web Service Design Tool got u2018corruptedu2019 after only creating the two connections, queries and services mentioned above. I believe so because I could select one of two queries when I created the second service, but within the current connection I had only one query.
    Thanks for any help,
    Ron
    ADDITIONAL INFO: The parameters seam to be the problem. After removing the parameters I can publish the service. But without parameters it is NO SOLOTION.

    Hello Taylan,
    I think the error that you received was due to packaging issues.I placed the
    UtilClass.java file under a directory called data which was present under
    the project directory.
    When you want to access a java class, you can either place the compiled
    class file in the WEB-INF/classes folder or you can place the java file
    under the project directory.
    I have attached the sample project that I created with your files.
    Let me know if you have any other questions.

  • Java Web Services wrapper and connection management.

    We are currently evaluating the use of the SES Java web-services for a custom front end. I've downloaded the sample code and have read through the documentation but I'm confused on a few points.
    We will be OSSO protecting the app, so the flow I think I need to use is (on the OracleSearchService object):
    *setSoapURL
    *proxyLogin
    *setSearchUser
    *doOracleSearch
    (do whatever with results)
    From what I can tell each one of these does a separate call into the actual web service. Does this keep a connection open between these calls and if so how do we need to manage our connections in this case. Is there an explicit close method we should be calling? I see that we can get an OracleSoapHTTPConnection from the undocumented getConnection method on OracleSearchService but I'm unsure if we are supposed to interact with it directly.
    In a related vein how should we managing our OracleSearchService objects? Should we save an instance for each user in our httpSession, or just create a new instance on each call?
    Any insights appreciated,
    Jason

    No Problem at all
    Nomally the Web Service is big different between Web application. or you can build your Web service structure like web application structure. It depends on the web server:
    If the Web Server of hosting company has WEB Service framework, you just need know how to deploy your Web service to Web Service framework and How to deploy to Web Server. In this case, you need deploy it two time, one is for Web Server framework and one is for Web Service framework
    If the Web Server of hosting company doesn't has WEB Service framework, you need build your own Web Service framework into a web application, then you just need know how to deploy your web application with Web service into Web Server framework

    Even then I face the same issue. I have looked into the EM console and found the HTTP username and password properties were blank for this Web service even though the WS policy was attached.
    Later I have tried editing the username pwd from the EM console, only to find out that the composite was now failing in the previous step (an ordinary db adapter with a select statement) even before it reaches the web service invocation.
    If I redeploy the composite, the http username and pwd properties in the EM console are erased and when i test it, it errors out at the web service invocation with the same issue again.
    Any pointers on how to solve this issue ??
    How can I figure out what is the security policy the web service is using ??
