I am facing problem in smgw (GWY_READ_CONNECTIONS) communication error. it comes in 15 days again and again.
by this error i am running st03n then it is not showing today's data because this error is coming from today morning please give me soloution asap.
one this how i check the value of this parameter gw/max_overflow_size in our system not profile value it is 100000000 set in rz10. but i want to know current value of system so i can check it is overflowing or not.
what precaution i take in future so i vaoid this problem.

The gateway allocates local process memory, i.e. only more swap space is required then Per client that sends data quickly approximately . 200 KB
You can check with OS level path Default.pfl under the directory Drive :\usr\sap\J03\SYS\profile

Hi,
I've got a new install of PI (XI 7.0) SPS 10 and am getting an error whenever I try to access the SLD from RWB or Integration Builder. The SLD is running on the same server as XI.
I've been through the various config guides (strangely there doesnt seem to be one specifically for PI/XI 7.0), to configure RFC destinations, checked users are not locked etc.
I'm thinking it's probably a VA / Authorisations issue, but could use some ideas!
Here's a few errors just for reference (and future people searching!)

Error during communication with System Landscape Directory: HTTP response c

Dear all,
I have redirected a SLD to our Q system. Everything in the Repository is working fine. What did I do:
- Adjusted settings in SLDAPICUST
- Adjusted SAPSLDAPI
- Adjusted LCRSAPRFC
- Adjusted the following values in the Exchange Profile:
com.sap.aii.connect.cr.httpport
com.sap.aii.connect.cr.name
com.sap.aii.connect.landscape.httpport
com.sap.aii.connect.landscape.name
So, SLDCHECK works fine.
The Repository sees the right SLD.
However, in the Directory I cannot choose an Adapter Engine (leaves blank) in my comm. channel.
Then I went to the RWB and got the following message:
Error during communication with System Landscape Directory: HTTP response code: 403 Forbidden
Where can I change something to make this work? Is this a user verification problem?

Short dump is displayed, when I try to insert CRM product (type: material) in the document (opportunity). This CRM product was created in CRM directly.
When I try to insert ECC migrated material, everything works fine.
Here is the details of dump:

Communication channel: error during update

Hi,gurus:
We are doring a soap2rfc scenario.
After reactivating relavant object in ID,I found that the status of sender communication channel was "error during update" in RWB.Have you ever dealed with the problem?Any help will be appreciated!

ask your basis guys to see the startup log of XI server...see if there is any error in it.. if there is any error in it, then restart your XI server.......go to SMICM....see if the ICM monitor is running fine.......If ICM is not running fine, then go to Administration->j2ee server->restart->yes and restart your j2ee engine of your XI server......
VisualAdmin-Server-services- Tracelogs. Also can restart your adapter engine and can you exact error you can getin RWB.

While creation of SC, I am getting error "Error during VM container communication between ABAP and JAVA"
Based on earlier responses in this forum, I checked following activity.
1. T Code - BBP_CND_CHECK_CUST
Result - IPC Pricing is Active and IPC is now running in VMC
2. Run Report - RSVMCRT_HEALTH_CHECK
Result - The Java component is deactivated
3. As per OSS note 854170, Profile parameters were existed as below
a) vmcj/enable - on
b) vmcj/option/maxJavaHeap = 200M
So, How to get Java component activated?

I am doing a IDOC to File (File Content Conversion) Scenario in which I have mentioned the field separator and end separator.. When i trigger the IDOC, i am only getting the first field value in the output. I am getting the following error

Communication channels error during update

Hello,
All the Communication channels of the XI QA system are showing a status "Error during Update" Checked status of components in Runtime Workbench --> Component Monitoring. Red Alert on Adapter Engine The details of the Communication channel error below is:

retrieve channel runtime status: EventException:
com.sap.engine.frame.cluster.message.PartialResponseException: One or
more of the destinations did not return a response. Response status:

Has anyone encountered this before? Do you have any suggestions on where to look at to investigate on the cause of the problem?

Ah a homehub.
Set the Quicktime streaming setting, goto sys prefs/quicktime/streaming/streaming speed, set to 1.5mbps(
In ichats prefs click on video and change bandwidth limit to NONE.
Goto sys prefs/security/firewall and check "set access for specific........" and click the + at the bottom and add ichat to the list.
Restart ichat.
Also try connecting to me dfcom1 .mac account.

Error during Backend communication

Hi,
We have performed the system refresh for this system and backend
system ERX. After the refresh while we open the shopping cart and when
try to add the product to the shopping cart it says "Error during
backend communication". We have checked the RFC connection between the
systems its working fine.

Have you done the BDLS stuff in the backend too ?
Have you run RHOMATTRIBUTES_REPLACE ?
This will allow you to amend the following attributes.
ACS               System alias for accounting
BSA               Document type in backend system
BWA               Movement type in backend system (for reservations)
SYS               System alias
VENDOR_ACS          Accounting system for vendor
VENDOR_SYS          System alias for vendor
PRCAT               Product Category in backend system
WRK               Plant in backend system
LAG               Storage Location in backend system
After this you need to update the following attributes manually..
1.     Company Codes
2.     Purchasing Organisations
3.     Purchasing Groups
4.     Purchasing Group material group responsibility

Error in communicating with DCR

Preliminary question:
     For LMS 3.2 on Windows, which is better 2003 or 2008?
Primary issue:
     Background: new install of LMS 3.2 on Windows 2008 sp2 Virtual Machine.
          Upgraded Campus to 5.2.1
          Upgraded RME to 4.3.1
          when updating device packages, services started extremely slow with anidbeng taking 2hrs. portal showed service unavailable.
          had to restart crmdmgtd to be able to login.
          most links in CS return the following:   Error in communicating with DCR server. DCR server may be down. Please start the DCR server           and then refresh the page.   The DCR server shows running normal.
          tried restarting crmdmgtd
          attached DCR.log
         tried CSCtd07131 .. no success

Windows 2008 offers more scalability so I would go with that although LMS has been tested on both (you will have a longer life of support as well).
When applying the CSCtd07131 patch, you need to be sure it is the right patch for the right CS version as there are multiple versions out there. However, this is fixed in LMS 3.2.1 so you should just upgrade there.
An often overlooked matter when installing LMS are the steps mentioned here:

I see constant TAC cases due to installation problems because the above steps are not met or are half-met. Services starting slowly are usually an after-effect of something blocking ports (anti-virus or such) or possible database corruption. Setting DEP and anti-virus as specified above might help here, but if you did not follow these steps to the letter during this new install, I would suggest to cleanup this server and re-install properly; then move all the way to LMS 3.2.1.

I am working with ABAP Proxy to Rec JDBC( Integrating XI with MS SQL Server 2008 R2). I am using SAP PI 7.0
I am getting error in RWB at communication channel monitoring :

I have given Connection details at Rec JDBC Communication channel as :
JDBC Driver as : com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver
Connection : jdbc:sqlserver://10.1.92.111:1433;database=XONTUSERVENTURA_ORG_TEST.
Please help me in this regard. I really appreciate your valuable information and time.

Can you please tell me from where we will exact this .jar file, bcoz we have search lotzz but we helpless.
We install from this link http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&id=21599--> we download sqljdbc_3.0.1301.101_enu file >sqljdbc_3.0>enu-->in that I find sqljdbc.jar and sqljdbc4.jar files only . I cant above said .jar files.

Fatal error during installation

I have been attempting to update my version of Boot Camp from 2.1 to 2.2. I have tried on numerous occasions with Apple Software Update but it never installs when the computer restarts. I have Vista 32bit installed on the partition. I tried to update with my Snow Leopard disk to 3.0 but it says the installer encountered errors before Boot Camp could be configured. It also does this with my Leopard disk. As a last resort I tried to repair the Boot Camp Services from the Windows Vista control panel and I get Fatal Error During Installation. Any ideas?

Since you only give one of error log and the Error 0x80070643 code is a common error, we need more information to diagnose the problem. Before you collect the logs, you should follow up these steps to install Visual Studio:
1. Re-download the Visual studio from Microsoft official site here:

After download you should use File Checksum Integrity Verifier tool to verify the integrity of your download. If the values don't match, your download may be corrupted and you should download the file again:

Error during import of Transport Request in PI 7.1

I have installed PI 7.1 server on HP-UX 11.23 with Oracle 10g.
After completing all the post-installation activities,I configured CTS for moving objects developed by PI consultant to Quality & Production server.
Using CTS I Successfully imported all objects in Integration Repository but When Iam trying import objects of Integration directory,it is showing the error during deployment phase.

I am looking forward to implement SAPKW70017, I need to know the CONS of SP17, what was the reason which made you implement SP17, just to have updated Version of SP or did you face with any problems and decided to update the SP? what was the previous SP which you had,
